The rooms were fantastic. Modern, great decor. Larger room sizes. Staff very friendly. Location is superb. The subway line across the street.
The beds were hard. Not comfy.
The staff was great, and so was the location. The East Village and Chinatown are within easy walking distance.
Illumination in the room made it difficult to read at night. And the minibar is a bit pretentious and over-priced.
Lage , Personal super Wi Fi Angebot bedingt frei
Das Frühstückssegment , zu teuer Pool zu !!! Das müsste im Angebot stehen Ab wann , denn das Wetter war super Und die ganze Zone nicht nutzbar
Stunning looking hotel. Beautiful large rooms for NY. Solid rooms, so no noise issue whatsoever...(was in times sq for 2 nights prior and heard construction all night grrr) Great looking pool, a bonus as a lot of NY hotels don't have a pool. Has a rooftop Bar open on weekends only (only letdown), great atmosphere & great view. Cant fault staff, they were gorgeous, who were so helpful & attentive, very refreshing...and loved how they open the doors for you...Discovered that LES was a fantastic location boasting so many groovy restaurants & bars & coffee (for the aussies!). But also a short walk to my favourites Greenwich Village & Soho but If you can afford it, its well worth the stay at this wonderful hotel & location. (I previously stayed in Tribecca, this is so much better!)
I did feel the hotel was on the expensive side, especially when you add taxes and conversion rate. I ended up paying around $600 aud for 3 people a night, times that by 7 and ouch....but unfortunately these are the NY prices and if you compare apples with apples Sixty LES did come in the cheapest for a swanky boutique hotel.
I liked the mattresses and the location.
The staff was arrogant and rude, gave us a suite for $1000 per night that back up to the elevator motor, no sleeping that night. New suite with argument next day, Cleaning staff only came sometimes….never again!
This hotel has it all - great room, great views, excellent bed and room full of nice touches
We paid for an upgrade to find we were on floor 8 which seemed Ok until the nightclub on floor 7 was in operation on the Saturday night until after 1am - very difficult to sleep and not good since we were upgraded.
Great location Quiet room Clean
Bed was a bit hard.
The hotel is let down by the staff , very poor service
Good location, nice decoration, friendly staff
Aircodition in the room disturbs while you are sleeping, wifi is not free, swimming pool hours is limited.
* Very friendly and helpful staff * Great location * Lovely pool * Nice room size and ambiance * A problem we had with our assigned room was sorted out as quickly as possible, and our new room had a balcony
* I called before booking and asked if there were rooms with bathtubs available, there were, and I was advised to make the booking online and leave a note about my request. I did. When we checked in there was, of course, no rooms with bathtubs available. We were moved to another room on the second day. * We were given drinks vouchers in compensation, however the vouchers could only be used on certain days in certain areas. On one of those days one of the areas was being used for a private party. In the end we never redeemed the vouchers. * Some furniture was a bit mismatched - in our second room there was a tiny wardrobe and a very out-of-place dresser that looked like it came from Ikea * The bed, while comfortable, was too soft to our tastes
The studio king suite was a cool room, the general ambience of the hotel decor.
One receptionist was really quite rude. The general attitude of the staff could use a make-over. Especially since that one receptionist was snobbier than any of the guests I came across
Very attentive staff and really cool vibe.
Room wasn't ready when we arrived and no compensation offered. Waited over 2 hours for the room. Very tired after a long journey.
Location and closeness to quality restaurants, sightseeing, shopping etc
Expensive breakfast with no gluten free options although this was requested at booking
Roof top pool. Location very convenient. Nice bars around the area. Comfortable room.
Charge for Car parking very expensive.......36 dollors per night. (Disgraceful price).
The check in was fast.
I couldn't sleep all the night .. I heard every single step out of my room because of the wood floor. In the morning the vacuum's voice start annoying as well as pool staff. It was a terrible night.
I loved the pool, however it is not likely to be used by adults if it over run with children.
Sexy boutique hotel with a fantastic pool. Had a room on a high floor with a great view and very quiet. Comfortable bed and nice rain shower. Perfect location to access downtown.
Room was small.
Location: Tons of great stuff in a hip neighborhood. You could literally eat your way around a 7 block radius. Also very easy to get to the F subway line (practically across the street) which makes uptown or Brooklyn easy. View: We asked for a room on a high floor - awesome view of the Freedom Tower and downtown. Tip: Ask for a high floor. Bed was comfy and room was nicely decorated. Eating tips in the neighborhood: Katz's Deli: likely the best pastrami sandwich on the planet). Beauty & Essex: For a more trendy date night or hip business dinner. I would stay here again.
Wifi is free in the lobby but not in the rooms. Small thing but kind of annoying. Usually the free password from the lobby would work in the rooms though.
The staff at the reception was friendly and helpful
the room was much smaller than expected At checkout I was charged for a meal in the restaurant that we didn't have and the final bill was higher than the one confirmed by booking.com So if I wouldn't have checked the bill thorougly, and complained,I would have payed about 500$ too much!
Excellent staff , great central location
Great service and friendly helpful attitude from all the staff from the moment we arrived until we left! Especially loved the pool boy, who set up our towels on the comfortable pool loungers. While small, the pool area offered everything needed-- shade for some, sun for others and a full bar and lunch/snack menu. Room decor was hip and functional, with a nice firm bed and soft feather pillows. The hotel's location on the lower east side was perfect for us as our son had recently taken an apartment nearby. Its a 10 minute walk to Soho and close to the East VIllage, 20 minute walk to NYU, and a subway stop just a couple blocks away. Situated near lots of great little restaurants with sidewalk dining. Would definitely go back! Thank you for a great stay!
The accomodating staff that assured we got a connecting room to make our stay more enjoyable. So many thing to do within the hotel: the pool with bar; the beer garden! The location: the LES great spot for bars and awesome eats.
Even thought it was a little costly, it makes sense; the location is key and the room was awesome. It's NYC, it's expected.
Depending on who gets your call to front desk. Asking for ice might take over an hour or they just totally forgot about it
I stayed at Sixty les from August 12~18th which actually coincide with my bf's birthday and our anniversary as a couple. I emailed the management a couple of days earlier before my arrival and to my pleasant surprise, the manager sent up a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolate and lovely letter up to our room on the evening of my arrival. Location was also great. The hotel is located across 2nd Avenue Station(F line) and during my 7 day stay, I got around the city easily by using Metro. Love the young & hip vibe of Lower East Side! You are literally moments from Little Italy, Noho, Soho, East Village, Financial District, Tribeca…Everywhere! Noise..I saw some reviews about noise at night. Manhattan is noisy period! If you are looking for quite treat, you should consider going some where else. Yes, there were some sirens here and there, but I didn't feel that this location/hotel was more noisy than others. (I have stayed in various parts in Manhattan during previous trips…6-7 hotels) Staff..Quite pleasant, guys at the door always open the door for you. Daily, around 6~7pm, one of the housekeeper will come to your room to refill the ice bucket and leave some chocolate for the guest~! Attention to Detail!

Mostly the location, close to my favorite breakfast place and shopping area. Rooms are spacious and have a nice view.
