We loved the bed the most. It felt like we were sleeping on clouds.wish we could of took it home.
location was great.Room was big
cleaness was not that perfect. bed was not comfortable. toilet door was hard to close .
The place was under deep construction. The front desk was a small trailer in the parking lot. The halls were filled will construction plastic and tape. No hot breakfast. The breakfast was warm milk and warm oj. It was terrible.
The coffee and location. The staff was nice.
Not being told there was remodel going on, couldn't use the front door, everything was taped off, you couldn't use the wifi, the walls were paper thin.
We had a good stay here despite the hotel renovations. The hotel was quiet, beds comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. The grab and go breakfast was better than expected with hot and cold options. The hotel is close to some great resteraunts. Our favorite was the Mexican place across the street. Great food for a good price! If we are ever in Houston we will stay here again.
The room was super clean.
The construction and lack of a hot fresh breakfast but I understand the property was under renovation and that was uncontrollable.
Clean, friendly and helpfull staff.
Traffic in The Galleria area
friendly and polite staff, comfortable bed and clean room
credit card was charged without prior notification
Staff--friendly & courteous
Construction A/C did not work Breakfast was dismal
The renovations had a significant impact. I was expecting and paid for the included buffet breakfast. The construction noise was very disrupting. Overall a very negative first impression.
The reception was temporally moved out to a container due to maintainance work in the building, and the entrance was by the garage door.
the room was like an apt!!!
the construction was a bothersome. hammering and pounding in he morning. also not ideal for complete satisfaction.
The place was under construction but the stay was still very nice. Everything was clean and due to the construction they had awesome little to-go items for breakfast. Just like the breakfast items we especially liked the bathroom supplies, no cheap .99 supplies, they had fine quality soaps and lotions that don't irritate or leave your skin like a desert. The location is excellent and we would stay again.
I made a reservation online at booking.com which hasn't showed up on their system and even though I had my confirmation email they didn't honor my reservation.
The room is very comfortable ,have everything you may need in excellent condition..
Wi- fi doesn' t work
the first impression was not good but by the time we left..we realized we must have been the first to stay in the room after remodeling. It was very clean and roomy over all. Bed was great !
there was no lobby and finding the elevator was an experience I have never had at a hotel the area around the sofa and chair were small and not comfortable the carpet was rough indoor /outdoor
The lobby was being renovated and renovation on the floors. No breakfast facilities or lobby was available.
The hotel overall was amazing. Even though the hotel was renovating and I had no access to the fitness room. The hotel was in a great location so I could go running outside around the hotel.
I like the location
Very old hotel
Easy location and very quite
Some heavy traffic getting there... anytime!
The location, it's close to everything.
I didn't like the smell of the second floors and that I couldn't find the free breakfast in the morning
It was under remodelation
the reception was a container, the breakfast room was a little room with a few snacks
The rooms were very nice, contemporary, and clean. We loved the decor and the bed was super comfy.
We did not know until we arrived that the hotel was undergoing some major renovations, which was a bit of a let down. We had to check in and out in a temporary trailer in front of the hotel. Had we known what to expect before hand, it might not have been a shock.
Very helpful front desk staff who connected me to a limo service to the airport and also allowed us a later check-out.
Guests should be aware to just bear with the renovations currently ongoing in the lobby
I was disappointed with Sonesta and my stay. I understand construction had to continue, but this was my worse stay yet. I had trouble pushing my door open. I also had to overcome my obstacles with slamming it closed. Omg! I am 4'9 and a petite woman, and it killed me to open and close the door. On Saturday, I decided to sleep in late, but the noise of the construction men kept me awake. I was devistated. Sincerely, Dana Azar
