Easy to highway access it but No vent or fan or window in bathroom room 236 you had to wait till steam left before doing make up and hair. Also walls very thin easy to hear people next room and above
For a handicap roomy here should be walk in shower not tub. And vent in bThroom
paper thin walls...had to clean off my own table at breakfast
Very comfortable , clean with a staff happy to help out.
I had read bad reviews and almost cancelled. Glad I didn't. The management must have listened to the reviews and made changes. It was comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The breakfast was so much more than we expected.
The staff were wonderful- very helpful cheerful, and accommodating. Would stay there again!
Good location close to New Haven and in nice little town, very nice staff, great breakfast, good pool and opening hours.
Bad construction quality of the hotel building: Woken up at 5:30 AM by technical noises inside the building, walls so thin you could hear other people in the rooms around you - unacceptable for the steep price.
It was quite at night. Easy to sleep.. And the bed were very comfortable. Rooms also nice..
Staff very friendly; room was clean. Good location for me - next to I-95.
Noisy. I wrote ahead to say I needed to work - at check-in read for the first time, it seems, and I was next to TV, then singing along with iPod then job interview on the phone (the man had experience at an airfield in North Dakota) - all came through the paper-thin walls.
Staff was nice.
There is no soundproofing between the rooms or hallway. And, we happened to be next to people partying unitl 2 A.M. The breakfast was about as unhealthy as possible—lots of high fat, processed food, no fruit, yucky coffee.
Good sized and nice room, except for the condition of the bed
This hotel is poor value, with tax $172 for accommodation comparable to local hotels at less than half the price. Horrible breakfast, what a contrast with that in the Holiday Inn in Bridgeport, which was excellent. Most troubling however, was the fact that we discovered our bed sheets were stained with blood and God-knows what else. We reported this to the young woman at the desk -- the manager wasn't there. She said she would report to manager, I left phone number -- and we never heard from the manager. I waited nearly a week before writing this review. I am a very frequent traveler and certainly won't stay at this hotel again, but am also re-evaluating my use of Holiday Inns in general.
Breakfast was delicious
I prefer the waffles than pancakes. I had waffles in other Holiday Inn Expresses
