Club Quarters in Washington DC is a new concept for the hotel industry. This private, full service hotel overlooks Farragut Square, and is 2 blocks north of the White House, and near Lafayette Square....

Score from 146 reviews Excellent
It was walking distance to the White House. It was comfortable. The staff was friendly and personable. They were so courteous and professional the entire time. The night time cookies were a nice snack. I had been craving cookies while my husband and I were out for a walk. I was delighted to see them when I walked in the lobby. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was huge and luxurious!
I had trouble getting on the internet to do some work. I don't know if this due to lack of my knowledge of technology or bad reception but it really was a minor issue.
All went excellent
The lounge and restaurant were nice and comfortable. After a day of business work, it was nice to dine in comfort with some delicious food that was not pretentious.
The cleaner/freshner in the lobby was too strong. It was too much of a smell that at first smells fresh, but very quickly is overpowering. My only comment would be tone it down a little.
Location good, Breakfast pricey but good choices and quality. Had an issue with payment which was quickly resolved. Very friendly staff.
Air Con a bit noisy
Very friendly staff. Great location for walking to sights.
A/C in our room was very extreme on cold and hot. Could not get a good setting and the unit never turned off.
hectic noise of a machine running whole night
Fantastic location - across the street from a Metro stop and within walking distance of the White House and the Mall, Great staff, Updated and very comfortable rooms and common areas and great lobby bar and dining.
Nice and clean room. Neutrogena bath soap and shampoo is the standard . Very close to the metro station and walking distance (in Washington DC scale) to most touristic places. Although on the main road, during in weekend it was relatively quiet. But you have ear plugs in the room if needed
Limited restaurants nearby
Superb location for sightseeing - easy to walk to key sights (White House) and next door to subway. Friendly and welcoming staff - greeted with warm hellos / goodbyes every time we came in and out of the hotel - impressive for such a big and busy hotel. Amazing chocolate strawberries and Prosecco waiting for us in our room to celebrate our honeymoon - great touch! Room service food was really good.
Noise from outside - woken up by a full brass band busking on the street throughout our stay! Great music but crazy how loud it was considering we were on the 12th floor... The floor was damp in our room - we managed to dry it out by leaving the window open.
Allie was amazing! She was so helpful and the kids loved her. Mr Essa was funny and the kids enjoyed him as well. Staff was very helpfull in booking our tour. Hotel was clean and We had a great time and look forward to going back. I will also recommend this hotel.
Wifi was a little hard to get but not too concerning due to everything else going on. Had to pay for parking and no breackfast.
Sheets were old
Very nice Hotel n the accessibility is excellent. Close to all restaurant , artractions, and metro train station. No need to rent a car or stressed for parking since everything is within Walking Distance. Enjoyed our stay n exceeded our expectations
good service and very friendly sttaf .
parking not free .
We paid a lot for valet, yet NO one greated us when we arrived! We had to find someone to take our car. The person who "helped" us check in was very rude and hard to understand. For the amount of money we paid I thought it would've been a nicer room with better sheets.
My main concerns is cleanliness and wifi access, so I am not that demanding! but it ticks all the other boxes too as the fantastic location (just beside the white house), comfort, facilities. Staff was very professional. Nothing to point out, I would advise anyone to stay in this hotel.
i liked my room and the location of the hotel
limited variety for breakfast
The location of this hotel is ideal. We were able to walk to many places and there are a number of great restaurants around. The room was clean and we were happy with the amenities which allowed us to save money by preparing our own meals etc.
Unfortunately we encountered very rude staff members when an issue arose with our room rate. It is common for there to be confusion when hotels use many third party booking sites to advertise different rates. The receptionist Joel was very accomodating with our cash deposit for our three night stay as we did not have a credit card. He gave us our receipt and we settled in. The next morning (early) we received a call from the manager requesting payment for the third night. After trying to explain that we had already paid, the manager rudely accused us of trying to stay for free and argued with us about needing to pay more. We had just come off a very long flight and this was the last thing we needed, and even considered checking into another hotel. We went downstairs to clear up the situation and an employee with the accounting department came and rudely confronted us. The assistant manager, Daniel, even took to shouting at us and threatening to call police and evict us (in front of other customers). He falsely represented himself and produced a false receipt for us to pay. We left the front desk to find a place to call corporate headquarters. When we came back, we were lucky enough to find the original person who checked us in. He acknowledged that he made an error on his part and even gave us a night complementary for the trouble. We never received an apology from the manager for his tirade and the way he spoke to us.
Right in the heart of DC this hotel is perfect for exploring the sights. We were treated to chocolate strawberries and prosecco to celebrate our honeymoon! The king room is spacious and the bed super comfy. In house food / room service was of an excellent quality.
Expect noise - street facing rooms (even on the top floor) are subject to lots of street noise - not least the saxophone / jazz band that started on the street outside at 7am!!
The service is excellent!
Location staff knowledgeable but indifferent. Except some of the staff at breakfast who were excellent .
Too expensive for the money
Excellent location to DC attractions. Metro right across the street. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Lovely welcoming pitchers of flavored water upon entering and in afternoon, coffee, tea, yummy cookies and apples were available. Loved that guests needed a key card to go room floors. For a single parent and her child I loved this safety feature.
The front desk staff were not always friendly. Their body language and facial expressions seem to indicate that I was bothering them. I avoided the front desk as much as possible because of this. Even the bell person (older gentleman) was rude to my daughter. The new bell man, who said he just started was the only one who was so nice and helpful. Always sought him out if I had a question.
The room was very small.
Almost everything. Nice lobby love the color green
Did not like the noise that refrigerator makes at night
