Comfy beds, courteous staff, great food, convenient location, shuttle to the Bart. We travel to Oakland once a year for a Raiders game, we have tried other hotels but this is the one we always come back to for the excellent service and comfy, clean rooms!
Airport service to and from, secured parking area, helpful staff
Card keys difficulty accessing room & extra costs for second night during the week
Finally met a decent, happy employee at check-in. We arrived early/late to OAK (4am), which are normal hours for us when we travel. Though we've stayed here numerous times, this is the first time we met someone this pleasant and willing to help us get settled into a room before our flight. Thank you.
Nice, clean, have microwave
Everything about our stay was great. The front desk staff was very helpful when we used the computer room for acquiring our airline boarding pass for next morning flight.
Was close to our destination.
We were checked into a room that was not clean. There were hangers on the bed, the bed had been sat on, and there was an empty beer box on the floor. However, we were given a nice ... CLEAN room when we called the front desk. Also, unless you book through Red Lion, no breakfast included in the room rate. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant are 10.00 each.
I love staying here when I visit Oakland. We go once a year to attend the raiders football game and we always enjoy our stay at the red lion.
Our room is outside the hotel
The front desk girl
The wi-fi went out
Closer to the airport. Spacious room with a comfortable bed. Provided shuttle service from car rental agency to the hotel. Restaurant and bar inside the hotel.
Small glitch in that I waited 30 minutes to be picked up from rental car agency by hotel shuttle.
Location next to the raider game
Dirty room and bad maintenance serv
Stuff are not friendly.they are two third full at main tower but give us room in different bilding's..becouse we are guy. Shuttle drive did not say thank you after he got tip even I said thank you.
When I ordered the room it was for a 2 beds. When I arrived I was booked for a 1bd. Then I had to pay money for a cot.. Wasn't happy with that. Other than that it was fine
1. Super safe for solo female travellers- very decent crowd 2. Exquisitely decorated room 3. Free shuttle service to Walmart and BART station 4. Great front desk especially Robert 5. I even found an Indian restaurant nearby
Nice airport hotel Probably needs a makeover but we enjoyed our stay
Front desk staff is very nice. The room I had (306 on 2 occasions) in the main building was recently remodeled and very comfortable. The shower was very good. Overall the main building is far superior to the annex buildings.
The hallway and room I recently had in the annex/back building ( room 226, I think) smelled like bug spray and was not as nicely decorated. The bed cover was lumpy. The shower head did not function as well as the one in the main building. The spray was not easily adjusted. Quite a different experience in the two buildings.
Amount of pillows was good. Very comfortable beds.
2nd stay there. 1st time a blanket was on the foot of bed. The 2nd time there was not.
Free breakfast was not so great. Needed more staffing. Also the choices were very limited. The room smelled well used...
Front desk was very nice and helpful
Room smelled like smoke Beds were very hard
The staff was nice , good was great
No hot tub
Great location within the vicinity of the stadium and the hotel didn't bother a lot of us at night when we partied in the parking lot. Obviously the whole hotel must have been Raiders fans. This is my hotel of choice to stay at for now on when I come down for football games.
Pool area seemed a little outdated. Other than that, I would advise if your looking for peace and quiet during the football season, this may not be the hotel for you.
Location, cleanliness and shuttle service.Exercise was adequate,
Complimentary breakfast poor quality, too much emphasis on ethnic foods and staff cleared out buffet well before 0900 hrs.Buffet needs to run from 0600 to 0930 for folks to sleep in after trans-Pacific flights. For those with flights earlier than 0700 a prepared doggy bag would be a nice amenity as on day of departure one can't take advantage of breakfast.
The staff was nice. The manager did send someone up to clean & bring us towels since all we had were the ones left by the previous guest.
The beds were terrible, the bathroom was filthy & obviously not cleaned, used soap on the bath tub, all of the toiletries were used. The "GYM" was a joke & gross. The grounds & some of common areas were in disrepair, my wife tripped on a broken tile. We were supposed to stay on our trip home as well, but we canceled that & stayed at another hotel. As for the wifi, it was difficult to connect to & extremely slow.
location. clean room
that i had to leave so soon :)
