staff was helpful. walking distance to good food and brewery, and it was only 5 min from slopes.
Nice cabin into the woods. Helpful staff, they helped us putting up a fire, lent us a sled. We had so much fun. I totally recommend it.
The house was very cold and it took long time to heat it.
Room was warm, bed was comfortable, TV had Outside Channel. Very rustic, and that's JUne Lake for you, location was perfect for me. Walking distance to two restaurants.
No bath in the room -- but I booked late.
Helpful and friendly staff
Friendly staff (or owner?) at front desk. Nice atmosphere and environment.
It's a bit outdated. Suits the character of the environment though.
Wi-Fi and new TV allowed Netflix kids movie streaming.
The heat didn't work. Room temp when we woke was 54 - inside.
It was pretty quiet.
The shower did not work properly, and when my fiancé told the guy at the desk about it, he did not even apologize for it.
If you're looking for a place that has the worst shower, burnt out light bulbs, two-prong outlets, $5 per load laundry room, and a bulldozer with a pile of dirt as the view from your room.....then this is the place for you. I had to use the ice bucket to capture water because the shower took low-flow to a new level. Your choices to make coffee include the bathroom or on top of the TV since that is where the three-prong outlets are. Spend $10-$20 per room to avoid dissatisfied guests!
Lovely place in a hidden little vilage. I am very happy to have found this place, good feel to it. Stone throw away from a lovely pub, with great food.
The place was clean and for spacious. We did not expect to spend much time in the place so I got one of the least expensive rooms in the area. What was really nice was that hot water was available almost instantaneously - hot water in 5 to 10 seconds!
Could have used a cooler in the room and I had some trouble with the coffee maker.
June Lake is absolutely beautiful. This motel was under remodeling at the time but it was still great to stay there.
Key didn't work and no one there to help. Took 1 hour, helpful lady in the bar to lend us her phone and some luck to get help.
Uncomfortable couch Hot water took ten minutes to get hot Plumbing just hanging in shower
The noise and the thumping sounds next door and up stairs where the owner or employee who lives there have al, alot of kids and they were running back and forth upstairs above us at all different hours of the day. Mostley when we were trying to sleep and rest. Not coming back.
When they finally got us into another room, it was quite nice with a jacuzzi and separate shower. Beds were comfortable..
The first room they put us in, it was impossible to open the lock with old fashioned keys. The door basically had to be kicked open. We complained and they gave us another room which was much better and the key actually worked. Old fashioned locks and keys.
The threadbare carpet on the steps up to the apartment said everything. The refurbishment programme we had read about seems to have come to a grinding halt. We felt that we should have got far more for our money. Out of 9 places we stayed during our 3 week trip, this was the joint worst and it was the second most expensive. Reception was not even open for check-out.
Clean room Location Very hot water Blue tub, sink and toilet! HDTV Wonderful comforters
Had to fight with key to open door Cheap wood linoleum floors over spongy floor No refrigerator or microwave No hair dryer No AC/heater unit in room No closet
Very quite location to stop on the way from/to yosemite
We asked for another room, as we had a room right beneath the owners appartement and you heard every single step or talking. as there were no other rooms left, staff offered me an upgrade for a suite (no, not for free), as this was the only room left. The "suite" we got was very quite but shabby, doors did not close well and the overall condition of the suite wasn't worth the money.
The location, very clean, fresh towels each day.
No parking, loud refrigerator, pot bell stove had a broken gasket so I could not use it.
Older facility, very small room and bathroom needs some updating. Lighting was not good for reading (unless in bed) or knitting. Availability of outlets for hair dryer difficult to reach. Have stayed is less expensive with better amenities. However, overall very clean and very nice staff.
broken light, slow wi-fi, thin walls, inadequate electrical plugs (had to put coffee pot on floor to plug in), unfriendly staff, whole room was run down and needs love
2nd bedroom in 2-bedroom suite has no windows.
Close to Yosemite. Quiet location not too far from the lake.
Old and worn out. No fridge. Not many facilities.
Centrally located to Restaurants and lakes for fishing
coffee did not work on 3rd morning
Very comfy rooms, well maintained in a really nice location
walls a bit thin, no fridge in the rooms..
