Comfortable bed Good Hawaiian show Swimming with turtles
Spa experince good but EXTREME expensive
Various kinds oft restaurants
shortage of the staff
-Too far from Kona - Little to no night life, things close too early - Place just too big and took a lot of time to get around
- Beautiful resort - Great staff -
Food, especially for breakfast. has not many assortment and dish quality is normal
Hotel's general surrounding (garden, beach, pool...etc)
Kamaiana and because large group there no deal for us even though booked plenty in advance.... First room was horrible until my wife got us to another one
Slow check in
The design of the resort, breakfast, lagoon beach
Facility is old compare to 15years ago. Needs maintenance.
It is a huge hotel with three compounds. It has monorail and Gondalo inside the hotel which is interesting if you have kids. The hotel over facility is getting old. It is evident from the wear and tear of the elevator and decoration. Nevertheless it does have many activities inside the hotel. In addition it is close to two shopping mall （Kings' and Queens）where you can choose additional varieties of food. The KPC restaurant has wonderful seafood. We enjoyed very much the lobster and Monchang fish.
Loved the location and huge resort with all the different amenities. Loved the pool and the lagoon. Great stay for my birthday. A lil theam park for adults. One of the best resorts I've ever stayed at! Amazing and worth the cost. If you go to Kona its s must stay!
front desk reception never answer to call , 2 staff for 20 guest is not enough , market place food is very so so and expensive
themes and decoration front desk manager fixed the issues , concierge is efficient , Pizza restaurant has excellent location and seatings
The food was not up to the stars given this hotel or the prices charged. I, frankly was unpleasantly surprised at the poor selection and quality. It certainly did not reflect the foodie revolution going on the rest of the island. When it was under Hyatt management it was known for excellent cuisine. The additional resort fees, parking fees and fees for breathing after paying for the accommodations were annoying.
The views from almost everywhere were stunning.
Tram, canal boat, view & activities are excellent. Sguttle to the mall & bear beach makes everything very convenience.
Paying 5 star prices for a tired old American motel
You had to walk a long way around to get anywhere with a stroller. Not stroller or whelp chair friendly.
They should be renovate the rooms. There was no grocery store inside the hotel and the restaurants were quite expensive.
Great pools, the lagoon is perfect. We have seen turtles in there. The room was clean and the bed is comfortable. It is not true that it takes long time to get everywhere! By walk you can go everywhere within 10 minutes or you can use the train also. With the ship is a little bit longer but it is funny cruising with it.
Price. The room rare was ok. I wouldn't say the room was a "great" value, but good. Unfortunately the pricing on everything else is over the top.
The grounds where outstanding! Great for families!! Clean, laid out well and well maintained! The rooms where comfortable! Loved the Dolphins!!!
stunning resort - had no idea it was so elaborate
The pool was too cold. Not enough rental cars available. Heavy room doors that people let slam shut.
The staff is awesome and very accommodating. The resort offers a lot of different activities. There are many different areas of the resort to explore and good modes of transportation if you don't like to walk much. The Christmas dinner buffet was wonderful. The onsite Luau was lot of fun.
Dolphins are in a small enclosure. Resort is run down, little lighting at night and after 6 pm, there is not much to do. Probably good for kids due to the facilities.
It's in Hawaii.
The rooms were large - two connecting rooms so we had tgw king and the kids shared the double. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The rooms, gardens, pools and facilities were spotless. If we stayed again, probably we would stay in lagoon tower as it is more centrally located however the ocean tower had amazing views and was very quiet.
The tram, only one worked, and need to make it more debit card friendly. Some people don't deal with credit cards. I use my debit card. I have money why would that not work instead of credit. It's been two days and my account is still on hold because I used a debit card. Stupid!!!! Will not stay again just because of that. And we frequent the island often. And make recommendations often!!
Like the pools, waterfalls, loved the dolphins, the rocked beaches...
The cleanliness was not up to Hilton standards. Maid service seem to not have the attention to detail expected.
The location and views were absolutely awesome. The property is just spectacular with numerous pools, walking paths, restaurants and lagoons. The art work is just fantastic. The staff was polite, friendly and helpful.
$19.00 per day for parking is GOUGING! And then a very long walk. Dining at the facility is too expensive. Over $8.00 for an ice cream cone? Come on!!!!!! The Mexican place was $17.00 for stale chips and a not so good dip. View from our room was workman tearing up the street and grass.
Grounds were beautiful. Loved the pools and lagoon. Room OK, but nothing unusual
