Paid wifi, poor breakfast, average location.
Friendly staff and great food in the restaurant.

Pool was not operating but was advertised with a pool. We particularly chose a hotel for a pool.
Location was great. Staff are very friendly & helpful & accommodated our needs when the room booking was not what we booked upon arrival. The staff made sure we were happy. Rooms are funky & very comfortable. Particularly if you get a room with a bath.

rooms close to the elevators are a bit noisy
The location of this property is perfect to discover downtown. Very friendly staff, especially the Concierge was very helpful (giving directions and tips for restaurants nearby). Great views, spacious rooms + free WIFI in the lobby / restaurant area

I don't know about anyone else but when I'm on holiday I'm super lazy. The only thing I didn't like was having to hold the shower head to rinse my hair.haha Great though if you like you nether regions at shower head height. ;)
Nicely presented and clean rooms. Hotel is in an interesting location with great restaurants and fun streets to wander. Great staff and good Japanese restaurant/bar.

Wifi was an additional cost. Unfortunately the TV/cable was down for the first two nights, however compensated by a free movie or wifi for that day. Room service closed at 2am.
* Good size rooms. * Well stocked mini bar fridge. * Modern, clean and stylish hotel. * Friendly staff. * Great room amenities for comfort away from home. * Good location, easy to grab a cab and short walking distance to East Village, Soho, restaurants and shops etc

$15 a night for Wifi when everywhere is free? Scandalous! Rain shower (too hot in the middle when cold on outside, no proper stream) No chance to open window and airco noisy! Turn on the lights in the lift!
Personnel, cleanliness, good bathroom

Room was large, nicely designed and comfortable

The hotel is advertised as luxury and hip. There is nothing “luxury” or “hip” about it: very dull décor, small rooms, average service and embarrassing breakfast. Overall experience was very disappointing. Really doesn’t worth the money.

I was disappointed that we had to pay for WI FI if we wanted to access the Internet. There was no tea or coffee facilities in the room which we had to keep going to the corner diner to get drinks. The mini bar was very expensive even water was 8 dollars a bottle. Was not to happy with the location.
Staff very helpful and friendly with excellent service

We've upgraded to a bigger room that was perfect. The location is great.

Wi-Fi @ $15 per day? That's taking advantage. Maybe it's in common with all North American hotels but with just about everybody relying on the web for all manner of things then that is steep! I rarely pay in Europe and when I do it's never that much. It cannot possibly cost more than a dollar per room per night and that's with a profit for the hotel. It forces you to go to Starbucks to get online!
Front desk staff and doormen were extremely helpful and friendly as were the housekeeping staff. Good size room for NYC especially with a balcony view of the Empire State, Chrysler and #1 WTC. Proximity of hotel to Little Italy, Chinatown, Subway station just across the street. Oh and a great couple of music bars next door. Would I stay here again? You bet!

The sound of running water was incessant from our bathroom. We heard it all night :(. -The size difference between the deluxe king and King Studio is practically unnoticeable. The square footage difference can only be found in the bathroom area. Otherwise they are identical in style and size. - We were told to wait up to 30 minutes for our car to arrive from valet. The valet told us 15-25 minutes. So we figured somewhere in between. It took almost an HOUR. Luckily we didn't have a flight we needed to catch lol.
The decor was beautiful! Comfy bed. Slept like a dream. Very kind and accommodating staff! Free upgrade! Complimentary chocolates!
