The Luxor is a very neat place to stay in Vegas. We have stayed at several of the hotels on the strip and this one ranks among the best. The layout of the hotel and rooms is great and we especially liked the fact that we could eat breakfast in the food court at a reason price.
Its at the far end of the strip but its not like you can see every place walking anyway. Good connection to the Excalibur and Mandalay and easy to get to New York New York.
Room was large and lovely.
no WIFI in room
Loved the hotel. Went to the amazing Bodies exhibition. Lots to do and never boring. Am already planning to stay on my next trip.
strip hotel, good location, close to the airport, clean rooms, friendly staff, good beds
no general availability of umbrellas at the pool (limited available through cabanas for premium space), no lockers at the pool (bad for solo travellers)
Too far down the strip and decor and bathrooms need modernising
Liked the hotel rates & the friendly staff. I found the hotel to be conveniently located for my needs.
No fridge in the room. But I can see why & I managed.
Location, beds, price
No coffee maker in room
We enjoyed the uniqueness of the place and facilities.
We decided to get the whole day buffet but when we returned there was not much difference on brunch and dinner. When we arrived around 1:00pm fried chicken was hard not freshly fried, the line on the other side is faster than where we're at..and for dinner area floor was dirty on carpet..waiters looked seemed tired..
Friendly staff and cleanliness. Good location, away from the crowd and close enough to everything.
Could walk to shopping & dining on the strip. Could walk inside to other MGM hotels to shop & dine. Hotel decor was great.
Convenient and close to the airport. Room was a little out of date but was clean and comfort. Good variety of restaurants, shows and attractions.
Room smelled like someone had smoked in it when we first walked in. We had requested a non-smoking room.
This hotel is beautiful. Accommodations were very clean, great condition, comfortable, and different. Loved the pyramid soap, and hieroglyphics on furniture in room. All staff was very helpful and super friendly.
Staff professional, friendly and very accommodating
Restaurants should be easy accessible. Should have a Coffee Shop type of restaurant open 24 hours.
The valet Justin handled a sticky situation very well and was friendly he made my welcome to the luxor good.
The room was very shabby and in desperate need of renovation. The repairs done to the room where bad there was mildew in the bathroom, paint coming off the ceiling, broken plugs and other smaller things like wallpaper coming off and broken a desk. I wanted to order a bottle of wine up to the room for which i would have had to wait 45min. I choose to just go have a glass of wine somewhere else.
Bathroom equipment needs servicing, ie broken bath tap.
I didn't like to pay extra for an early check-in. If the room is ready before check in time, you should not charge the guest unless is an upgrade. I don't think you give money back to guests if they check out early.
The staff were all friendly and helpful.
For one night of our stay we had noisy drunken people in the room next door until 4am, although this was no fault of the hotel.
HAD AN INJURY....NEEDED A LATE CHECK-OUT....NO PROBLEM. Amazing.
Good location.Breakfast buffet excellent.Large clean room.
Check in long queues
THE FOOD WAS AMAZING .. GOOD SHOWS.. ROOM WAS CLEAN AND CONFI
I CAN'T SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT IT
The beds were very comfortable.
For the money I missed having a tub to soak in, a fridge to put my leftovers in and a microwave for warming them back up.
The pillows wow
