Great view Large windows Downstairs bar Bathroom
Victoria at the front desk was wonderful to deal with and answered all our questions before we could even think of them. The lobby, the lounge, the bar, Gemma, the room, Bow the bear, the view, the amazing products, luxe mags to flip through, one if the best breakfasts I've had at a hotel.. The whole place is just chic and luxurious down to the minute details.. Including the weather details conveniently displayed in the elevators! Cute!
Not a drop
Helpful and friendly staff, spacious and comfortable room, great location, pleasant bar, good wifi. I gather it is quite a new hotel, but it has a lovely old-style feel. Will likely stay again.
Bar lighting is just a bit too dim for reading (perhaps I am getting old). Occasional late evening noise from functions (dealt with quickly by management).
I absolutely love this hotel! Comfy and lux!
Gemma though a really good restaurant could have better service..
Location is nice as you can walk many places. Restaurant next door is good and convenient. Was upgraded and the room was quite spacious, in terms of NY hotels. It was nicely decorated, nice bed, bathroom, and view and very comfortable. Room was also very quiet, which I was not expecting.
There was discarded used juice bottle on the top of our closets which made me reconsider the cleanliness. We were interrupted for turn down late at night when the room was already turned down. Also, we received a note in our room which was addressed to another traveler.
Quicker wifi required.
Some of the friendliest, most helpful staff I've ever encountered. Even though there were some celebrities staying there, the staff was just as wonderful to the other guests. Hotel goes out of their way to make the stay pleasant (bottle of wine to the room, remembers your name, etc.). The free bikes were a huge plus, as well! Would definitely stay again.
Nothing! Would happily stay there again.
The rooms feel like home, dark woods, soft furnishings, nice touched like the teddy bear on the pillow and a beautiful bathroom.
The room service is over priced, but that is true of every hotel in New York.
Location Décor Relaxed vibe Comfortable rooms Beautiful bathrooms
Nothing. A wonderful hotel in a great location
I have stayed at the Bowery Hotel before and I love it and this time they did not disappoint. The staff is friendly and very professional, they are also efficient and incredibly helpful and you are always greeted with a smile. I love the decor and the overall feel, it has been done to a great standard and someone has paid a great deal of attention to every detail. Service is second to none and the food is great. Can't fault it.
Very courteous and professional staff. Nice lounge and bar. Great room service menu.
Love this home away from home!!!
Very friendly staff, superb location, free Internet and bicycle, comfortable and cosy room.
Poor breakfast, gloomy lightening in the dining room
Amazingly comfortable bed, beautiful marble bathroom, minibar with everything imaginable, Gemma next door.
That I couldn't stay longer.
staff, cleanliness, lounge/patio area
wifi was very very querky to use. trying to log on using my iPhone did not work well at all. the log on process had me bouncing all over the place. made it very very difficult to use telophony services like Skype and Viber.
I couldn't simply sign in once when using the wifi. I had to do so with every new page, which is unnecessary and inconvenient.
Beautiful room and spectacular lounge.
The hotel restaurant's food and service was despicable, particularly in contrast with the terrific quality of the hotel otherwise. What a shame.
The Bowery is a charming boutique hotel. It goes out of its way to be helpful and provide comfort.
The Bowery had the wrong dates for my stay and had already dinged my credit card for 1 night. I had written confirmation so they honored my reservation. When I checked in they told me they would only charge me for one night due to charging on my credit card previously. When I first received my bill upon checkout, they charged me for both nights. I was irritated as it took 20 minutes for them to fix the error. Their reservation systems needs fixing.
Everything. The staff in particular are amazingly friendly and accommodating.
Staff was very accommodating, event rooms were magnificent, free wi-fi a total bonus!
Rooms were small, price was high
Loved the 1920s vibe from the moment you walk in the door to the details like tassles for keychains and apothecary-style vessels for toiletries. Bo the Bear on each bed is a very cute touch. The restaurant was wonderful...great vibe and food. We would go back in a heartbeat.
ALL the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the facility beautiful. The Bowery was welcoming and comfortable. I would love to stay there again the next time I visit NYC. Highly recommended!
I wish I had known about the restaurant in the back with the comfortable furniture. I thought it was a sitting room. If I had been aware, I would have eaten there.
Great staff, comfy rooms, excellent lobby lounge.
Location not the most convenient.
We really enjoyed the Bowery. Lots of great restaurants nearby. The Smile for breakfast, Siggys for lunch and il Bucco for a fabulous dinner. Our room was very nicely appointed and the bed was great. The staff were friendly and helpful and very welcoming.
