Room smelled stale.
just about everything , will be booking there in the future. so peaceful , n close to everything.
didn't have a hand rail in shower/ bathtub , tub slippery when wet .
Place smelled horrible so we cancelled the second night and went elsewhere very dirty and smelly we went to nearby store and bought lysol and febreze so we could stand the first night horrible !!!!!!
The room was big and clean with a great kitchen.
The bed was too hard.
contental breakfast lousy laundry terribly cockroaches
Locationn - Walking distance from Rice Village (1/2 mile) and Rice campus Great shower -- hot water and pressure Friendly staff Reminded me of the motels my family stayed at on cross-country trips in the 70s.
WiFi not password-protected so unsafe to log in to email, etc. Lousy breakfast (sugary cereals mostly)
I liked the shuttle. It was prompt and came fast when called.
There were no comfortable chairs in the room and no where to sit and eat. Also I am a diabetic and the breakfast was not diabetic friendly.
the front desk is very helpful.
room is not clean. the service is always in wrong time service. she does not finish her cleaning when i check in 4:00pm. but clean the next day when i m still in.
It felt like an apartment, very cozy.
The air con units were too high up the wall.
Convenient to Medical Center
Older facility that needs a major upgrade; poor parking (but free); AC did not work well, even on a not-so-hot evening. Furnishings clean but in poor condition.
no furniture, bath room door wouldn't close, nothing worked. Holes in the walls.
Absolutely disgusting. The whole room stunk and was so cheaply put together. The pictures are lies! We tried to check out, but couldn't get our money back. We were on the first floor and complained so much because we were so sick from the mildew smells that they switched rooms and it made a huge difference, but it was still disgusting.
Convenience to medical center
Not enough parking, especially after arriving late and telling them that my daughter is blind. It was hard to get to our room. Rough parking lot.
please avoid staying here for your safety and health.
AirConditioner is very noisy。
There is really nothing good to say about this place other than the location. The staff is sloppy and unfriendly. The only reason we didn't walk out immediately is because by the time we got there on the first day we were exhausted and on the second day, we had spent much of the day in the Emergency Room with my husband and it was too late to check out and change hotels. So we stayed here 2 nights. BAD CHOICE... When we asked for extra towels because there were 4 of us in the room, we were informed that there were only 3 towels allowed for each room and that they didn't have anymore. They advertise the kitchenettes, however, there are no utinsils, pans or anything else furnished. The rooms are musky smelling, lamp shades were broken with sharp points exposed, the light in the bathroom was a flourescent light, which did not have a cover, and we had to adjust it everytime we tried to turn it on because it wouldn't come on. Last but not least, the worst part was that while my husband, who is undergoing chemo therapy, was brushing his teeth, the sink fell off the wall... thankfully it didn't hurt him. When we reported it, the staff was extremely nonchalant about the situation and said that they would come in and caulk it back to the wall.. when we checked it, the sink wasn't even bolted to the wall! The pipes were holding it up. What ever you do... DON'T STAY here!!! We moved to another hotel, and the only thing they offered was a refund of the night we didn't stay there... We Have contacted corporate about this place... It should be closed down Immediately!!! It's full of safety hazards,
Bath towers. They did not enough hot water.
The location was good. Close to MD Anderson Cancer Center for my fathers visits that week.
The room had sticky counter tops. No soap in bathroom. We had to move out of original room after just 15 minutes due to plugged toilet. Second room had no working hairdryer. No soap/shampoo/or lotion. Not that we needed it but we didn't bring a hair dryer on trip. We didn't bring bath soap on trip. The fold out sofa had trash when opened up. The regular beds had make up stains on one bed. The ac compressor sounded like it was going to die. We went to the front room for more towels and there was none to give us. Funny, because the used towels had been removed from our room and not replaced with fresh towels. The place looks nice from the oitside, but looks can be deceiving. We stayed only 3 of the 4 nights because we finished with cancer testing early. We asked the front desk for a receit and he could not produce one for us. We did use booking.com to reserve. We hope that we can get money returned for that last night we didn't stay.
mosquitos in room because of no insulation around door. big spaces for bug accesd to include crickets.
We were blessed to have the option to take the shuttle to the hospital downtown. We didn't have to worry with where to go or parking. The cleaning lady, who was also the shuttle driver to the hospital downtown was very knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. I hope her supervisor knows she is an asset to the business and is compensated for it.
The meldew smell in the room was horrible. We had to buy Febreeze and continously spray throughout the day to get it tolerable. By the 2nd day it was not so bad. Very roomy, comfortable beds/pillows. The microwave took 3x's as long to cook a TV dinner than what I am used to. All was tolerable, we may stay again because of the location.
I did like the location it was perfect. The price wasn't all that bad.
The water pressure was low, it took the water forever to get hot,it had a big hole in the wall, refridgerator would not get cold, knobs fall of the shower, linen was not clean.Maids just come in at any time they did it several times,My lady friend was half naked one time the guy just busted in the room with the do not disturb sign on the door knob. This happened everyday.Staff not Friendly or Professional at all.
Plus side is thAt I've said here several times and I couldn't check in till like 12? Because of where I was coming from and they where always there?
I didn't like the fact that one night I had too wake up early for an emergency... and no one would, come and check me out?
price was reasonable for my intendations
it was dark not enough lighting so going out to the parking lot didn't feel safe.
It was a very nice motel, and very close to where we needed to be
Only thing is I wish the lights near the bed you could of turned off without having to get out of bed
