The good position, the huge comfortable room and the view of the happy coloured tower in the night.
The bkf 's fournitures are poor and the choice of food as well.
Bed No hot water in the shower(i changed rooms, and it was still the same, cold water on both rooms)
A better breakfast
i just like a location
Parking could be a problem
Location was ideal, walking distance to the city stores and Bayside
Did not get the room I booked and paid in advance for, when inquired they said the hotel was full. It is obviously an older hotel and they should consider changing the carpeting which had a dusty odor.
Staff very helpful. Room had a nice view of the river at night.
Breakfast was taken standing because the restaurant was too small for the amount of residents.
The hotel is clean and very close to the metrorail stations in downtown Miami. The staff people speak portuguese and spanish and are very nice. They have pool and breakfast. You can arrive at the hotel by metro from the airport.
It's quite far from the beach. At night, there are no buses and the taxis from the hotel to South beach are expensive. In other words, you must rent a car.
The waitstaff was extremely rude at the point that made us feel very uncomfortable, definitely I would NOT RECOMMEND this hotel is you don't change the people in the restaurant, we were pretty much pushed to pay tips for a pretty disrespectful and awful service...what a horrible experience having any meal in the hotel!!!
You could feel and see the springs in the bed. The said they offer free:valet but when we got there charged us 20 dollars a day. Homeless were sleeping right outside the hotel. We didn't stay the whole trip we went home early we were so disgusted at the fact that homeless would urinate inside the elevator and right outside the building. This was the worst trip ever
Proximity to port of Miami.
No place to sit but on beds. Leaking faucet. No face cloths.
Refusing to put a fridge in my room where I specifically asked for it during my booking and also spoke to someone on the phone. I was there for a fitness competition. The lady asked me how long we were staying and since we were only staying for 1 night they refused to give us fridge?
We did not like this Hotel: They charge 20 Dollar for parking (and there are no other parking options) They charge extra money for the Hotel safe (even when we told them we don't need a safe) There was no warm water when during the first day. One of the lights was broken. We asked them to replace it. It was still broken the next day. Very old equipment (elevators, interior). The person at the front desk was hardly speaking english.
Breakfast is included. Location is great.
The position: restaurants and shops nearby and close to the port and airport (taxi is the best way to reach these destinations).
The breakfast was so poor...only bread, jams, hot drinks and orange juice. It doesn't pay the price.
The room was large, quiet, and comfortable. The furniture looked old but it was clean and perfectly fine. The lobby was nice overall and the continental breakfast was a nice touch. Also, walking along the river behind the hotel was very enjoyable.
For the price I am happy with what the hotel provided. If you are walking into the downtown area, I would suggest going along the river, it is a nicer walk than along the streets.
arrived 21.30 no coffee in reception no coffee in room, no vending, no bar facilities had to walk to the Hyatt for coffee and food. should have stayed at the Hyatt Transport to the port was not free???
location is good. WIFI works on the rooms too. Rooms are big and comfort.
Breakfist is terrible, most wosrt that i've had anywhere.
The bed was not the most comfortable
Another guest forced himself into our room around 11:30PM at night through double doors that were not secured ( November 1, 2014) He stood right in front of my husband while we were sleeping and demanded that our room was his room. There was a confusion with the numbers. The staff placed him in another room and when we physically showed them that the room was not secured they placed us in another room. No manager on site. At checked out we requested an incident report and they said we could not have it. To have it we had to call police. We did not. However, they told us to call manager on Monday. My daughter who is a lawyer called the manager and he denied having an incident report. Case Closed.
Staff is friendly. Nice river views from rooms. Once was a nice place. Lobby area is looking nice.
Beds are less than poor. Hotel maintenance is neglected. Pool is dangerous, location is dangerous after dark. Hotel is ready to be demolished and replaced with new.
Location minutes from nice shops and bayfront park. Staff friendly and even the GM helps guests.
Poor breakfast with limited choices (no eggs, cheese).
Middle in downtown , very close to the Bayside venue, the Metromover, with the connection to the Metrorail!
Breakfeast was very, very poor! No fridge in the room! You have to pay for safebox in the room!
Close to downtown
Very limited supplies in the room
The staff. They kept us waiting for 3 hours for getting a room as the room, which was provided to us initially had severe problems, like the Toilet Flush did not work, basin faucet was brocken, the room telephone was out service. Finally we were given a better room after having hot discussions with the Superviser. Due to the time waist by the hotel, we could not make it to the Miami beach, as it was our last day in Miami.
