fantastic location. friendly and helpful staff. pet friendly.
Bed was comfortable. Staff very helpful. Great location. Easy access to bus. Breakfast could have been better. would stay again. Very reasonable price.
Shower was rubbish
If you like noisy hotels then this is great. Close to many small business and marina.
A little too noisy sometimes
Good price for accommodation that is not city centre. Staff were very knowledgeable about local transport and always called a cab for us when needed.
Common area is a bit run down. It is time for an upgrade like the rooms which have been refurbished.
Elevator didn't work for the three nights we stayed there. Wife was on crutches with a fractured foot.
Great location Lots of parking
No fridge No microwave Slightly Weak wifi Weak water-force in showers Pathetic breakfast, pretty much just bread n butter
Coffee maker in room.
Noise from street, lamp in room had a broken shade, mismatched lamps on nightstands.
location and free parking
room was very noisy, small bathroom
Location was within walking distance to loads of restaurants and shopping.
Run down, dirty, terrible water pressure in the shower.
Great location; Very clean rooms;
Extreme car/traffic noise coming from the street, couldn't sleep first night at all (ear plugs may be the solution); Very simple breakfast;
Staff the best ever. Location great. Will definitely come again and refer to others
WIFI service was poor.
Perfectly located, with a Help full and friendly staff
The room was large.
Parking spaces are small. So, be forewarned, it can be a challenge to park a mid-size, mini-van or larger vehicle.
This hotel is basic but hs everything you need. The staff are helpful and charming, the area is great near Webster for good restaurants and bars and shopping, parking on site and easy access out of town across the Golden Gate Bridge. You can pay a lot more for the same thing a few blocks down but don't waste your money. If you are a light sleeper request a room facing away from Lombard
Hotel close to Chestnut St for shops/restaurants. Bed was ok.
Road is extremely busy all day and night(which we had read about) but overall room felt shabby and unloved.
Reasonable value for money given the high prices in SF. Free car park. Close to Marina district.
Very noisy. Only some rooms were redecorated.
very clean, great location, available parking, great beds, excellent service/staff,
overpriced for events days (Columbus day), weak air-condition, fridge did not work..
Excellent location with free parking and on a main bus route, friendly and helpful staff,
Nothing of note
good value for the money you pay
Good location, free parking, helpful staff, felt safe, would happily stay again if returning to San Fran.
It is noisey however this wasn't a problem as I'm a heavy sleeper. All motels on Lombard street are going to be noisey.
Free parking Breakfast Shower Cleanliness
Noisy but take earplugs or walk miles like I did and it won't be a problem
Excellent location Spacious rooms Free parking (tight spaces however)
Beds were comfortable.
Couldn't sleep at all due to constant traffic all through night on Lombard Street - windows and doors require replacing to acoustic sealed type. Cleaners left windows open whilst we were out, with only fly screen to prevent anyone getting in. Curtains also left open leaving all our stuff in view. Only given three towels each day for four of us - each time I rang to say we needed an extra towel I was asked to come and collect it. Breakfast area rammed due to small 3m x 3m space where lots of annoyed people stood around waiting to use the ineffectual toasters and wait to sit and eat, whilst holding their food. This is the worst breakfast choice of any hotel I've ever been in. Door access cards kept failing, so had to keep going up and down from third floor to get replacement ones. Staff unhelpful. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
San Francisco was a bit chilly. The AC in the room saved our lives. The room was small was enough for two. Same applies for the bathroom as well.
