Thought the room would have been a bit bigger. The mattress was pretty hard. The tv did not swivel, thought that it might, because it was not centered in the room wall. The tv was also broken had a weird line going down the screen.
Good wetroom shower and comfortable bed
Noise from external vent plant and the wooden shutters allowed light in. Both spoiled sleep.
The lightening it would be nice if its more.
Superb central location for DC, modern and spacious rooms, very vibrant and chic atmosphere, extraordinarily helpful staff at reception and at the door, great bar and a Starbucks next door.
Receiving faxes from office proved difficult.
Noise from the street No tea making facilities. No kettle available from Housekeeping. It ain't that hard to get this right. It seems beyond the USA.
Bedroom could do with more separation from bathroom. Bar was noisy even when thinly populated
that the evening outdoor music finished at 10.00pm, and allowed us 'early to bed' people to get to sleep at a reasonable time (our room was almost directly above the source of the music)
The window shutters were awkward to open and shut because of the need to reach over the deck and couch. Curtains could be easier to operate, would keep out more light and give a more cosy environment
Close to Metro, and many restaurants. Comfortable bed. Good wardrobe space. Breakfast very good.
Heavy traffic location with no or ineffective double glazing. No curtains to windows, only shutters which did not keep out the light. Eye shades were provided in the room! Coffee maker only provided on request, despite high room prices.
The location was great and convenient for museums and restaurants. The cafe on the ground floor had good food for breakfast. Door staff were helpful.
Room 406 had a constant noise from the air conditioners on the roof below. This went on 24 hours a day and made it hard to sleep.
The room was fantastic, clean very updated and everyday personal service and bed turn down. The balcony was very nice sitting out and looking over the city.
Thunering air condition fans outside.
General facilities and room equipment
Poor sound insulation given noisy street (and Hotel bar) just below my room window
Spacious room, heated bathroom floors, comfy bed, nice toiletries.
No coffee maker in room
Location Staff Newspaper in the morning
This hotel has modern lines and attractive interior spaces (including the rooms). Staff was approachable and helpful, and things like wi-fi, papers, coffee in the AM were available and free. Hotel is right at Dupont Circle with easy access to the Metro. Neighborhood is great - lots of restaurants & shops.
Hotel is among the more expensive (but certainly not the most expensive) places to stay, at least during the week/for business travel. And as I was there for one overnight, I didn't really have the opportunity to use the fitness center or try their restaurants. One peeve - asked for a cab - came out to find it being given to a guy who had just walked out. Had to wait another 5 to 7 minutes for the next one.
Really clean and nice hotel in good locatian.
We paid breakfast in advance but the lady couldn´t find it. After arguing quite a long time she rudely gave us the breakfast vouchers.
Noise Poor Wi Fi
Convenience of location.
For my needs it was an excellent location. I was also pleased with the room layout and furnishings.
They tried to charge us for a 'Free' breakfast.
- Location - Nice service and room
- Parking is very expensive ($32/d)
Staff were extremely helpful and the location is excellent. 20mins walk to the White House but with a great community feel about the area. Restaurants and bars galore. Our room was right next the the lifts which I was a bit concerned about but there was no noise disruption at all. Great cocktail bar in hotel as well.
Dirty windows on the outside and no coffee machine in our room. Very minor issues really though.
Every single staff person was friendly and helpful. True customer service.
Lights were not enough
Location is excellent. Facilities, staff and service quality are excellent.
Withholding cash on Visa card took more than 2 business days to return.
The lounge, design and furniture. Breakfast very good.
I also paid for the breakfast, but when I arrived, they told me it was not included. I had to call Booking to clarify. During the night, it was quite noisy, due to air conditioning engines.
