눉The "deluxe room" we booked for $203 a night, during 6 nights, prepaid and no refund, was a dark little interior room facing to a dark tiny light well covered with dove dropings and feathers, and next to the window was the most noisy elevator engine you can imagine. Incredibly loud, you could hear it every 5 minutes, and eventually late in the night. Lying in bed, you could feel like resting in the utility room.
When we asked to move to an exterior room, they told us it wasn't possible. They would ask the manager and call us back, what they never did.
The included breakfast is not really a breakfast: you have bread, butter and jelly, orange juice, bananas, cereals and coffee, and four tables to sit in a small room. If you don't hurry, you will eat it standing on your feet next to the toaster.
Different from other motels, this one doesn't offer microwaves, coffe, refrigerator, AC or parking. You have the dark room and a noisy fan.
About the location, it's not a bad neighborhood, but appart from a park there's nothing to see, and you will need transportation to go everywhere (bus is ok). Anyway it's a quiet place, but even if you like Marina, you have dozens of Motels to choose in the same street (Lombard) with parking. Try any of them before.
Marina Inn is the worst value for money found in 20 days of travel through the USA. It can ruin your stay in a beautyful city. Keep looking for a better place to stay.
눇Nothing. Horrible hotel.
