Manager was very rude, couldn't figure out the wifi password and when I went to call the office it just rang and rang. Bed was uncomfortable and hardly any channels to watch on the tv.
Newly remodeled, clean and good size TV

Some of the other guest were a bit noisy and we did not have an iron to iron our clothes.
I was pleasantly surprise to see the room. It had been recently painted and a new tile floor had been installed. The beds also appeared to be new. Not bad for what we paid for.

All was great.
Great staff and a great spacious room for 4 adults. Great area and plenty of shops and dining options close by. Will definitely recommend.

The pictures of the rooms on the site are not the rooms available anymore. The first 2QB room came only with 1 chair and 2 beds, no space to swing a cat. The lady behind reception was not really friendly and accommodating at all. The free breakfast was served in the reception area where there was no facility to sit and eat it. Only consisted of packaged sweet goods. Outside of rooms was very unclean. Not a good experience compared to where else we stayed on our trip in USA.

they were rude & the room was the size of a closet
Location & bed

Room was clean and recently renovated, BUT awfully tiny !! I'm an average sized person and it was very cramped quarters .

We found out that latch or lock to the front window of your hotel room is missing or has been broken off Therefore, it couldn't be locked at all. We slept on the 2nd floor so for both night, I kept the bedroom window opened to allow fresh air into the room. But I got disturbed or was awaken on both night after 2 AM by noise like broken glass bottles threw by people or residents behind the hotel. I had to close the window to be able to fall back to sleep again. I think the breakfast food and drinks need to be of variety and better.
I like that the room is big, even with a private bedroom. The room has tile floor through out and it's very clean. The light works pretty good and you can adjust the brightness of it. The room is equipped with a microwave and small fridge. The front of the hotel rooms are pretty lit up with light at night and it seems safe.

Just cookies n tea for Breakfast
There cant be a better a place in terms of distance to stay next to Hollywood universal studios
April 14, 2015
Lots of bums outside and parking is really tight.
Close to universal studios! free shuttle! The rooms are a lot better than expected! Affordable!

Parking VERY tight, don't be shocked if your car gets a dint. Our room had 2 full beds for up to 4 guest, but we were only given two of each bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth...asked for no smoking area right outside our room was a full ash tray mounted on the wall.
Very close to univesal studios, just one short block to the free shuttle that drives you up the hill. Room pertty much updated, I liked that there are no carpets! (Last cheap motel we stayed at carpet was black in high traffic areas.)

Front desk manager was leery & very undesirable guests. I was scared to stay there with my young daughter. The bed sheet was stained, the room so small u could barely walk it it, only room for the bed & a chair. No cable tv... The tv got 6 stations... 3 of which were in Spanish. Save yourself the time & discomfort & pay extra to stay at the nearby Marriott or Sheraton. This place is horrible. I cancelled our 2nd nite there & went elsewhere. The continental breakfast was a packaged cookie & they don't make the coffee until 8 am. We were checked out & gone by then!!

Noisy group with kids yelling outside at 10:30 pm. We had to ask them to keep the noise down. Breakfast was minimal and not nutritious.
The location was perfect for walking to Universal, restaurants and grocery store

Wifi connection was weak

The parking lot is EXTREMELY small. Fits compact vehicles. We drove our Chevy Impala. But hey, we didn't have to pay for parking and we managed to park in the hotel parking lot. Also, wished there were fridges in the rooms. We had to ice the half gallon of milk for my son.
I reserved 1 Queen Bed room. It was My husband,my 1 year old, my 2 month old and myself. Room was particularly smaller than others I have reserved in the past BUT it was comfortable for all 4 of us. It was newly remodeled, very very clean. The staff was wonderful, the location was perfect. It is 2 blocks from Universal Studios shuttle that takes you up a very steep hill to Universal.I liked how it was also right off the freeway. There was a Chevron, subway,Carl's Jr, Fatburger and a liquor store next Door.

Owner are like guard dogs watching. No parking room space small. the shower is really small. And room service is a 5
Some what remodeled!
April 3, 2015
extremely pleasantly surprised! don't judge by the exterior! it could use a face lift but the rooms themselves have recently been re-done and they're beautiful and perfect for a park stay. highly recommend!

It's more like a motel.
Our room was very clean and remodeled.
March 29, 2015
Small parking spaces.
The cleanliness and upgraded rooms. Very nice!
March 28, 2015
The construction going on till 11pm at night and starting up again at 8am and the motel owners didn't care that people are trying to sleep
The location that's it
March 25, 2015
It was very loud: traffic noise, construction on rooms below us, and other guests talking loudly, partying outside our room. The hotel is located in a rough area. A man approached me in an "unwelcome" fashion in the parking lot, as I was getting belongings from the car. The room was very small and the cable TV was not hooked up.
Proximity to Universal Studios. The room had been redone.
March 24, 2015
I thought "breakfast" was breakfast not cookies and snacks, atleast even donuts might have been ok.
I liked how close it was to Universal Studios and the staff very friendly.
