No free wifi in room ,beds sunk in the middle
Luxury, good location, nice view.
Location Room/ clean good size, bed comfort excellent
Elevator/ waited a very long time/ crowded
The size of the Room was big for NY! The great View of Time Square The sitting area in the room Service Location especially if seeing a play.
Had to pay for WiFi Sometimes Elevators were hard to get. Sometimes Taxi Service hard to get
We loved the location of this hotel. Literally steps away from Times Square central!!!! Busy hotel, but only to be expected given it's size and location. We went to Crossroads restaurant and food was good. Had a room service meal one night and this was also good. Had no major problems with lifts although they did get quite busy a couple of times. Construction did not cause any issues at all. Well stocked shop on 8th Floor. Found our floor to be nice and quiet and never bothered by noise. Decent checkout time of 12pm. All in all about what we expected from a 4* hotel
Fold out bed was extremely uncomfortable (kids slept on it) We asked for extra blankets to put down to try and stop springs digging into them. Exhaust fan in bathroom never turns off and is very loud. Bathroom is very basic with a very shallow bath (not uncommon in US hotels) We had a fridge in our room but it was never very cold - cool(ish) but never cold. Coffee machine (which we used for hot water) spat water all over the place - not a major issue but steer clear when it's on!!! Bit pricey for what you get but it IS New York and the location is great.
Great location...wonderful room...love the bed. From check in to check out! Fantastic experience!
They debit the room price twice from my visa!! Still waiting for them for clarification. The room service never pick up the phone.
Great location. Friendly and helpful personal. Spacious room.
Having to pay for Internet access for such a high quality hotel. No fridge or microwave in room.
Time square view, view restaurant, front desk, house keeping
Comfortable rooms and great food in participating restaurants on 8th floor.
1) The hotel location is good. 2) The room is big, clean & comfortable 3) The toilet is clean.
Since it is a 5 stars & expensive hotel, the hotel should provide free Wifi to the room.
Central location. Room was spacious and view over Times Square was fantastic.
The elevators took forever. We were on the top floor which was lovely but there was no quick getaway. Sometimes it took 19 minutes to get from the foyer to our room. Also the food in the restaurants was expensive and second rate.
We could walk to the theaters, great restaurants, Macy's, Times Square, and Radio City Music Hall.
The plug in our bathroom wouldn't hold the hair dryer and one person had to hold it in while the other used the dryer,
We liked the location of the hotel including the high floor and Times Square view. Worth paying more for it. Room was a good size as well.
We had zero hot water on our first morning. Cold showers not so fun! Pretty expensive considering the amount of time you're actually in your room, and the room itself isn't so spectacular. Lots of lumps and bumps in the carpet. Sofa bed quite lumpy.
Not clean Bad staff Expensive No committment to reservation type
Location was excellent for the conference.Staff were friendly.
Toilets did not flush well in our room and the bath water didn't drain well. Called multiple times to service desk to get someone to fix the problem. One day they ran out of hot water in the morning. Couldnt shower till 9 am. Wifi didnt work in the common areas. Very poor quality of service for 700$ /night.
location as conference hotel, safe, lovely staff
No bottled water in the bedroom, Very expensive, shower hot water unreliable, coldest conference center ever attended, gratuity requested as well as 18% service charge
Location and excellent 'The View' restaurant.
Sometimes a long wait for elevators and no free wi-fi when paying $1100 a night is just outrageous.
If you EVER want to have a spectacular view of Times Square, you must stay here! Traveling with my wife and her mother, we were absolutely blown away with the Times Square view room. The location is central to many walkable points of interest. One of the main Subway transfer lines is only a couple blocks away. Although I felt the bed was average, my wife and mother-in-law were extremely pleased. This could be because I'm a bit taller than 6 feet. So sharing a double bed with my wife was more challenging.
Initially, the idea of having separate elevators taking guests to different floor locations seemed brilliant. Unfortunately, it seemed as though only 1 or 2 elevators ran for the entire South or North wings of the elevator bank. Often times we would wait for 2-3 min. on an elevator. Additionally, the bathrooms and guest rooms felt generic and commonplace. Although well kept. $33 for the breakfast buffet should one desire to have an all-inclusive morning meal. Although the staff was helpful, no one seemed to go out of their way to assist you. I believe the value for the price paid to be fair but not exceptional. Taxes included, $3200 for December 10 through December 13.
Staff Location Lobby Restaurant Gym
Room decor Insufficient bed size Public Tiolets in lobby
I can describe it in two words: EXCELLENT HOTEL
The fee for wifi
Location, staff and atmosphere in General was fantastic ! Getting broadway tickets at hotel was perfect ! Service and desire to assist you in any way was much appreciated.
Having to pay for wifi in room. Wish you could get just a couple hours at a time. Only in the room at night and had to pay for 24 hours of wifi to ck and send emails for business back home.
Jackhammer during the night of Dec 8.
The Fact we booked with one rate & upon check out was 150.- more! Not including tax!
