I liked the courtyard outside. The staff were friendly and helpful when suggesting things to see and do. The room was very clean and comfortable. A good nights sleep.
perhaps the staff could have let us know about which areas to perhaps be cautious eg - Louis Armstrong park nearby
Location Excellent. Staff helpful and friendly. Decor modern and comfortable with good wifi
Room was small and lacked a window
Cozy hotel in a charming 19th century house. Ideal location on the St. Ann street. It's just two minutes walk to Bourbon street though it's quite there. I booked it several months prior to my trip to New Orleans and I'm happy I chose this hotel.
Time flys so fast in New Orleans!
Beautiful room and clean (tiny) bathroom in central location.
Our room opened directly onto the shared courtyard, had to keep curtains closed always.
Amenities poor. Water, coffee etc not replenished. We were charged for water which we found unusual and disturbing. Also found door to unit wide open upon our return. All our belongings were exposed. Fortunately nothing was missing. The desk staff were very accommodating. All in all a very lovely hotel. My wife has a very different opinion. Mostly upset because of open door. She has a serious medical condition and all her medicines were in the room and worried they could disappear or be compromised.
the mattress was firm
the first room had no windows..was like being in a dungeon. second room opened onto a courtyard which could have been lovely except that was the smoking area and a large party of people who were attending a wedding would be in the courtyard at midnight or later chatting as if it were 12 noon not 12 midnight. the final straw was when we had no hot water in our room. for almost $200.00/night the shower needs to be hot!
Very clean. Nice sheets and bedding. Courtyard was pleasant to hang out with our friends. Location great.
We live in a 700 sq ft condo so we're fine with small rooms but this was ridiculous. No room for dresser or chair, forcing us to live out of our suitcase. There was not room for that either--we had to block the door to get into the suitcase. Staff often not on site.
Our room (50) was ok but our friends room was a bed & nothing else...same rate as ours. Would not have been happy with their room for 6 nights!!! No other issues, so would stY here again.
Location was brilliant. Second floor room outside was great. Staff really helpful.
How convenient it was to visit the French quarter .
$460 kind of pricey
Location and staff was amazing
When we went to check in our room was not prepared, we got changed to a room with no windows by the front door and ended up barely sleeping because of the drunks till 4 am and then the fitness people from 5 am on. Switched back to our original room the following night and couldn't close the door while pooping
It was within walking distance to all of the locations we wanted to see during our short stay. We were in the property across the street from the Inn itself and in a quiet courtyard, very peaceful.
We loved that our rooms were on the courtyard and enjoyed our morning coffee and evening wine and cheese sitting in the courtyard. We were close to everythng we wanted to see and far enough away from the crowds and noise.
One room we had was a little small, but very comfortable.
Perfect location, with in walking distance of all sight seeing activities
Small rooms, we had the attic so the ceiling was slanted on one side. We bumped our heads a few times. Also there was no customer parking we had to find other accommodations for our vehicle.
The staff were very helpful. Friendly and nice. The room was attractive.
The wifi was intermittent
Great location, the room was nicely presented but far too small,
The room was t
It was as expected...a comfortable guest house as a place to end the day and sleep. It is a historical Inn and is not expected to be a 4-star hotel with all its amenities. Coffee and cake in lobby.
Bathtubs were slippery and could use mats or stickers. The TV lacked a good programming guide. The room phone did not appear to work properly.
Location and service at front desk
I loved the location! A quick walk to Bourbon Street. It was also well secured so I knew creeps couldn't get in. The front desk staff was very friendly!
The room was pretty small especially for the price.
Great location, nicely decorated rooms, staff all amazingly nice!!!
Walls thin, room small to maneuver in, couldn't access wifi, coffee pot didn't work, no juice or continental breakfast. None of these major issues but little things can add up.
Location I am very fascinated by the Voo Doo of New Orleans and I was only 1/2 block from the temple and on the same street where the Paris-Lavaue family lived.
Lack of attention to requests for repair of basic equipment/need: availabity of warm water for shower, clogged bathtub, room phone.
Loved the location.
Tiny rooms, loud neighbors, didn't feel 100% safe as our room was on the balcony and had an interesting lock. TINY bathrooms.
