I order 2 rooms 1 king & 1 double Got stuck with 2 doubles
Great location, comfortable accommodations, courteous staff
PRICE, not happy I wasn't offered champagne like other guests checking in
The staff, the location, the many facilities available. Everyone truly seemed eager to help, starting with a wonderful Friday-Saturday chambermaid. And the pool is the perfect temperature.
I accept high room prices, especially in downtown Philadelphia, and the room was clean and nice. But over $50 (with tax) for our breakfast and asking $12.95 for an internet most give for free was gouging. They were resented.
when we got to the room, we found that there was still water in the tub, either from the last guests, and there was a dried used wash cloth in the shower from the guests who stayed before us. This made us think, what else did the cleaning people not clean before we got there.
Friendly courteous people
The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and the room spacious. Our only complaint about the stay was the sub-par breakfast in the restaurant.
The buffet was quite lacking. The "hot" food was merely lukewarm and was quite bland.
No free wi f
Good central location and clean rooms
The valet system was horribly inefficient and overpriced for the service. Staff was nice but it took forever to get the car. The front desk staff seemed like they didn't know much about operations and we had a safety alarm go off at 2 am in our rooms. When we called down and then mentioned it again in the morning, staff acted like this was no big deal and happened all the time. They said that someone just "pulled an alarm". We lost an hour of sleep over the stupid flashy alarm.
excellent location, really comfortable
freezing water at the sink
So close to reading terminal which is awesome! the Train station is right there, this Hotel is centrally located!!!
Conveniently located near the train station. It was nice that a Starbucks was part of the hotel.
I was disappointed because I had requested a room away from the elevator and ice machine. The room was near both. The bed pillow was too firm for me.
We had to pay for WiFi
I received a double bed room for my anniversary with my husband not a king bed. The room was quoted one price but charged the complete wrong price after we had left. When I called about it no one got back to me like I was told they would.
The lack of communication, from the room we were given, to the price we were charged, and the complete lack of urgency to fix the problem and what we were charged. Never again will we stay at a Marriott!
Location is good for exploring the city. The 50 dollar discount I got when I complained about the fact that our bathroom had not been clean was a good effort to make up for it.
Bathroom was not clean. When I imformed staff about this, I was promised that it would be taken care off. But when we got back from diner, the bathroom had not been cleaned. Having to pay for wifi in a hotel like this is silly.
location to Philly downtown-particularly being next to Reading Market
Arrived on Christmas eve afternoon. Front desk person could not find booking reservation, gave is wrong room -needed handicap accessible room, TV did not work and did not get fixed timely when requested, took long time to answer phone
Location is excellent, staff and comfort are great. There is a pool for family as well. Brakfast was great.
My child could open the door from the inside and go to the hallway, there should be a way to look securely the doors from inside. My boy is 2 y/o. Finally the king bed room doent fit 2 adults and 2 young kids at all. That's why I ended up picking the 2 beds room which met my needs.
It was a beautiful hotel while perfectly located right in the center city.
I overall liked everything, it was just a little pricey for just a weekend stay.
Location a bonus and consistent Marriott service.
Premium prices for good but not exceptional rooms. Hotel lifts are very slow and therefore In high demand. Expect multiple stops if you're on a high floor. Restaurant good but location makes it a noisy thoroughfare.
Bartenders In 13 were very friendly. The cleaning staff were very nice. Everybody was great.
- Concierge Michael recommended a restaurant that turned out to be amazing. Thanks!
- I waited over 5 minutes for an elevator down to check out, and nearly missed my train as a result. Better elevator optimization during rush hour is needed. - There's a lack of quiet places to sit and talk with business colleagues. All available sitting areas were noisy, with muzak etc.
The beds were incredible. Luxurious and comfortable.
The front desk associate was rude and impatient. The parking was expensive and difficult to get into and out of. The price for the service and trouble it took us to get into and out of the place was not comparable to other downtown Marriotts. Way to expensive for the quality of service and parking. Maid knocked then came in without waiting for an answer and was rude on top of that!!!
very efficient check-in/check-out.could check in early, that was a plus since we walked from the Septa stop with our luggage.convient location with attractions(historical, restaurants, market, museums) within walking distance.nice room, very comfortable.
only toiletry item was a bar of soap.we were staying only one night so didn't bother inquiring about it.
Convient passage to the Convention center great place to meet friends in the lobby bar
No free wi-fi in the rooms. View on rooftop even on the 16th floor
Their "Premium" rooms required you to move up an escalator, through a private event, across a bridge and through another private event to get to your room!
