Loved the close proximity to the parks...bus shuttle was excellent and fast.. Loved the gift shops and layout of the lobby, etc...
Very disappointed with restaurant experience... Bluezoo quality of food was not good and prices were outrageous. Our room was just not what we expected for a Walt Disney property.. We will not stay there again for the price. If everything was top notch we would not mind the cost... but that wasn't the case unfortunately:( We expect more from Disney..
Hotel seems dated. Was expecting nicer. Staff was friendly.
Needs a renovation.
The heavenly bed was the only saving grace.
Paid for king with resort view. Arrived an hour later that they didn't have a king with a view. Choices were double with view or King no view. Took the view and got room 10037. The view was of a gross mildewed flat roof from part of the hotel leading to a small building holding the enormous vase statue blocking full straight on view. Room smelled musty and ceiling had large water spots painted over but not matching rest of ceiling. Hotel seems to be under a lot of needed renovations. Self parking was a hike. Would have called to change rooms but it was late and so I sucked it up and reminded myself to stay at a Disney owned hotel next time to meet my expectations. Even their value rooms are a better quality stay and half the cost. I love bookings.com and will use it for other destinations as I have stayed great places previously. This hotel doesn't currently deserve a high rating and may mislead or disappoint other guests.
Location. More adult oriented. Quietness.
Since it is on Disney property we expected more Disney perks such as Magic Bands and discount on future stays if booked before checkout. Resort fee and parking fee. Could have stayed at another Disney property for same price had we known about these fees.
Comfort & Service.
bed was very comfortable, usually dont sleep well on vacation but not this time! Resort fee included 2 bottles of water each night which is nice, good options for dining.
walls were so thin i could hear the people in the next room talking. when they decided to play loud music i was worried i was going to have to call the front desk since i had a 3am wake up call but luckily they decided to party in the bar rather then their room. thank goodness for hotel bars.
The staff is well trained and helpful. Clean room and it's close to Epcot. There is a great buffet at the Swan which is a short walk.
Prices for food n drinks way too much. $6.25 for a miller lite $12.00 for house wine n $23.99 for breakfast buffet way too high.
Easy access to Epcot and Disney Parks. Nice Facility.
The hotel is undergoing some renovations, our hall was a little musty.
Small 24 hour cafe on 1st floor nice but way over priced for what you get!
I felt like there was a small fee for everything that just got ridiculous. Guest services should be Guest No-services.
The location relative to the boardwalk and Epcot is excellent.
The hotel is very nice but just not on the opulence scale on the inside as the deluxe level Disney properties since it is Starwood and managed under a different reboot schedule etc.
The parking for my friend in that neiborthood to visit me couple hours. I have to paid to much for my friend to visit me for two hours.
We stayed there because of the Disney Princess 1/2 marathon. The location was excellent and the accommodations were perfect! Can't wait to stay there again!
The staff was friendly and kind. The room was clean and comfortable.
Nothing. Everything was perfect.
The scenery, the furnishings, and the the location is great! We had a very pleasant stay!
Paying for parking
superior facilities and location.
no free wifi, $20 per day outdoor parking and $200 per night. Really?
Location and enjoyed the food and staff at the fountain.
House keeping didn't take out used water bottle and didn't leave a clean bag for ice.
price of parking, and food prices. $35 for hamburger and fries is a little much
Most staff were nice.
One staffer at the ice cream shop was downright rude and totally disinterested. We also discovered at the airport that this particular Disney resort is not owned by Disney so no free shuttle.$80 for taxi! Bad smell in hallways .
Can walk to Epcot
Not a disney resort like I thought, so you don't use the wristbands which are very convenient. Also there are so many fees! You pay a resort fee and then a parking fee everyday your car is parked their, usually a resort fee covers parking.
I enjoyed the proximity to Epcot and other Disney experiences. Employees were helpful and generally knowledgeable. The Mandara Spa was excellent (if a bit pricey). The overall "feel" for the week was quite relaxing. I will return.
It took me a couple of days to find everything in the design which felt like a maze at first. I ate at wonderful restaurants - Shulas, Bluezoo, Il Mulino . . . I just would have liked a few "lower end" choices. Unlike other world class places I've stayed, they could not change Dollars to Euros for my next travel venue . . . I had to get ripped off at the airport.
Staff very at attentive to your needs.
It is clean and comfortable
I do not expect to be charged for wifi , or bottled water or parking! It was already pricey enough !
Our experience last year was better this year .. and not if you have booked a stellar rate with Booking, we were assigned a room looking at garages and service accesses ... Alert .. rate exceeded 200 US $ per day .but the hotel is good in terms of its location ... hopefully for our coming assigned us a better room
Friendly, clean, upbeat hotel. Bustling business for the Holiday weekend. Place was packed. Surrounding hotels packed as well.
Overall the trip was marred with the failure of the hotel to provide the promised check in time. We were to receive a text announcing when our room would be ready. After phoning in, I was promised a call when the room would be ready. I never got any text or call. Third attempt at 5 pm got the room ready. With 2 small kids in need of rest and a shower it crushed us.
