price went with place, comfortable and clean
Free parking. Horseshoe setup parking lot so you can see your car; good since the area is sketchy at night. Room seemed pretty clean although it was run down.
Hotel was pretty gross and sketchy. Shady characters hanging around there. Damage to walls, no wash rags, stains all over ceilings, walls and floors...generally just old and run-down. Pool and breakfast are a joke. Breakfast included a loaf of bread, a gallon of milk, and a box of off-brand corn flakes on a table. Just cough up the extra 30 bucks and parking to stay somewhere nicer... even motel 6 is nicer.
Location was fine.
The staff was horrible. The reception/breakfast room consists of 3 small tables, there's barely place to sit at breakfast for 10 people. Breakfast consists of toasts, coffee and butter/jam if you are there early (ones the butter was over). Plus, cereals. That is. The bed smelled really bad and the windows in the room were so thin that it didn't feel safe at all.
1. Noisy 2. Not enough table for breakfast 3. Pour breakfast
The staff is really nice and the position is great
Everything was bad apart staff and position
We wouldn't recommend this motel/hotel at all. They did show us a room before we checked in. We decided to take a loss on the prepaid room and look for other accomodations. It was very rundown and dirty. We passed an open room that looked like squatters had taken over. I would have safety concerns staying anywhere in this area.
location and clean room. good internet access.
appearance of pool. a bit dirty. but I never use a pool. I live in California.
Free wifi and parking.
The hotel seems to be a little worn out.
Room smelled and the place was run down.
The location was good for what I needed to see and do.
It was fine there were no towels at check-in. I requested them when I returned from the day's activities. Returned to the room, and no TV remote. I asked the male working the front desk (evening) about it and his comment was very rude. Not only will I NEVER stay here again, I will make sure to let everyone know via internet that service is poor and this hotel is not recommended.
The location was great. Service was nice. All in all it's just an ordinary hotel to check out if you're just going to sleep there
Very old room. Noisy. Weird smell. Poor breakfast.
Very old and not clean. The dust on the tile in the bathroom was 1/2 an inch thick
Besides price, Location is why we choose this hotel. It's within walking distance of our concert venue (3/4 mile tops to Nokia) Plus it offered free parking! The neighborhood surrounding isn't the best, but you're in close proximity to the Nokia theater, Staples and some great bars & restaurants! I'll say that we loved the slightly run down, vintage feel of this place, but it does somewhat look like a good horror film could be filmed there!
It really is very basic, when I arrived our room only had one towel, no washcloth, just one towel. Upon asking at the front desk however I was given two more. There is also a $10 charge for parking for a second vehicle, but since we weren't paying for taxi or parking at our concert this was acceptable to us. Also be prepared to leave a $20 key deposit as this hotel still uses actual room keys, not cards.
Staff No separate dining room for the breakfast No lobby Breakfast menu Very dirty rooms
The location was right down the street from the Metro line, so it was great to use the free parking, hop on the bus & not have to worry. We were headed to the Shrine & Expo Hall, so this was a great location to travel on the Metro for that. Free breakfast was minimal but still something, staff was nice & immediately got us our correct double bed room, after first giving us a queen single. Flat screen with HBO. Pretty nice beds.
$20 cash key deposit was a little silly, although I understand why they do this with hotels that still use actual keys. The neighborhood was mostly commercial buildings, didn't really run into any shady people while we were there.
Place of hotel
Room and breakfast
Location, wifi, free parking
Cold coffee, nowhere to sit and no juice
A very basic hotel with no frills.
The guy at reception
Smelt like an old mans armpits and that was the deluxe room. The second room was not much better
Location. Close to where I needed to go.
Old and run down. Carpets worn out years ago. Guest in room above was moving around all night making thumping sounds on the floor. No ice machine.
