Reasonable value for money given the high prices in SF. Free car park. Close to Marina district.
Very noisy. Only some rooms were redecorated.
very clean, great location, available parking, great beds, excellent service/staff,
overpriced for events days (Columbus day), weak air-condition, fridge did not work..
Excellent location with free parking and on a main bus route, friendly and helpful staff,
Nothing of note
good value for the money you pay
Good location, free parking, helpful staff, felt safe, would happily stay again if returning to San Fran.
It is noisey however this wasn't a problem as I'm a heavy sleeper. All motels on Lombard street are going to be noisey.
Free parking Breakfast Shower Cleanliness
Noisy but take earplugs or walk miles like I did and it won't be a problem
Excellent location Spacious rooms Free parking (tight spaces however)
Beds were comfortable.
Couldn't sleep at all due to constant traffic all through night on Lombard Street - windows and doors require replacing to acoustic sealed type. Cleaners left windows open whilst we were out, with only fly screen to prevent anyone getting in. Curtains also left open leaving all our stuff in view. Only given three towels each day for four of us - each time I rang to say we needed an extra towel I was asked to come and collect it. Breakfast area rammed due to small 3m x 3m space where lots of annoyed people stood around waiting to use the ineffectual toasters and wait to sit and eat, whilst holding their food. This is the worst breakfast choice of any hotel I've ever been in. Door access cards kept failing, so had to keep going up and down from third floor to get replacement ones. Staff unhelpful. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
San Francisco was a bit chilly. The AC in the room saved our lives. The room was small was enough for two. Same applies for the bathroom as well.
Staff, Room, Location
Pricey for a busy weekend.
Location, and requested a quiet room at the back on the 3rd floor so did not hear hwy101
Breakfast room very small.
Friendly staff. Nicely located. Spacious rooms, clean. Breakfast simple but sufficient to start the day. Parking is okay. Enough restaurants within walking distance. Excellent bus connection to 'center city' San Francisco.
Rooms at the street side are a little noisy due to passing traffic.
free parking space
breakfast: too few tables for too many guests, also very basic
Easy and free parking, in front of the door. Nice room, comfortable bed. Nice neighbourhood, Walgreen shop is near. The staff was very kind.
The room was humid. (But humid weather is usual in San Francisco during summer.)
Clean! Fantastic location in Marina district that served well for a quick #30 bus ride to Ghiradelli Square and then a 15-20min walk to Chinatown and a comfy return after a long day. La Luna is backed by beautiful Presidio park and one short block from great shops, coffee (Ethiopian drip) and a small, sweet Italian deli on Chestnut. Isabel at front desk is friendly and helpful and told us, "Just go and have fun, and no dieting. You are in San Francisco." That was is the right advice for a quick weekend trip. We liked that the hotel is on a busy street, you can hear the cars and walk along at night safely. We will stay again and liked that the price was reasonable for the amazing location and cleanliness.
Staff were super awesome and friendly. Room was nice, bed was comfortable. I recommend the hotel but make other breakfast plans.
Coffee pot in room didn't work. Breakfast downstairs was a joke. Only had toast and English muffins. There were apples but they had a weird goo on them.
Great location, free parking, very friendly staff. Great value for money.
The complimentary breakfast is pretty weak. But this isn't a priority when you're walking distance to so many amazing restaurants. Lombard St. is pretty loud, but that's an inescapable part of staying in such a fun part of town.
Lovely big rooms, welcoming staff, location, parking, simple breakfast.
Bookings.com did not send me a confirmation of booking.
Hotel is in a great part of town. Iv stayed at some other hotels on Lombard and they were really gross. This one was very nice. Seemed to have new beds and linens and towels. Nice size rooms. And it's a good safe location to walk at night.
Our room wasn't ready when we got there at noon but that happens on busy weekends I guess.
Very close walking distance to various historical locations.
Noisy ,noisy ,noisy room, heavy street traffic in the morning and I the afternoon !.Small smelly room, not enough electrical outlets.
location was decent as it was very close to a bus stop and a walgreens to buy water or food or whatever (also to get cash back was nice if you have a canadian bank account) free parking free wifi
loud on lombard street very small rooms and bathroom breakfast was literally awful, i think i complained for days that they even say breakfast included. It was instant oatmeal, bread and coffee. Oh ya and a couple apples. It was the exact same thing every day, and i don't know about you- but i can't eat bread for breakfast everyday!
Very quiet if you stay in the back. Very clean. Good parking. Can walk to Chestnut St. with lots of restaurants and shops.
The bed cushion was dirty. The matress was not even.
