No free wifi
Friendly staff Didn't charge us for wifi
Location is very interesting, not the biggest tourist crowds there. Metro is just across the street, Wholefood nearby and many nice restaurants and bars close. You could walk to Soho and many other areas. This is a place to see the real New York and we liked it a lot.
Free wifi in room would have been great, 15$/night is too much. The hotel´s restaurant was a bit over priced too.
The best part of the hotel was the shower and the windows.
The bed was uncomfortable and pretty much on the floor. The room was too small for the price paid. The staff doesn't inform you about your check out time or the amennities in the room.
very stylish nice architectural
8 dollars for a bottle of water ? no tea and coffee in the room no wifi breakfast was poor, just bread.
Excellent location in East village, near great bars and restaraunts.
Should have free wifi in room
The room was nicer for the price than other hotels I have stayed in very near by. Room was by pool. In summer I don't think I would have liked that. In winter the French door was drafty...as in blowing the curtains drafty.
Pay $15 for wifi in rooms. Advertises free wifi, but that is only in public areas.
Location great hole in wall restaurants Staff were terrific Super fab room with unobstructed view
A morning coffee station or complimentary coffee would've been nice. Instead, I went to the bar and ordered 2 black coffees, which cost $8, which was disappointing.
Staff, location and neighborhood great!!!
Perfect location, spacious rooms and stunning view from the King Deluxe Room (corner room 1500) Great local tips from the bellboys made our stay truly unforgettable. Special thanks to Raul.
Minor things in the room that could be improved: leaking shower, small towels, amenities not replenished / changed
Everything about what a hotel supposed to be like with service and attitude!
Valet parking was quit poor but I guess alright. I'm a very picky guy when it comes to my car and I guess I was just the wrong guy for the valet parking.
Location is superb for exploring the coolest spots of Manhattan. Hotel is classy and straightforward, large windows, spacious rooms for NYC. Good WiFi.
Whole place is a bit gloomy, lighting of room annoying, whole place feels too dark and nightclubbish. Eat breakfast at Katz's or R&D rather than hotel's BRS.
Location is great, walking distance from soho, and subway (f train). The staff was friendly and the door people were extremely helpful and efficient and also had a smile on there face when they greet you, which is nice. The bedroom is nice and modern. The bathtub was nice and big-definitely used it. And I got complimentry chocolates near the end of the trip which was yummy. Extra touches like that are fantastic. Love their bath products cause I have sensitive skin.
I had to pay $15 for my wifi per day and it adds up when ur staying over a week- not efficient why of using my money- that's the only thing that would make me consider booking another hotels over sixty les for my next hotel booking in NYC. The bed isn't comfortable in comparison to other hotels.
Large room by NYC standards with floor to ceiling glass.
Friendly and very helpful staff, great atmosphere, nice big bedroom, new furniture and bathroom, very clean. I would recommend it and I will definitely book there again
The room was larger than the average Manhattan hotel room. Hotel restaurant is Blue Ribbon sushi. Can't beat the location if you're not going to midtown/Broadway/Times Square. I live here and we went as a weekend in-town vacation from our kids.
Rooms aren't very sound proof from hallway sounds. Talking from hallway can be heard, but guests are not noisy so it's not much of a problem. However, not sure if noise from our room could be heard in the hall. ;) Had to order room service for ice.
Nice room Right by the subway station
Cold air coming from the windows, so we had to put the heat really warm!
We loved the shower. the exercise and sauna area were nice. Good location. Friendly staff.
Room was tight for the price. Ridiculous lighting and switches, that were trendy but not useful. Flood light for bedtime reading? One control switch for both sides?? Japanese restaurant attached had very good food, but was very noisy with techno beat and people trying to shout over the "vibe." $15/24 hr wifi charge is steep considering the price of the room.
Waiting for room to be cleaned before i can check in. Room keys stopped working at 12 even tho i requested a late check out because of almost 3 hours delay of my check in.
The rooms are beautiful and comfty, you get what you pay for. My room had an amazing view. The staff was friendly and the hotel was in the perfect location, wasn't to far from all the places I traveled. I hated that I had to pay for wifi but other than that, loved my stay.
Paying for wifi.
the staff are always what make a hotel and they are lovely.
Why are the bedroom light switches so fussy. Do lighting designers actually stay in hotel rooms?
