Score from 286 reviews Excellent
Boat transportation. Restaurants. Pool area. Friendly staff.
Parks are very close to the Hotel.
There was a terrible really terrible smell of cheap perfume at the entrance of the hotel as well the entire lobby. Really strong smell that made you sick.
We sat in the floor of the hallway for 45 minutes while the maintenance man worked to get our door open due to a faulty card reader.
Close to the Boardwalk and EPCOT
Hotel room smelled musty.
Fantastic location--a 15 minute walk or boat to the rear entrance of Epcot and a short boat ride to Hollywood Studios (also, buses to MK and AK) Great Restaurants on site and next door at the Swan (and you can charge to your room at the Swan restaurants, too) Very comfortable beds Friendly and helpful staff
No real major complaints. I didn't love the toiletries (and they didn't provide a disposable shower cap), and the in room blow dryer was not great. Resort fee adds up for longer stays One downside to it not being a full Disney hotel is that you cannot charge things to your room from the parks via the Magic Bands. Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice.
Location Location Location
The 16 dollar extortion fee to park as a hotel guest in the hotel parking lot. That really sticks in my craw that you pay and pay dearly for the location of the hotel but they tack on a 16 dollar parking fee! Outrageous and for that reason and that reason alone I would not stay here again. Everything about Orlando is about extracting the maximum amount of dollars in your wallet-this adds insult to injury!
The room and location were great, hotel facilities were also very good.
The cleaning of the room varied between very early and very late.
Location and balcony
Location was perfect to go to Food and Wine at Epcot!
$16 parking plus $23 resort fee can really add up!
really close to Disney, friendly staff, great choice of restaurants on site. Beds very comfortable, rooms have plenty of space.
our room smelled like a hamster cage, not bad enough to complain but enough to be annoying. expected a little better choice of in-room toiletries.
Location, pool area
We have stayed at various hotels close to Disney over the years and this one was one of the best. The walking distance to epcot was fabulous and just what we needed/wanted, as we always end our days with the firework.
The bathroom (tub and toilet) could have been cleaner. I am a property manager and rent vacation homes/villas myself and am therefore very picky when it comes to cleanliness.
Everything...very accommodating and helpful. Actually stayed at the Swan Hotel. A mix-up on my part. Instead of sending us to the Dolphin, staff found us a room at the Swan (an upgrade also)!!!
Easy to get to all Disney parks.
The food at any of the restaurant.
It has a great location Easy acces to theme parks Clean Friendly staff
Rooms are a bit on the small side
Need more benches outside
The location of hotel in relation to Walt Disney world parks
Does not utilize disneys magical express! Don't be fooled by Disney in the name, and when you book they don't tell you, you have to book thru Mears more of an expense.
The hotel facilities
They were extremely accommodating, our flight had been cancelled & they were more than happy to refund that night & allow us another. the car hire is in the lobby & easy to get your car, all the staff were helpfull & polite
I was mis-informed at check-in that as an SPG member, the resort fees would be waived. The fees were not waived.
Arrived on property around 11am, was able to enjoy the pool area until our room was ready at 3pm. This I really liked as was able to get maximum time for just a one night stay. This hotel is in the middle of Disney World Property and connects with Disney's Boardwalk Hotel, Caribbean Beach Resort which has plenty of night life. We spent the day by the pool drinking cold beers, listening to nice music. The pool area is fantastic, and didn't notice any gangsters or riff raff. A higher level cliental makes this hotel even nicer. At night had dinner at The ESPN bar, the chicken wings were fantastic, and had great conversation with an older couple. The boardwalk area is great for an evening stroll, with performers. Just a great experience!
This is a very upscale hotel, and the woman behind the counter let me know it when I asked where exactly my reservation was, Dolphin or Swan!
Clean facility, friendly and helpful staff easy check in and out
Parking was horrible. Self parking was closed and you had to park in BFE and walk 30 mins to hotel because a white tent and conference being held , or you could pay for valet and wait forever.
transportation to the parks
I surprised my son and took him to Disney for his 9th birthday. We had the best time! Before we even checked in, my son was playing Wii bowling with the bell staff, and the location is great-- just a short, free water taxi ride to the Disney Boardwalk-- awesome for dining and shopping.
The food was a little expensive but well worth it..I paid $40.00 for 2 burger /2 Fries..no drinks..ut was Hot & Fresh!! I also enjoyed the view from my room. There is a boardwalk in walking distance to get food & play games.
My room had a slight odor to it, wasnt a big fan of that.
