offers hypo allergenic rooms but lobby and employees scented with perfume ?
Bed was comfortable, interesting décor
Parking charges a night $20.. Wifi charges.. hotel prices are high. $15 dollar mixed drinks are a bit much. Guess the high prices pay for a great staff!
Staff accommodating and friendly. There are a great many people employed here... You are never looking for help! They are all helpful and knowledgeable.
Expensive parking lot !
Everything!! Walking distance to both Universal parks!!
NO BED EXPERIENCES
THE FACILITIES WERE GREAT. THE POOL, THE STAFF - ALSO WITH A CHILD THE LAUNDRY ROOM WAS SUPER.
Room not worth the price. Cheap quality.
The advantage of fast passes for the parks. The location of the hotel
All staff was great except for the concierge who was very arrogant and rude.
Breakfast Was great. And the fast passes fo the parks. We were on level 6 with newly renovated rooms.
Everything. Location is great
Very good restaurant and location (near Universal Park)
Having paid so much for the hotel room then having to pay for parking on top of that. We stayed at this hotel for the early park entrance and fast passes. Early park entrance was for universal studios only for the whole of our stay, we never got the early entrance to IOA (our stay was for six nights) The fast pass was no good as you can not use it on a lot of the new attractions ie Harry potter, and due to so many people having them the regular line where just as long as the fast pass lines.
How close it was to the parks.
Under 21-year-olds couldn't enter the Velvet Bar - we were travelling with two 19-year-olds who are of legal drinking age back home. Both were happy not to consume alcohol but a bit miffed about not being able to sit in the bar with their parents. Free WIFI access is not secure, we eventually stopped using it because we were being bombarded by messages telling us not to go any further as something was trying to steal our ID.
Easy and pleasant walk to Universal Studios theme parks, great value for money if visiting the theme parks as price includes express line access for both Universal Studios theme parks. Comfortable room, well-appointed. Great customer service and friendly staff, some more knowledgeable than others. Short drive to shopping precincts and easy access to freeways for day trips elsewhere.
Price is high, but with that said it's high everywhere
Expect to pay for overnight parking in a city centre location, but with so much space available here it would have been good if this was included in room cost
You'd expect Hard Rock to get the theme right, but the accommodation was first class standard too. Worth paying that bit extra to be right next to Universal and for those neat little rock touches around the hotel.
Umm the telephone in our room didn't work that's all
Staff were Soo cool, friendly and helpful. Entertainment was perfect and there was always much to do.
The price is a little too expensive when compared to other hotels, but we get for what you pay for.
I just looooved Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Studios. Our garden view room was great, the parks are within minutes walking or you can go by water taxi and you get express pass. No lines at all, except for Harry Potter. But super worth it.
Still a little pricey.
Proximity to Universal and the speed passes.
Close to Universal parks
Room service slow during busy hours, so last minute orders take a long time. But, if we had planned better, I'm sure it would have been fine.
Value was incredible. With one night stay, guests receive early entrance and express pass for two days. Beds were perfect, room quiet, pools warm and decor a delight. My daughter and I kept on saying "worth it" throughout our short stay.
Updated, concierge floor excellent location to the parks
Extra chargé for Wifi.
We enjoyed all the facilities at the hotel. Great services from staff.
That we had to leave !
The ability for everyone to do what ever they wanted at the same time and come and go with the best of everything! Then again be in a large group works too!!! Great weekend get way!!!!
My idea of rock and roll and the hotel's are two different things. If you have articles from the beatles and Elvis on display, It would be nice to actually hear their music. Instead, we were treated to head banging stuff that I never heard before and don't care to hear again. Experienced that same loud noise at the hard rock café. I asked the waitress about it, and she said that the DJ picks the songs. Must be an 18 year old kid with no appreciation for real music. The music was also very loud at both the café and the hotel. Hard to relax when your whole body is shaking. Of course, I may just be showing my age. Maybe they should change the name to "Head bangers Hotel" and have some pictures of a kid waving an uzi, rapping about his shoes, many girls and gold teeth, while banging on a trash can lid. If you are going to advertise a theme, then you should stick to that theme.
Hotel is within walking distance to park, or you can ride the ferry boat to the parks. Friendly staff, clean rooms and hotel. Free wi fi. Lounges and restaurants were good. Interesting to look at rock and roll theme items and clothing from stars.
The only fault we have is that the grab n go breakfast room should open 30 mins earlier.
The location of the hotel could not be better, situated 5 mins away from the entrance to Universal Studios, it's extremely easy for everybody to get to the entrance. The staff all round are very knowledgable and friendly, which made us feel welcome. We really took advantage of getting into the parks early, being an on site hotel resident, which helped with waiting less for the very popular rides.
