Club Quarters in Washington DC is a new concept for the hotel industry. This private, full service hotel overlooks Farragut Square, and is 2 blocks north of the White House, and near Lafayette Square....
Score from 769 reviews Very good
Room was large and comfortable, Good shower
No coffee making facilities in room No complimentary breakfast
The staff were extremely helpful The rooms were spacious and well decorated Wi-fi problems were sorted out immediately The free wine in the early evenings and lemonade all day are a nice touch Everything seemed good value for money
The bar was a bit small and dark (hard to get a seat during the wine hour) More breakfast options would be nice
Great space for a family of 5. Good location for seeing the sights.
Eclectic decor, interesting neighborhood, reasonably close to transit, good restaurants within walking distance.
No coffee maker in room
Only thing I would add would be a microwave in the room and a bigger fridge other than that i wouldn't change a thing
Loved the 2 queen beds plus 2 bunk beds.
We had a great stay at Rouge; the room was big, clean, and comfortable; the staff was excellent; the location is also great, close to tourist attractions, in a quiet residential area, with coffee shops and restaurants around the corner. I would highly recommend this hotel.
No negatives I can think of.
A responsive, attentive, helpful and caring staff. Issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Location in an attractive neighborhood, walking distance to most sites Room pricing doesn't break the bank. A very nice hotel.
We experienced problems with our TV, Wi-Fi and A/C unit. Problems were attended to quickly, even when all could not be repaired. There are some things in this hotel which could use some sprucing up. The bathrooms are clean, but small.
everything was great. The room is big and very luxurious, the super friendly staff, the breakfast is good for what you have to pay. The place of the hotel, only 10 minutes walk to the white house. I can recommend this hotel.
The wifi is weak in the rooms but at the check out we got 1 day valet parking reduction because of this. valet parking is expensive
the beds were comfortable and the location was great for us.
there were no full length mirrors in the room--most women would like one.
Jazzy decor, helpful reception staff, clean spacious room
The walking. Noone in the hotel seemed to know how the bus system worked although there were plenty of buses around
Very large room location nice bar, happy hour
No fan in the bathroom
Couldn't sleep, the slam in of doors and other noises kept us up all night. I parked my car in the loading area and told the desk my car was to be valet'd to the garage/lot. I left the keys in the vehicle. I had a friend stop by an hour later and he asked why my car was sitting in parcel still running??? Are you kidding me. They finally took it and then acted irritated when I needed something out of it.!! The next morning I called for it upon leaving the room. Checkout, go outside and no car. I had to go back in two more times,to get them realize I wanted my car. Btw it cost me almost $60 for the over night storage... I should have just left it on he street, running with the windows halfway down. I guess if your deaf and u don't drive into town it's a very nice place to stay but if you can hear and or drive... Book down the street at the helix, just don't be someone that expects a tidy room and mediocre service at best. THe Monaco In Baltimore should give all these guys a lesson, they nailed it!
Location, accommodations, and customer service.
Had to leave.
Location - close to restaurants, etc. on P street. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathtub. Spacious room.
Had to wait a while for the elevators because one was out of service.
2 queens + bunk beds meant no fold out for the 3rd child for a change! The xbox & kids mini bar was a huge hit with my 13 year old that usually ends up on the pull out couch.... It made his trip!
Would have liked to be closer to the Metro. We used Uber ride share instead of Metro -- with 5 of us, we probably saved money doing this instead of 5 daily metro passes @ $15/per person per day-- but easier Metro access would have been a nice option.
The hotel was a good choice overall for the price: large room, comfortable beds, morning coffee in the lobby, and a good location.
WiFi was not dependable, even after a call in to their service provider, it kept cutting out.
Staff was awesome, the wine hour was fantastic & the room was cool!
Good location, near the White House and on walking distance to U street/14th street and Georgetown Nice rooms Complementary glass of wine each day
There was a cockroach in our room Airport shuttle
Loved the wine hour
Surprise $100+ security deposit upon arrival.
All in all a great facility, attentive and helpful staff, much larger sized rooms than many other hotel chains generally offer. Terrific decor and furnishings. The daily afternoon Wine Hour is a fun, nice touch. Free WiFi, with decent service. Excellent location. Didn't really explore the public areas [such as downstairs lounge area, business center, the gym], so cannot speak to them. Not sure if there is a pool, but, didn't desire one for this trip. Would absolutely stay here again.
Inside of the elevator, the hallway wallcoverings , and, the hallway floorcoverings could use some TLC / cleaning / repair, OR, a refresh. Bathrooms were a bit tiny. Parking / Valet is $$$ [ maybe is average for that area, however, seemed a little out of touch.]
The room is huge, nice location
Pricy breakfast, smell of the lobby
My husband and three children shared this very large room that had a king bed with a separate space, divided by a large curtain that housed a set of bunk beds and a TV for the kids. Great set up. Very comfortable and extremely quiet. We never heard noises from any other room, in fact never saw anyone else on our floor. The bathroom was really small for such a large room. The White House and subway was a 10-15 minute walk south from the front doors. There is a drugstore and a great gourmet grocery store around the corner. Lots of taxis to take you wherever you needed to get to. They also seemed quite cheap. The staff were all extremely helpful, especially when we had a situation that needed to be dealt with right away. They all were helpful in getting the job done, especially Laura, Chance, and Harald. Thank you!
The bathroom was way too small for such a large room.
