It was close to airport and provided bus service
The restaurant staff was avoidant and on the rude side. But, it was on the later side when I showed up to dine. Either way, I expect the same service I would get if I was the first customer of the day. So, that was my only frustrating experience associated with the stay.
I liked the appearance, the finishes, the set up if the room. The food at the hotel restaurant was VERY good.

Newark airport, taxi system set up to take advantage of stuck travelers. Lack of late night food options. None of this is the fault of the hotel.
Horrible experience at Newark airport, but booked a last minute rom here after flight was cancelled. Very comfortable nicely decorated modern room. Wish we could have enjoyed it longer.
Not free Wi-Fi in room. The room was not good clean up ! The staff on breakfast ! Real bad service ... Must ask two or three times for juice , coffe and my bill. Not regular American style ! And after that ...the breakfast cost one extra fee of 19 Dollars
Good location for one night stay before your flight from Newark. Air-port-transfer bus every 15 minutes. Swimming-pool and a nice gym. Dinner in restaurant / Pub was great.
the bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were exceptional.
Winter storm and all flights cancelled, price of room jumped 150 per night for duration of storm. Clearly taking advantage of people stuck in storm. Also wifi did not work.
The evening reception desk Cynthia & her colleague were helpful with directions, parking, so on. The shuttle driver took us to the airport to rent a car & was great. The breakfast hostess made us feel at home with a smile. Jedi took our bags & gave suggestions & directions with a warm caring manner. The only surprise was the fellow who gave our breakfast bill. I asked if he was an Armenian since he said he was from Egypt where many Armenians fled the genocide of the late 1800s-1914, but he did not know any. We had a great stay. Thank you.
Security could't solve annoyance and disturbance from a room opposite ours until 2am!!

We checked in after midnight due to a delay on our plane, yet the hotel advised Booking.Com we were a No Show and were charged $99. This was later reimbursed.

We were not there long enough to dislike anything!
We had a short layover which became a very short layover when our incoming flight was delayed so only spent about 4 hours in the hotel. The free shuttle service was efficient (although I think we just missed one when we arrived) and we had no problems with anything at the hotel.

Not so efficient with the shuttle, even if it runs every 15mins. Allow at least 30mins to/from hotel.
Friendly staff. Good athmosphere in restaurants and bars.
Place could do with refurbishment Starbucks used some automatic coffee machine.

At the check in counter I felt the young woman who checked me in cared very little for the problem that appeared. Her "people" skills were non existent.
The driver on the shuttle was polite and helpful. The young man who saw to my luggage was again, polite and helpful. Later, after phone calls and complaints, a gentleman of the evening staff took care of the problems and gave me a free morning breakfast.
I had the deluxe room that was suppose to had came with bathrobes, there weren't any there which is okay.
I love tha hotel will most definitely be back here again to visit! Beautiful hotel just like it shows in the pictures.
