Whenever we travel our first preference is always a Marriott. We arrived early and we did not have to wait for a room. We also ordered an early breakfast for a specific time and it arrived on time. Can't wait to go back.
Very bad internet access. Restaurant not very pleasant. Very small pool.
Good location, close to Reading Market and other tourist sites.
Very expensive for what is offered.
Staff was friendly. Hotel had access to the convention center, which was convenient for walking to and from event during cold weather.
Pool water was ICE cold. Not pleasurable at all, which was disappointing because the pool facility was one of the reasons we chose this hotel over others. Not sure why they didn't turn the heat on earlier so that it would be fit for use.
Location, convenience. The only staff that we found to actually have a personality and be friendly were the valet and bellhop service. Everyone else seemed like zombies.
Business center has kinkos. Not full service.
Comfort and location
Hotel had skywalk to the Convention Center. We were able to check in early and valet service was excellent! The Gentlemen helping were very friendly and set the mood for our stay.
I loved the view of City Hall from our room. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was quite helpful. Great value for luxury accommodations!
Convenient place for the flower show.
Broken ice machine on the 10th floor. Other people found one on the 23rd floor When we got there it was impossible to turn into the driveway to park. There was a line and we ended up riding around and finding parking 3 blocks away. Lots were full!
I liked the valet parking option. I was also pleased to have the rooms reassigned to be next to each other eventhough I booked through a third party.
I order 2 rooms 1 king & 1 double Got stuck with 2 doubles
Great location, comfortable accommodations, courteous staff
PRICE, not happy I wasn't offered champagne like other guests checking in
The staff, the location, the many facilities available. Everyone truly seemed eager to help, starting with a wonderful Friday-Saturday chambermaid. And the pool is the perfect temperature.
I accept high room prices, especially in downtown Philadelphia, and the room was clean and nice. But over $50 (with tax) for our breakfast and asking $12.95 for an internet most give for free was gouging. They were resented.
when we got to the room, we found that there was still water in the tub, either from the last guests, and there was a dried used wash cloth in the shower from the guests who stayed before us. This made us think, what else did the cleaning people not clean before we got there.
Friendly courteous people
The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and the room spacious. Our only complaint about the stay was the sub-par breakfast in the restaurant.
The buffet was quite lacking. The "hot" food was merely lukewarm and was quite bland.
No free wi f
Good central location and clean rooms
The valet system was horribly inefficient and overpriced for the service. Staff was nice but it took forever to get the car. The front desk staff seemed like they didn't know much about operations and we had a safety alarm go off at 2 am in our rooms. When we called down and then mentioned it again in the morning, staff acted like this was no big deal and happened all the time. They said that someone just "pulled an alarm". We lost an hour of sleep over the stupid flashy alarm.
excellent location, really comfortable
freezing water at the sink
So close to reading terminal which is awesome! the Train station is right there, this Hotel is centrally located!!!
Conveniently located near the train station. It was nice that a Starbucks was part of the hotel.
I was disappointed because I had requested a room away from the elevator and ice machine. The room was near both. The bed pillow was too firm for me.
We had to pay for WiFi
I received a double bed room for my anniversary with my husband not a king bed. The room was quoted one price but charged the complete wrong price after we had left. When I called about it no one got back to me like I was told they would.
The lack of communication, from the room we were given, to the price we were charged, and the complete lack of urgency to fix the problem and what we were charged. Never again will we stay at a Marriott!
Location is good for exploring the city. The 50 dollar discount I got when I complained about the fact that our bathroom had not been clean was a good effort to make up for it.
Bathroom was not clean. When I imformed staff about this, I was promised that it would be taken care off. But when we got back from diner, the bathroom had not been cleaned. Having to pay for wifi in a hotel like this is silly.
