Very nice value for being close to NYC. Hotel was very clean, staff were very courteous, helpful and professional. The room was nice, would be nice to have a mini fridge but it wasn't by any means a deal breaker. Overall, very good choice.
Hallway near elevators on 4th floor had a very distinctive mildew smell. As if the carpets had been flooded and not cleaned and dried!

I resent paying for wifi in an expensive hotel like the Hilton when every little cheap hotel offers it free. Shame on you.
Very close to airport, has a Starbucks etc in lobby. Good size room.
Room needs redecorating, carpet was worn and dirty. Bathroom was in poor condition too.
We really appreciated the "quiet time" reminder to guests, as we were arriving from a long international flight and needed a quiet place to rest our heads.
The tiles in our bathroom were falling off the wall. There was also a hole near the toilet. The bathroom was overall in fair condition.

No food after 1:00 am. Staff didn't really know where we could go to eat. No spa facility and staff couldn't help us. Some dicy looking guys hanging in the parking garage at night.

Location to airport
Restaurant was closed for the day the afternoon we arrived. I had to send my drink back once and my dinner once while the other guest ate while I was waiting for my replacement entree. Food was expensive, the breakfast buffet was 'ice cold' when we arrived at 8:30a.m. The room keys failed 3 times and we had to wait outside our room to get someone to replace them. The pass we got to leave the parking lot didn't work, and we were stuck at the parking gate late in the evening and had to walk back to the front desk to get, yet another pass to leave. The hotel is located on a very confusing side road and we had to use GPS just to get across the highway to the airport. I would never go back to this hotel, never.
It was very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
The shuttle drivers were a little scary with their driving. A couple drove way to fast for that type of vehicle. I also found there were added fees not specified in the reservation.

The pool is a great size, but I was a bit confused why its only 4ft deep. Also during my stay the jacuzzi was not in service. I also didn't like that parking was not provided.
1.Beds are confortable 2. The room in general is nice.
1.At 6.15 am an employee put the invoice under the door AND he knocked on it just before! Wasn't really a nice to be woken up so early 2.At 8.20 am it was the cleaning leady that came and tried to open the door.... I was pissed off! 3. Once in your room you can hear anybody speaking on the hall...then you pray that nobody come to late or to early and start speaking otherwise it wakes you up...
Breakfast was not upto standard..
I needed a convenient, inexpensive room close to the airport in order to have a sleep during a brief layover, on my way to another destination. The Hilton Newark Airport was perfect in every way and excellent value for the money.
It's very convenient and stress-free for an early morning flight out of Newark.
Shuttle bus service very good and staff stored our baggage after checking out as we had a late flight.
This is a really nice hotel and the staff is excellent and really helpful. I was using it for parking for a trip out of Newark and then decided to stay over because my flight got in so late.
Signage getting to and leaving the hotel by car was not great. I had trouble getting there from 95/NJ Tpke and ended up going the wrong way when I left. Also the airport had terrible signage to get to the hotel shuttle.
The Hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly and the shuttle service to the airport was very efficient!
The room was nice decent size.
Upon check out I was charged $20 per day than my guaranteed rate was quotes as. Also I was told there would be a one time fee of $20 to park. At the end I was told it was per day. Entirely to me fees. state tax and city tax ok. But occupancy tax, tourism tax, city tourism tax. To many additional. Incidentals that were not explained when booking. Also there as issues. With an elevator that should have been put out of service. It was not. it was a nice hotel. But not for the money.
