Room was so cute and clean. We were over the street so it was pretty loud. I would stay there again.
Everything was clean and very comfy I felt just like home, their was no noises coming in from the street I was very pleased.
PARKING! wish they had parking but the garage is only 3 blocks away and it's cheap for overnight, so it's not bad either.
Location, rustic charm
Even though everything in the room are very old and poor, it was surprisingly comfortable. Free breakfast is humble but enough. The best quality of Marina inn is it's reasonable price.
There were no fridge, no coffeepot, no air conditioner.
Great adorable room with a nice view.
The temperature change of the water in the shower. The blinds in my room did not work properly, called the front desk about it, told me there was a trick to closing them but still didn't work.
breakfast smell in the room old
The staff is great specially Usha she helped us so much. Showed us how to get faster to places and took care of us in many ways... I would like to send a million kudos to her... Thank you Usha you won the Internet today :)
The noises of the elevator and the strong smell of cleaning products
Good hotel near to the center, clean and comfortable room. I did not have any problem finding a spot for a car but it was Sunday and you could park without parking restrictions. I would stay again if I can back here. thanks
I wish it was a bit cheaper but it's ok
staffs are friendly and accommodating I like the place cow its peaceful
it's just an old place .. Need to change toilet bowl and carpet .. Maybe they need to renovate
Parking is a nightmare. Drove for a hour before finding a spot. Continental breakfast is more of a snack. If ur looking for a decent breakfast your going out.
clean, friendly, near the beach.
The hotel is a very good alternative for the very expensive hotels around Fisherman's Warff. Just expect a good hotel for your price !
very nicely decorated, clean, good location- great value for money- surprised!
Not much although the bed was pretty good
Dirty. Need a good makeover and deep cleaning
Loved the local neighbourhood but still only around a 15 min walk to Fishermans Wharf Big room, fast internet, good TV selection
Perhaps it was a bit noisy as room faced the main road. Breakfast was good but same every day. Did us though
When you step into the room, you see the lovely wall paper, the GIANT mirror which was awesome. Bed was comfy along with the ledge where you can sit and read. Really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it. They also had a continental breakfast which was great with eggs, yogurt and toast. Would definitely come back if I'm back in SF.
The price, the staff, and the location were great! "Free Breakfast" was actually, "Free Continental Breakfast"
The room seemed very old and there seemed to be minimal attention of the details such as stains, fixtures, rust in the bathrooms, etc...etc. Other than that, we can't complain since the price was so low compared to the other hotels around the area. Lastly, they should say "Free Continental Breakfast" instead of "Free Breakfast".
Location and wifi
Heating cannot be adjusted in room (central to entire building). Small room facing the constant sun plus the heating that staff will not turn off = sweltering, misery of sweat even on the coldest days with window open!! Other rooms "may" be fine, but they refused to move us!
Great location. Really have no complaints!!! I would deff go back!
The room was clean.
I don't know why but in my room they have two colors of lighting for the bathroom, white and RED. Red light really freaked me out coz it was really creepy when it was turned on. Also they place a big mirror next to my bed... Which is also really weird to me and I didnt feel comfortable sleeping such big mirror. The thing that I didn't like the most was the noise at midnight! During my stay, the room next to mine was really really really noisy because somehow they worked, like fixing the room or thing like that, at 2am! I couldn't even sleep.
The historical look
I did not like that there was no parking. It ruined our trip and we left early losing money on two nights because it was so unbearable.
Staff was friendly and very helpful. location was convenient. very cozy and nice. i'll be returning again.
the nats, but other than that i wasn't really bothered by anything.
Unfortunately, we were there during a storm. Power went out, but this made our room feel cozier. We had breakfast with the light of dawn, which gave it even more of a nice Old English feel. I wish I had stayed in a better time for a more accurate review, but if you're in San Francisco during a storm, this may be the place to stay. Drawback: There is no parking.
It would be better if it had parking.
Location and neighborhood
Parking is inconvenient.
Fairly close to fishermen ward. But still need 20 min walk.
I didn't get the room I booked online, which said room was 20 square meters but the one I get actually only around 12 square meters. The facilities in room were old and poor. There is a small fly in my room..... Breakfast not have many choices. Very few tables. If u book here , don't come with any expectations otherwise u might disappoint. If u spend just 20 or 30 dollar more, u will get much better choices in San Francisco.
