transportation to the parks
The pool was amazing!
The weather was too hot! Lol
The pools and location were ideal. There was a camp available with great deals for when we wanted to go to fancier restaurants without kids.
The property isn't considered a Disney resort property - so there were a few drawbacks- no transportation to and from hotel and no meal plan option.
Having to go around the building to get to the pool, when it was basically at the end of our hall. No access outside from there.
Lovely hotel & the disney buses/waterboats are brilliant. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the disney area
Location was great
My room over looked the other roof. For the money there was no view
At the Dolphin you have all the amenities of being on Disney property without feeling like you're on Disney property. Particularly as non-fanatical young 20-something traveling with parents, I enjoyed the convenience of complimentary Disney transport to parks and being walking distance from the Boardwalk without feeling like I was surrounded by Mickey. Great restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin and a nice recreation area with sports courts, 3 large pools, and a pond.
Pricey meals (understandable to some extent), not enough umbrellas/shade by the pool
Beautiful Facilities. Swimming pool. Nice staff.
Room view. Unknown resort fees.
The Disney experience has been a part of my family since wdw opened ( I was there the day they opened the Magic Kingdom, indeed even before then to see the Mickey Mouse Review" of coming attractions before the mk opened) That said...the best part of the Dolphin Resort...Location, location, location. The Resort offers optimal access to all of the parks. Transportation was readily available. For first timers at WDW...it is a stunning complex. Other likes... Food quality was good...(but also see dislikes...). Ticket counters to purchase passes to parks were located on premesis...definitely a time saver. Pool/Beach was nice, as was the overall decor. We love Disney and have always tried to stay in the resort area for convienience and to conserve the most valuable commodity at the parks...time! Loved the Dolphin, the staff was helpful and friendly and overall the property was clean and inviting. In those regards... The Dolphin Resort is a pleasant, safe and comfortable place to stay. Recommended, after consideration for comments in the "Dislikes" section.
Hmmm.... Parking was $16.00 per day...seriously, after paying a premium rate for the ( Fireworks view w/balcony) room...I Dont think paying to park was appropriate! The non-guest general public parks there at the same rate....perhaps there should be a seperate lot for paying guests of the hotel. That point alone was an honest sting upon arrival and deprived the hotel of claiming its "guests" were special in any way. The room...balcony with fireworks view, was decent but nothing exceptional...small and showing wear, but overall a decent room considering the hotel is geared for convention business as well. Probably not worth the extra $ for the upgrade in the end. One of the families "likes" was the food quality, but again, the price? A bit much for the average working stiff who saves, possibly for years, to come to Disney. Perhaps a smaller, cheaper fare offering location could be discreetly placed? There was a $6.87 service charge ( a resort fee...not part of the tip, which was on a different line on the receipt) for a $60.54 meal ( Pot roast ala carte and lasagna a la carte...2 Meals 4 bottled soft drinks and a salad)charged to a card...thats more than a10% surcharge...and in addition to what the card company charges. For the record, as a former Florida resident I've been to wdw with the family many times over the years since it first opened...several generations in fact. Admittedly, wdw is not for the financially faint of heart and offers a multitude of truly magical entertainment options...but the price per usable hour of time on the property ( which includes the resort areas) has finally reached a top-heavy (expense) point that I fear will exclude a fair share of the demographic that has been faithful to the Disney franchise by consistently bringing family and friends to the parks, often, as with my family, an annual visit. As stated in the "likes" section...
I liked that it was so close to all of the parks.
I didn't like that we had to pay to park at the facility. If you are a guest there, I believe you should be able to park on the premises without having to pay.
Very clean, great staff, very spacious rooms, amazing view from our room
Rooms are a little outdated
The whole place 2 as great.
We had to leave..
The beds were very comfortable. Shower worked very well. Front desk staff was very friendly. Sink separate from toilet and tub area. Rather quiet-except for neighbors with children who left at 6 a.m. You can pick up a boat ride to Hollywood Studios. You can walk to EPCOT if you are up to the heat. Bottles of water in the room. Fridge and coffee maker. Nice laundry room, game room, fitness center. Beautiful lobby!
Extra charges for just about everything from parking to the view. The tv didn't work right-popping and crackling noises. The phone didn't work right, lights on it blinking all night and the handset didn't work. Bathtub didn't drain properly.Balconies facing the windows of other rooms. LONG walk to anything in the hotel. The water closet and tub are very small. Prices of "snack" type foods were ridiculous. Parking lot was over-full with cars blocking the driving lanes. Very "professional" feel to the entire complex.
Need more clean And parkin is spencer
The location, the place it self with lots of enjoynment inside great pool a beutiful Lobby make you feel really comfortable and relax, friendly staff and really affordable prices very nice view and very close to the attractions.
Excellent in facility, location ,service , staff.

Many thanks to your staff for the good service and quick response to our requests. We, my sister and my granddaughter, loved your hotel and we will recommend your hotel to our friends. See you soon. With respect, Zinaida Swarts.
I wrote for you my message but my message came back. I used your e-mail address. Any things very good, thanks.
What a perfect place. This is second stay. We had a view of the Epcot fireworks from out balcony. We ordered room service they were quick and polite. All in all we will not being staying anywhere else.
Excellent location and great staff. can't wait to come back.
That I had to leave :-(
It looks you are in a regular hotel not inside Disney, no images, no games, no characters, etc...no Disney...
