I loved that it was in the middle of downtown, everything is walking distance. People are very friendly here, valet parking was extremely nice to have. Overall, I had a blast!
Elevators were very slow!
Loved the service from the valet to the maid service. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel really special. It was a great experience. We do not get to do this often and we wanted to make the best of it. I feel like we made a good choice.
Very poor Wi-Fi even with the code my husbands lap top would not connect. My IPAD connected without problems. Also we had requested a bottle of wine to be delivered and we inquired about it, the issue was never resolved. We wanted it to celebrate our anniversary with.
Staff & valet were nice and efficient. The room was clean and I slept like a baby. My fiancé and I were celebrating my birthday and were able to walk downtown to several spots!
Everything - really couldn't fault it. The Magnolia is a beautiful hotel with great facilities. The room was spacious and very comfortable, the view was fabulous and who can resist the milk and cookie buffet. There is also a great gym to work off any overindulgence. Highly recommend this hotel.
The breakfast was very good. A lot of choices and fresh. The guys looking after luggage and door service were always friendly as was reception. Really enjoyed our stay.
Great hotel, the room was lovely, the view was spectacular. We had a wonderful time.
Breakfast was great.
Too dark and gloomy every where.
I liked the happy hour and Cookies and milk. Loved the breakfast .
Just wished I had gotten my wine upon arrival . I also called to remind you . I was charged for wine which you took off my bill when I left bc I never got it! I will stay again sometime soon .
No warning about huge convention crowds
Very friendly staff Buffet breakfast, happy hour and cookies & milk were excellent value and most enjoyable
WiFi was somewhat unstable
I loved the complimentary cookies at night and the valet parking. The valet staff was courteous and always got our car very quickly. Hope to stay again soon!!!
Pretty much everything! Specially how nice people were!
Shower pressure wasn't good but this is a small detail! I hated that the cookies and milk were only 'til 10pm! We arrived at 10 after partying and it was all gone :(
Big comfortable room, breakfast and happy hour drinks.
Location isn't really near anything. Guess that's just downtown for you.
The Queen Suite was great! Plenty of room and very comfortable!
The noise from the street was pretty, but it was downtown Dallas on a Saturday night.
No king size beds available
The location downtown and all the extras at the hotel..cookies, bar, and breakfast. You can also get a relaxing massage in your room. The rooms are so large and spacious, with wonderful views of downtown Dallas.
The elevators are slow during 6-9 and 5-7. But met nice people while waiting!
Free wifi, free drinks at happy hour, great location.
I really like the motel, but staffs in front desk up in breakfast room really need a very good skills, example I called from my room thrice nobody answer or bother calling back, management is very poor or tricky don't say on reservations there will be be valley parking?! $25 per nite is quite bit chunk but anyway is just no one really care once here. You are own your own. Special staffs in front desk they are rude in some how.
Did like gimmicks
Upgrade option was nice. Room size was great and staff was extremely friendly.
Issues with the elevators but that was addressed at check-in and all was good.
The overall experience was amazing. Met a lot of great people and the staff is amazing. Will be coming back here again to experience this great place.
Nothing, everything was awesome
the view was great exactly what i was looking for
when we got there we took our luggage up to our room without any help and we had quite a few, however i don't know if it was after hrs but no one helped with our luggage upon arrival
The room we had was great. Views fantastic.
You couldn't get hold of anyone from desk. The service in general wasn't bad, but it wasn't great.
great location, nice room and good value for money
I booked a single queen size bedroom. Checked in and they gave us a double queen bedroom. Addressed the manager about our room having two queen beds which we didn't want and was told that it was Booking.coms fault. Argued with the manager for a long while and was told that out of the 25 story building, there wasn't any rooms available with one queen bed like we had booked. After arguing back and forth the manager agreed to knock off $75 of the total for that night. Manager lied once again and I was charged the full $146 and some change. Overall I expected the place to be professional and address the situation like any other hotel would. I'm sure other people will rant and rave over the place but not me. My experience at The Magnolia sucked. And on another note. My girlfriend found a pair of boxers under one of the beds while she was looking for an ear ring she had dropped. Who knows if they were dirty or not we didn't want to find out.
