The bed was comfy. The room coffee was good.
A bit noisy with show going on next door and the crowds. I just wasn't aware what was right next door. Walls very thin and I could hear hallway commotion as well as next room. The shower run over water situation isn't pleasant. The cost was way too high for the reasons mentioned.
Location and comfort.
Not a bad experience, but parking was a bit of a trek, especially for older guests. The $25.00 fee was a bit high because of this. I think a lower fee would make a difference in someone deciding between this hotel and another downtown hotel.
I loved the whole FOX Theater vibe. My daughter and I saw WICKED, and it was our first FOX event. She was so excited about the wall murals of stage, lights, and performers. Great location, right across from the FOX.. wonderful overall.
nothing major, but the front was off the AC unit, making it unsafe. I didn't report it; we weren't in the room long enough for it to be a problem.
Great weekend. Walked to the Fox for a show and walked back to the room. No hassle. Great room service.
Small room was no problem. Only negative, they were working on the floor above our room around 10:00 am.
The ice machine was directly across from our room, which I guess was a good thing since we had medicine that needed to be refrigerated and there was no fridge. However, the machine was broken so we had to truck down to the nearest one on the 8th floor to keep our meds in the ice bucket cold. Despite it's broken state we still had the pleasure of listening to the ice machine make loud, dinosaur like noises every 5-10 minutes throughout the night, which led to a restless sleep. And the bathroom was tiny. We will not stay here again.
The heater kept turn off and the ac unit kept turning off and you CANNOT just turn off the unit. We ended up getting sick. The bathroom was an actual closet. The towels had washed in blood stains. The maintenance man who came to see about the heater unit said "they do this. you have to just turn it up really high so when the ac kicks in it's not too cold"
They added $50 charge that didn't go away
We loved the location of the hotel. The lobby and attendants were great. The king size bed was one of the most comfortable beds that we have slept in our travels (and there have been many).
The room is very small. We had a king size bed that took almost all of the floor space. The bathroom sink and toilet are only about 2 feet away from each other. My 6'4" husband had difficulty with that. No tub just a shower that soaked the floor when using.
Nice decor and good location
Rooms were really small and not as many nice touches as the Hotel Indigo in Asheville, NC.
THE LOBBY BAR,,INVITING FUNKY DECOR, LOVED SITTING ON PATIO IN FRONT...GREAT PLACE TO RELAX WITH A DRINK AND PEOPLE WATCH! WONDERFUL VIEW OF THE FOX THEATRE. VERY COURTEOUS STAFF, LIKED WOOD FLOORS IN ROOMS.. COZY ATMOSPHERE IN ROOM. THIS WAS 2ND STAY AND WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK.
NO OVERHANG TO COVER THE PATIO TABLES IF RAINING. WALKING FROM THE PARKING GARAGE TO HOTEL UNPLEASANT WHEN RAINING AND TRYING TO JUGGLE UMBRELLA AND LUGGAGE. WILL VALET PARK NEXT TIME BATHROOM IS TINY.BUT CLEAN VENDING MACHINE HARD TO FIND.
For me it was a ideal location. My meeting place was less than 2 minutes from the hotel. I love this hotel, staff on all levels were so helpful and friendly...keep up the good work.
Bathroom to small but we always make it work :)
By necessity, bathrooms are small. Still...
The room was so small it was hard to pass each other. The bathroom was impossible. I hit my head on the sink while sitting on the toilet, and I am extremely short. The ice bucket was a metal pail. It leaked everywhere. The heat was not working in the room so maintenance came very quickly and fixed it. However, the entire front of the unit kept falling off afterward. We finally put it in a corner and left it. Restaurant food was ok at best. The room was perfect for newlyweds that want to be close at all times. I will not be returning.
Bathroom too small
I liked it all!! There isnt really anything that I would change! I loved the history of the building and the updated look! My husband and I were very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay there again!
I liked the location of the hotel..easy to walk and get around to see lots of places..the bed was comfortable
the room itself was tiny.. the bathroom was exceptionally small...my husbands knees touched the bathroom sink..hard to get in and out of the bathroom..again the room was too small for a king bed
I loved the location.
Bathroom and size of the room very very small
1. Place was really clean. 2. Staff was great. 3. Location was perfect.
1. Cleaning crew was loud, and working at 6:AM Sunday Morning. 2. There was a loud barking dog in the hotel starting about 6:30 and continuing until 11:AM. 3. Bathroom is small.
I loved the fact that it was close to everything that we wanted to see. Being across from the fox theater was perfect. We were able to catch a cab to take us out for the evening and not have to worry about driving through the traffic.
The bathroom was small but if you used the large counter and mirror just outside of it you will be fine.
Michael was the night clerk who checked us in and he was friendly, efficient and welcoming. My teens and I enjoyed the decor and the rooms are well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Plenty of pillows and coverings on the beds. Good location. Free coffee in the lobby. I love boutique hotels and this is one I would definitely stay in again.
I appreciated the parking deck availability that's super close, but when I exited the deck, I ended up in the next door hotel and it took me a round about way to get into the Indigo. But that could just be my poor navigational skills and the fact that I arrived after dark.
Very nice room. Nicely decorated and bed very comfortable.
Bathroom very small but nice and modern
Location in heart of midtown.
No refrigerator. Tiniest bathroom I have ever seen. Parking facility used for public parking- can be very difficult to get in the deck or return to the hotel if events are going on.
- Location - Wi-Fi efficiency - Comfort of bed
- bathroom a bit small - no regular soft drinks in vending machines
The staff was always helpful and very friendly. The decor I the hotel is very cool. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets.
The bathrooms are very small and the portions of the food you get at the restaurant aren't that great for the price of the food.
