The fire alarm turned on al 3 45 am BOTH !!!! days during our 2 night stay That was very unconfortable
Great location, comfortable and quiet rooms.
Breakfast was really busy and it seemed like they had undercatered. The reception area was always very busy and crowded.
great location in the city center, close to bus terminal
some problems with air conditioner & obtaining good room temp
Cleanliness, comfortable feel
Fire alarm going off at 4am, staff that was not very nice.
I love the location! Right across from convention center!
No exausted fans in bathrooms!
location, breakfast, workout room, staff
Home2suites proved to be one of the best hotels we have stayed during our 2 weeks visit to USA this time around. We were surprised that it was just across the street from the Reading Terminal Market and about 5-10min walk to Hard Rock Cafe and Macy's. We regretted not exploring its surrounding area by foot (we had a car during our stay) to discover more. The 24hr drinks pantry in the lobby which provided hot coffee, tea and hot cocoa was a godsend especially in winter. The hotel has a very modern but homely lobby. The kitchenette in the room gave us the flexibility to fix our own simple dinner. They can even loan you a mini stove if you need one but the microwave was enough for us. Room is clean, big and had a sufficient living area with sofa seating.
On check-in, staff didn't look too welcoming. Be prepared to lug your baggage yourselves for they do not have a proper lobby with doorman/bellman services.
Location is excellent, across the street from Reading Terminal, close to shops, historical buildings and easy access to the museums. The room has good size. Bathroom is clean and modern . The kitchen has the equipment you need to prepare breakfast or a simple dinner. The breakfast offered in the lobby does not have much variety, but liked the DIY concept - I prepared my own waffle . The first room they gave us had internal view. We asked to change and were leaded to another room also with internal view. Only the third room they gave us overlooked the street. But the room was great and we were very pleased .
We had a bizarre incident with the fire alarm that went off in the night ( 2AM ) . We were told that the problem was caused by burgers store that is in the same building. It was very unpleasant.
Overall the hospitality as soon we walked in.
I liked the space on rooms and all amenities such as continental fresh and delicious breakfast, plus the convenience of restaurants on both end of hotel building.
Great location directly across the street from reading terminal. Close enough to most things you can walk. Very friendly staff. The room was big and the couch was comfortable. Clean hotel lots of gym equipment.
The hotel parking $40 a day. The pool was a mini pool. Tip If you are willing to walk a few blocks you can park in a local secure garage for $18 a day.
Room set up was good for all of us, and location was great!
Breakfast was crazy and very little food to be had and then they shut it down while we were getting things...
Great location. Good sized room. In house laundry. Breakfast. Useful kitchen facilities. We weren't paying for facilties we didn't need such as room service or bar. Restaurants and bars right next door.
The hotel is in a great location, near the Reading Market, good restaurants and walking distance to many significant attractions. The breakfast is decent for an included breakfast, with both hot and cold options. The fitness room was in good shape with newer equipment and was well spread out. The rooms were a nice size, good blackout shades and noise isolation.
Some additional dusting/vacuuming wouldn't hurt. Climate control was challenging, as the halls were near 80 degrees and the thermostat in the room wouldn't go below 73 degrees, no matter what we did. Would have appreciated complimentary conditioner.
Perfect location - very close to all the sights very comfy
i got charged twice, because the person, who checked me in forgot to tell me that my debit card was treaded like cash and not only the 50,- deposit was charged as well as the full amout, even though I told him, I wanted to pay cash the day of check-out. Now I have troubles with my bank. Stove is only one plate and a very, very small pan.
Clean and nicely decorated. Friendly staff and welcoming
Pillows too soft and breakfast was so so
Clean, functional, modern decor. Very friendly and efficient staff.
The heating-cooling system was difficult to regulate and noisy. The room heats up naturally and makes the air conditioner run. Every time the air conditioner turned on or off during the night, it woke me up.
The hotel room was spacious and had every amenity that a family would need. The decor was modern and comfortable.
The breakfast area was too crowded and there was not enough food on all 3 mornings that we were there.
Breakfast was chaotic ... not enough tables or chairs for the crowd.
The layout of the rooms were spacious and comfortable; large, clean bathroom and located in a great part of the city.
Friendly, accommodating staff. Great FREE breakfast. Great room.
wifi speed is too slow
The bed is very comfortable. The room is nice. Elevator requires room card to operate so it's more secure.
The breakfast ends too early (at 9am in the morning). We were not informed of this and missed it.
Staff : location : price : will recommend to all friends and family Thank you Home2
I have given feedback to the front desk: purely for improvement. Washroom/ towel cleanliness could be improved on.
The room was big and comfortable.
Car parking is too expensive.
Great location. Coffee and tea at the reception area, a nice place to relax. Friendly staff. Well-equipped kitchen and clean room.
