Nice location. Close to downtown athens. Also, the different variety of rooms was very nice too. the sound system in the theater is really nice, and the master bedroom is very spacious.

This is not just a home: it's a destination. No other vacation home in Georgia (so far as we know) offers the amenities you will find at Riverbend Retreat. The home is an island of privacy not far from the town center. It's in a secluded, wooded neighborhood with a golf course on one side and the Oconee River on the other. Once you get here, you'll likely feel like you're away from everything . . even though just about everything is still close by. Athens and the surrounding area have a lot to offer: good restaurants, campus events, axe throwing, mini-bowling, a ghost tour, an escape room, a huge park with fishing, horseback riding, and trails, kids' play areas, putt-putt golf, an amusement park, and historical homes from as back as the 1840's. As for the home itself, it's *directly across the street* from UGA golf course and in easy driving distance from UGA (2 miles), grocery stores (3 miles), Five Points (4 miles), and many restaurants. On game days, it is possible to walk on foot (3.4 miles) to Stanford Stadium. The neighborhood is also great for walking and jogging.     ► They don’t record sound or conversation.

    ► They report decibel levels ONLY.

    (4) Everyone present must follow the house rules and all posted rules (such as the safety rules posted by the hot tub).

    ► Only adults may operate the fireplace. Use caution. Open flu before use.

    ► Someone must be in the room while fire is burning.

    ► You assume all risk and responsibility for anyone you allow to be present.

    (5) Before holding a party or event, or admitting more than four unregistered guests, please get our advance permission through messaging on Booking.com.

    ► The property’s entrances have outward-facing cameras.
