Length of time at concierge desk to buy tickets
Michael Jackson One show
Pool area and everything overall.
Loved the property. Good food and entertainment options.
Carpet needs to be cleaned , rooms need updating- need better music in the elevators -
lobby, outdoor area, people, staff. Staff was friendly and professional
Absolutely no complaints!
Our complete stay was wonderful! I have no complaints and would gladly stay at Mandalay Bay again. I would like to give some recognition to a concierge, Tess Davis. She went over and beyond to help book our couples resort package at the spa. Tess also sent us up to our room a bottle of champagne and a Congratulations card. We really appreciated that.
Drinks were expensive.
Daylight beach club was a blast.
Breakfast buffet terrible food selection
Scott Morisato at the pool
The guy who meets you outside at the front of the hotel was very ignorant and rude. The meals are all overpriced for the quality. The person seating us at the resturant was rude. I was 10 feet from valet and they made me drive all the way around to valet the car.
The rooms had a nice layout and the front desk clerk was nice.
We didn't get the room we booked and were 'upgraded' to a suite but the room was quite sparse and not luxurious. The WiFi was free throughout but was constantly dropping out. Mandalay Bay does feel on the edge of the strip and can be quiet.
The free tram to Luxor and Excalibur was useful and therefore felt quite close to New York New York as well.
Too far to walk down the strip to the Linq or Bellagio, Shake Shack etc. need to run the monorail further also we were told we had a pool view but on the 31st floor your view is the airport. It was noisy by the airport
The pool but the music was too loud
There was a dance floor in the facility.
Check in took over an hour Hotel added additional room charges above those quoted by booking.com because the hotel was busy
Nice rooms and facilities
Everything excellent stay
The casino smelt of air freshener to cover up cigarette smell. Also had to walk through gambling area with kids to get anywhere.
pools, location handy and away from very busy middle of strip which was good.
It is a bummer to have to listen to drunk people stumbling down the hall at all hours of the night while you and kids are trying to sleep. My real disappointment was the check out time-11:00am is pretty early. My husband was golfing and was not going to be back until 11:30 and I called and literally begged to check out one hour later and was told no. I explained I had kids and about the golf and was told we could leave our bags at the bellman desk and sit in lobby or outside. If we went to pool, we could change in the bathroom or in the spa only if we were over 18 AND we would have to pay to do so. Pretty disappointing. I was tempted to just let my kids run wild in the lobby just as punishment to the hotel. I understand that the hotel was full, but I was only requesting an extra hour. Would likely not stay there again because of he callous nature in which my request was addressed.
This was a great hotel for the daytime. The pool area was awesome for kids. The room was very clean and nice.
The "free" wifi was terrible. As a parent of two kids having wifi is important during down time and we never could connect.
I liked that the hotel was family friendly. The kids enjoyed the beach/pool areas and found the hotel easy to get around.
Waited over an hour just to get to the check in desk. Only 3 -4 check in people with at least 12 check in computers empty. Had a problem with my booking which they said was Booking.com's fault and took over 30 mins to resolve. No tissues in bathroom, iron didn't get hot, blinds didn't close properly, heating in bedroom didn't work properly .... and so on. The list is endless. Directions to self parking not clear and misleading.
Pool was decent. Michael Jackson One show was brilliant. Great window overlooking the strip. Very comfortable bed. Not too smoky in the casino (even though we didn't gamble you had to walk through it to get anywhere). Tram to Luxor and Excalibur was great.
No in room coffee.
The Jacuzzi was dirty.
The wave pool.
Overbooked hotel and put us up at the Luxor which was very dirty. Front desk staff at Mandalay were rude and not very helpful. Very stressful 2 days with small children
The parking vallet away full so set
The room cleaner good job
Breakfast was slow and meal was average.
Great experience, even won some money!!!
Excellent & accommodating staff.
Upon check in were provided incorrect room type, had difficulty with staff getting it addressed. Prices a bit high for food. Pool is outstanding and family friendly, however restaurants and eating options were not what I would consider family friendly menus.
Management was willing to address our concerns to satisfy us when we had logistical and service issues
Hotel was overbooked and we had to get rebooked with an up charge.
