Our booking though booking.com did not appear at check in hence a 20 minute delay whilst reception staff investigated. We were then not happy with the room - apparently a "city view" room doesn't necessarily give you a view of the city, maybe another tower block next door. On requesting a change, this was given plus complimentsry access to The Rgency Club, offering early evening canapés and a free breakfast. Problem dealt with well.
The way they handled a problem.
The bathrooms has no vents and no microwave in the rooms
When I parked in front of the Hyatt a guy open my door and said the parking garage is full but I will take care of it. I said thank you and walked inside and checked in. When I checked in the lady at the desk told me there is a charge of $32 which is outrageous. But I felt like the man that took my car should have told me that there was a charge to began with. I haven't takin my two boys anywhere on vacation in two years. Thought we would stay in a really nice hotel and have some fun at a NBA game and a MLB game on Saturday. In two days in Atlanta I spent $70 in parking. Long story short, I had to sell my baseball tickets in order to get back to Kentucky
No parking at the hotel; garage was full; not even valet. Was directed to an AAA parking garage a block away. Had to schlepp my luggage in the rain to and from the parking garage.
Small room which isn't a big deal I was just there to sleep, but for the $200+ price tag the room was a little dirty for my liking, the bathroom toilet didn't look the cleanest especially there being a pubic hair in the toilet, also one on a wash rag which I found a little disturbing, the shower door handle was broken, overall the room just didn't feel very clean to me, had a musty smell and I feel it's very poorly taken care of by the shape of the shower the desk the door, even the tv had a bolt missing from the mount so it had to be braced against the side of the wall or it would spin, just very poorly maintained (at least my room was) I also booked a city view room and I got put in a 5th floor room in the radius tower facing the other towers with a view of 1 street and nothing else, had to park off site a block away in a dumpy parking garage with a Hyatt sign and pay $18 to park all night because the garage at the hotel was full. Next time I'll save the money and stay somewhere cheaper.
Great staff, very friendly and helpful, downtown close to many places of interest,
the traffic is so congesred in that area.
The hotel is very neat and clean. The staff was quite helpful in all areas.
The rooms were a biit small
The staff was very friendly and the overall hotel was very clean, upscale and had a bar on the entrance level...it was real nice
The parking situation was awful; valet was full and self park is not on site.
The restaurant in the lobby was like an extension of the lobby so a bit noisy, but a hidden gem in terms of quality food.
Floor in hallway seemed dirty. Other common areas well kept and room very clean. There seemed to be trash on the floor and it looked like it had not been vacuumed recently.
Didn't like the fact our floor was on the 21st floor, had kids running up and down the hall all night long.
Love the location and atmospher..
It was quiet and peaceful no noise in the halls or from other rooms. I've stayed in other hotels where u have to listen to noise all night but not this one.
No Free Parking
Free wifi, location, Friendly staff
I'm in love
Beds were extremely comfortable, you could smell how clean the room was when we entered. Our requests about the two rooms we reserved were met with no issues.
The room was really hot. Thermostat was set to 65 and the air was on all night long. The temperature seemed to be in the mid to high 70s all night long.
Parking was to far away. We had to walk with our bag
Tv not good Should change tv control
Stuff is kind bed was so soft
Wifi not free
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful Love my accommodations and room
No bad experiences
To begin with the, all the staff we encountered were cheerful, professional and helpful, from Check in, Check out (Mary) and Justin, who took our bags to the room. The food in their restaurants was fresh & delicious and our room was clean and comfortable. Their location is in walking distance of the majority of downtown sites or you can just relax in the hotel because they have everything there. We will definitely be returning customers.
$32 Hotel parking. But what can you do?
Our room on the 21st floor had a good overlook of downtown Atlanta and a balcony to help you take it all in. Staff was friendly and the room was nice. I would stay again.
Parking was to be included with the room rental, but we were informed when we arrived that there was no parking available for us. We were told that there was spaced leased near by but when we arrived at the "leased" parking deck we were told that parking wasn't available either. The reason for staying at the hotel was to avoid the hassle of traffic and driving home after the event, instead we drove home anyway and never checked in. Very disappointed!
Parking was the pits
The hotel was right in the center of everything.
Parking was a joke Room was to Small for the money!
When we arrived the valet was full. We were asked to self park in the designated garage which was ok but it was 5 blocks away in the cold rain.
