Convenience to downtown and riverwalk
No places to eat within walking distance. When traveling alone, I don't like having to drive to find someplace to eat. Not being familiar with the area, I just got in my car and drove until I found something I could eat, probably about 5 miles. Never did see any fast-food places.
The Front Desk staff were the best! Very professional and helpful!
The Hotel was full for 2 nights. Wash cloths were very scarce!
We stayed when there were many softball teams in town. It was quiet even with all the teams that were there. The staff was excellent the rooms were great you could not hear your neighbors. Centrally located within walking and or driving distance of downtown Chattanooga was great. Definitely will be returning again. The breakfast that was offered was full and well-maintained with yogurt pancakes or waffles cereal pastries.
I personally enjoy a softer bad but the beds were large clean and very comfortable
Terrific bed. Friendly front-desk staff and manager.
No Wi-Fi in room or in business center. Staff couldn't problem-solve it. Breakfast area very crowded. Expected something more upscale, and less standard, for $220/night.
We had such a great experience during our stay! The staff was awesome, the rooms were immaculate and the breakfast was amazing! We will definitely be back!
Modern Decor, clean rooms and comfy beds! So cozy!!
Staff knocking on our door at 10 am before check out to leave the bill- my husband was still asleep.
Breakfast seating had plenty of options and was comfortable. Food was good too. Property overall was great
Mattress was terrible, some old spring mattress. Bed is most important aspect of hotel and it was the worst part of the room.
Very comfortable and spacious room, clean and quiet. Excellent breakfast. Super efficient staff. Nice and clean indoor pool.
Excellent location. Ample car parking space. Close to exit lane from freeway. Standard Holiday Inn room and breakfast which is more than acceptable.
better than average breakfast
Hotel was advertised as "downtown." I guess technically this is true, but it is a LONG 4-block walk to get to a shuttle or civilization, especially for my 64-year old mother. Also, the walk is along and under busy roads and highways, very dangerous to walk back to at night. If you have a car and drive into town, no issue, but if you are looking for a downtown hotel where you can walk out of the lobby and be in the center of things, do not stay here.
Staff was friendly and knowledgable about the area. Hotel was clean.
I wish that is was located in the center of downtown instead of kind of off the beaten path. But part of that could have been my fault I should have googled the distance of the location and downtown.
Convenient Location, clean and cozy room.
Front desk staff, housekeeping, breakfast staff, everyone we encountered while at this hotel was so friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed and right at home. Location was perfect for us. We enjoyed everything about our stay here.
The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was friendly. Located in Chattanooga.
The hotel was located on the perimeter of downtown, so we had to drive everywhere and pay for parking. The rate for the hotel was good on the website but ended up charging almost $50 dollars in taxes and fees, including parking. How do you charge someone to park at a hotel you are PAYING to stay at?
the friendliness of everyone and also how clean everything was
easy to get to
carpet had large visible stain
The price was reasonable for what was received and in comparison to surrounding hotels but still a bit high in my opinion at final billing.
My only complaint was not really related to the hotel itself. Only having one entrance/exit is undesirable; especially when a tour bus blocks it.
The staff and the location. Close to the interstate and downtown.
The toilet paper and the warf rat behind the building.
Very friendly check-in clerk, but very short-staffed. Was very apologetic for delay in getting roll away bed sent to us. Nice amenities, especially pool, wonderful breakfast! Very clean bath.
Floor of room had not been vacuumed in very long time. Saw this when we had to move furniture to set up roll away bed. Felt sorry for check-in clerk who was having to do double duty in getting roll away and additional towels to us, while busy checking in people at the front desk.
The breakfast is very good, the place is quiet, and parking is only $3 a day which you can eliminate by joining their hotel club for no fee. It's also walking distance to the Convention Center, if that's your goal in town.
Some of the room cleaning staff were strangely surly about leaving enough towels, although others made up for it.
The. Room was nice.
No Bar and no grille Work out facilities lacking. Pool inside, no sun
It's one of the best hotels I've stayed in WORLDWIDE in every aspect!
We liked the location. Close enough to downtown attractions without being too close to all the commotion.
My 18 month old baby became sick and was running a fever and did not sleep our first night. We had to cut our trip short by one night and head home to her doctor. i felt that we should have been given at least a partial refund for our last night that we were not able to use at no fault of ours, but we were refused and this is not fair to young families with kids that sometimes become ill quickly. It would mean a lot to me to be given a refund since we had to leave early due to an emergency to get home to my baby's doctor.
