Breakfast was delicious and on check in and check out, the staff was most helpful.
Linens (pillow cases) were stained.
Amazing view for site seeing, nice interior.
Picture on the website, that's all
Long waits for appliances and tv stations were fuzzy
Good large rooms (though I'm not the biggest fan of the red decor). Everything worked fine. Nice staff, but sometimes a little busy. Complimentary coffee, tea and cocoa till 10 in the morning + wine some evenings.
We weren't notified that a deposit would be charged and then suddenly during our stay they charged the room fee + a $300 deposit! We got the deposit back after our stay but I still think you should notify about charging that big a deposit.
decor, location, nightlife, attractions, white house 2 blocks away
Bathtub was a little old and rusty
Terrific, modern, clean, perfectly located hotel in the heart of DC. I lived in DC for 16 years and honestly don't believe you can find a better located hotel for work or leisure.
Good location in general - a little far from the metro stop but this was only an issues because it was freezing/snowing outside. In warmer weather it would have been a very pleasant 10min walk. Good cafe in the hotel and close to lots of other places to eat/drink.
The room was very spacious and designed well. I received a great rate on booking ($98/night).
It was difficult to locate and I didn't notice a place to park. So, we used their parking valet which was a bit expensive ($50/night).
All, very spacious rooms, excellent bed, very good value for money for a family of 6 having to book more than one room.
Limited seating in breakfast area.
The uniqueness of the property, the kind staff and all the perks Kimpton hotels offer.
The $50 a day parking charge!!
Location, room, price.
Staff was not as responsive as they typically are.
Free WIFI, the bed was so comfortable, location was great - just a bus ride from the main sights. Free happy hours in the evening.
The room is always amazing!
For Christmas the staff wasn't very cheerful. One lady actual got snart
Front desk was wonderful. They made sure my boyfriends car was well taken care of as it is a costum car that he worries leaving with hotel valets!
Location, intimate size, very cool decor, funky feel
I enjoyed the happy hour in the lobby, the decor, and the color scheme. I liked that it smelled great upon entry, and that the rooms were spacious and warm.
I didnt like the fact that they required a security deposit that places a hold on your account of $100
Location, large room, comfortable bed.
Tub-shower that leaked lots of water onto the bathroom floor as curtain too short for the ceiling to tub length.
This was my second time staying at hotel rouge. They are awesome! My bf and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we didn't wanna wake up the next morning!! Too comfy
The location is a little ways from metro and parking. Cabs wouldn't take us to the hotel stating that it was "too close".
The parking is the worst part about the stay.
The hotel is a good value of money! You get a big room with a king bed and a bunk bed for $100! Oh btw there's an Xbox in my room which is so surprising! Such a wonderful experience with Rogue and I'll stay there again next time to DC.
Very funky hotel with interesting decor! Great location could walk to major sights on the "Mall", wine reception each evening was great.
Coffee/tea maker would have been nice in the room instead of having to go down to lobby each morning to get coffee!
The false reservation rate posted by booking.com
Ambiance. Free wine at 5. Helpful staff.
Made error in room booking but solved it in 30 minutes.
Location, place, staff, happy hour, yoga mat provided
Room was luxurious for dollars spent
