pools and lagoons readily available. Great restaurant around.
need to drive there on your own.
Service is subpar for a resort.
The Best Resort I've ever stayed at. Great
We tried two restaurants in this hotel, both of them were so great. Though the prices were a little bit expensive, it somehow worth. We had dinner at KPC while viewing the beautiful sunset. It really a must do thing in the hotel. Also, the train and boat in the hotel were good to try.
The wifi in the room was not convenience enough. We had reconnected so many times.
Thankyou, out stay at your resort was fabulous, excellent in all areas, will recommend :)
The entire place facility was awesome. Over the top.Beautiful from top to bottom. We loved it. The Luau was fantastic
Had to pay for parking each and every day. For the price of the room it should be included.
Loved the property. It was beautiful and well equipped. The European trams and canal boat transportation throughout the resort was excellent.
The food was rather pricey and off property eating was inconveniently far away.
I did not like paying nine dollars for a scoop of ice cream $10 for a beer $30 for breakfast or $50 for pizza or $20 to park in a parking lot this 20 minutes from the hotel or mandatory $25 for Internet use Weather use the Internet or not. They didn't nickel and dime you they robbed us blind for every penny they could get.
Ok, this is very big resort but everything has been designed in a way that makes it friendly and that makes you really enjoy it. Room was ok. Pools are great, view on the Ocean is tremendous, and you can swim in the natural lagoon with sea tortles ! The kids really enjyed this ! Thanks !
The lagoon is great and the ambiance is a fun Disneyland like vibe. They have a couple of local brews from Kona Brewing on tap. One of the best places on the island to watch the sunset.
Food was pretty bland and definitely overpriced. Breakfast buffet at $30 was rough. Also pricing for equipment rental is steep.
Magnify mirror and bath mat should be standard in BR. Everything great . The extra $ 25.00 fee for Hilton activities, we did not attend, was not appreciated!
Above, sorry. I loved all the variety and our room was great. A god price for this room and view!!!! Thx a lot!
My romantic, delicious dinner at KPC while viewing the beautiful sunset. How accommodating they were when I left property behind and they returned it to me. Also the walk along the ocean near Buddha Point. Jennifer Bolstad's help with information prior to my arrival was most helpful. She is a true asset to your organization.
The food at the Waikoloa Coffee Co. downstairs by the elevators in the Lagoon Tower. Coffe good but the food not so good
To much for one night 307.00 total no free food or buffet.
The resort itself was gorgeous with lots of facilities. You could spend all your time at the resort without visiting anywhere else on the Big Island and still have a great time.
The bathroom in our room was way too small, the room had a large walk-in closet with a tiny bathroom next to it, the large walk-in closet was a waste of space in our opinion.
The environment and facilities. Its calming and stunning view. The ocean view is breath-taking. I love it.
They cut the time for the boat ride. I wish they keep it back as usual as in 2010.
Perfect location and there are a couple of golf courses around...
Room equipment too old, WIFI is too weak to access internet...
The location was perfect. It's like a little Disneyland there almost. The lagoon is awesome. Dolphins and pools were also very cool.
I was overcharged several different times during my stay for things that were unexplainable to me. The day I checked in they froze $340 on my card for a two night stay. Supposedly to "cover an average spending habit for their guests". Upon checking out, after the total cost of $633, including resort fees and a $25 a day mandatory wi-fi fee which we never used. I then had an additional $239 freeze on my card from the Hilton. For nothing. I had to call 3 times to get somebody who could actually fix it. I think they were hoping I wouldn't notice. Very over priced. Housekeeping also took my girlfriends phone when they came to change the sheets. Which she ended up finally getting back hours before we checked out. Not a good experience for the money.
the construction and view inuding decoration
Front service are worse than others -king land and vacation club are friendly. and helpful to guest. ...like me.
All environment and view from room
Service is not for even3stars as in USA or Europe because check in late with long line up -why don't they use service like MGM in Las Vegas ..faster !
Did not get the room I paid for.
the location, the beautiful ocean but I guess you can find another more intimated hotel nearby
this is a huge hotel, to go from one place to other requires long walks or waiting for the slow tram. on top of that we had to pass 40 rooms to reach our room.. When we stayed there it was packed with faimilies with children so that it was constantly noisy. the faked art work dispersed througout does not add to the appeal...
good place to stay the whole day and enjoy the hotel equipment. Lots of place to view and experienced. Very worth to stay at least one day.
hotel staff attitude not good!!!! When we check-in, very rude and very hard to find them if needed any assistance beside of lobby.
Spacious room, variety of facilities, clean, friendly atmosphere, beautiful resort interiors, wide selection at Hilton Buffet Breakfast, Waikoloa Shopping Village is 2 mins away. Perfect for families with kids such as for couples and elderly travellers. Great front desk staff from check-in until check-out's last moment. Dolphin Quest is superb and a real must-have!
Kabanas are highly overpriced. Do NOT take part in New Years Eve party - it was much below under all ecpectations - e.g. decoration and design was not existing at all, DJ was one of the worst ever. Ocean Tower is too far from main entrance and breakfast area. Room in Ocean Tower is outdated by style and by conditions and seriously damages the price/value level.
the setting is stunning...superb landscaping and walks around the resort. we visited 20 years ago and seawater lagoon is still very enjoyable...perhaps a few more lounges at busy times?? Chinese restaurant was excellent, and Lagoon Bar/food was efficient. Dolphin experience for 21 year-old was a highlight. Omelet station @ breakfast was also v.good. Buddha Point , Museum Walk and shopping at Hawaiian shop / jewellery was pleasant also.
Luau was a complete rip-off - food was horrible. We have visited others in Hawaii & Tahiti- do not go to this one! Breakfast was chaotic- at busy time wait was 45 mins...to be seated!!! small bathrooms but housekeeping is excellent.
