Nothing to complain of, provided all you need is an adequate room. The staff were professional and competent more than friendly, but I've dealt with enough incompetence that I appreciated this.
The wireless connection up on the third floor was unreliable and patchy.
Old bedding and towels.. Towels are rough. Bedding is sometimes stained.
I dont even no where to start from the guest services to the bedroom i never wish anyone to go through this kind of experience
Relatively Clean Place Staff is really nice and helpful for anything You can get free coffee and water as you wish
Internet is not fast and getting interrupted all the time It's clean but don't expect it as pure clean Bring your own towel, they are supposed to be white but they are never that clean.
The staff were very attentive and friendly.
As a single girl coming to Oakland, I was skeptical. Not the worst neighborhood and not the best, but I felt safe. Bathroom needs alittle work, but overall you pay for what you get. Worth the money and gated property.
Everything was ok. Just ok. In line with the low cost ($75) of the room.
The room (non-smoking) had a very strong smell. The pillows were flatten, the shower was lame, there were beer cans left behind the table...when I got home, my PJs smelled just like the bed! Ugh!
Freeways and some stores were into a walking distance. Bathroom was clean, bed sheets were clean, staff member were helpful. For a night, well the price is right.
pillows and bedspreads need to be replaced, those are very wore and dirty. The Gate and doors need to be locked and access needs to improve.
Staff friendly, and accommodating, it did take a little time to bring me the blanket (which was a bed spread) and the heating is on a very low timer, but other than that its clean and the shower is great.
Slow service, I asked for a blanket (went down to the office since it was 10p ) waited until 10:30p to call, after not receiving the requested blanket, got it within 15 min
Clean rooms, 5-minute walk to MacArthur station of metro (called BART), free wi-fi is stable, very friendly staff, lots of parking space if you have a car. Stayed for 6 days and would definitely stay again.
The staff was very helpful.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, gated parking, microwave and fridge in room!
No safetybox, Was waked up first morning at 8, asked if we needed coffe, first phone, then nocking, thuh apoligize , but.. Noisy heating
The size of the room and bed. Never stayed there b4 and was surprised by the look.
Hair in the shower and the decorative pillow casings were dirty and stained. Also this was supposed to b a non smoking room but there were used matches on the floor by the dressers.
The room was excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff were great
WiFi is poor
It's definitely overpriced n very expensive for such accommodation provided
Close to a Bart Station. And I got a good, spacious room with everything in it.
Oakland is not the most interesting place in the US, but the hotel is in walking distance (about 2 miles) from Amtrak station Emeryville.
Room was comfortable and clean. Hot shower.
Location is a bit sketchy. We had no trouble walking from the BART (two blocks) but my daughter who lives in Berkeley was nervous about the area. She said there had been a lot street crime around there.
The room was very clean and the bedding and decor looked fresh and new. Close to the BART. Free parking.
Walking through a gated area (although the gates weren't locked) was interesting. We discovered that we were on the safer side of the intersection. Lots of sirens. Not somewhere I would stay for more than a night, as I do have two young children
The staff was helpful and very friendly. The motel is on walking distance to a BART station for access to San Francisco. It was next to a Carl's Jr, so basically that was my breakfast and dinner. Bed was large and comfortable. Good amount of TV channels.
The wifi connection dropped every 15 minutes or so on one router, but the 3rd floor one was stable. Bathroom was awkwardly small. Price is OK compared to others in the bay area, but still relatively high to other places I've been in Europe and Asia.
Staff is great!!!!!
We came here due to a Salsa Congress that was happening downtown at the Marriot. Our friends payed a little over 270 per night there, while us at the Imperial Inn with better service payed less than 70. I was very happy for having stayed here.
