Friendly staff and personal treatment, the jacuzzi in the room was a very pleasant surprise!
The friendliness of the staff as well as the closeness to the marina and all of the shops and restaurants in the village.
The room was clean and the bed was excellent. Staff was cordial and responsive to our requests.
The outside carpeting needed serious replacement-watch your step. Although the weather had been rather cool, management had not turned on the heating system-we awoke to 66 degree in the room.
Staff was great... Price was great value for the money...
No air conditioner....but it was 40 degrees out so that did not play much of a role.
It was where I needed to stay and not too expensive.
Rather shabby, needs some cleaning and repairl
the staff, the room and the village
Location, Location Walking distance to several good restaurants Spotless clean Very comfertable bed
Parking isn't the best, but adiquate. The bars of soap they provide are not much bigger than a quarter when new, and no soap dish in the shower. Bath towels were frayed. (talk about nit picking)
Comfortable place right downtown in June Lake. Very dog friendly.
Need more restaurant options in town.
The staff was amazing, I would totally stay there again. It was good for the price, and in a great location.
Very nice one bedroom suite. Large kitchen, full size refridgerator and stove. Cozy, perfect little living room. Ample closets and drawers. Nice TV in Living Room. Wonderful location if you want to be in town.
No pool or spa. Husband would have liked an additional TV in the bedroom.
Spacious and clean room. Very friendly staff.
Beds were comfortable and kitchen facilities were like home. Cottage was reasonably priced. We caught a lot of trout, did lots of hiking and had a great time!
I had no dislikes whatsoever.
As a new visitor, I expect I can get tips and route recommendations from the receiptionist, they were not be able to provide any tips and not familiar with the places for fun. It's too far to the Yosemite, need another 2.5 hours. I would not take this in my next trip.
The location was beautiful with outstanding views. The friendliness of the staff was brilliant. Room was a little dated but extremely clean. The newly opened brewery was a welcoming place with friendly locals. The tiger pub was right next door, busy and friendly.
Not enough kitchenware. Pots, utensils. Exhaust fan didn't work. Kept setting off smoke alarm. Couldn't read oven settings.
The location was good, but no lake view, they were pet friendly.
The buildings were very old and in serious need of repair and upgrade. There was no air conditioning and the two windows in the sleeping area wouldn't open to let in fresh air. It was hot and stuffy, hard to sleep.
June Lake, CA is a very quiet little town in a very beautiful part of the eastern Sierras. The town is very quiet and the way the units are situated you feel very private.
It was much further from Yosemite's main attractions than we thought it would be. However, these areas east of Yosemite have their own beauty and sites of interest.
This is a very beautiful place, and the Villager is within walking distance of two of the June Lakes, as well as the restaurants and shops in town. The suite was well equipped, including dishes and pots.
The world has discovered June Lakes, and it is expensive. The Villager is one of the best deals in town, but don't forget to bring money.
Late arrival, key by office door.
Easy access to June Lake, Mono Lake and Bodie ghost town. Peaceful setting.
Bed was comfortable, nice, new TV.
Carpets were filthy, couldn't regulate temperature in shower.
IT was clean and kitchen well equiped
Maintenance was poor
If you are just looking for a place to keep your stuff and lay your head for a decent price, this is the place. Every single staff member was super friendly and ready to help. The towels and linens were very clean and the room was neat.
These are not really dislikes, just observations: the windows either do not open or stay open unless you prop them open. If one expects amenities, there really are none beyond TV, a coffee maker, and plug-in fans for air circulation. There is heat for the winter cold.
No AC Icemachine broken decayed building much too expensive for such a rotten place
