The entire staff was super helpful and friendly!
when we checked in, the receptionist said we were getting a free upgrade. I can't imagine what a normal room looked like because ours seemed rather plain and small. Also, it was way too expensive.
All round experience.
No issues at all.
Very friendly staff
excellent location, super friendly and helpful staff, very good food
showers seem like they were designed by someone who didn't use them. two rooms i've been in I could not keep water from running out on floor beneath sink.
The location and food
The rooms to smal, bathroom to small
While the weather was not very good, the hotel provided a wonderful space to enjoy my time in DC. The gym was one of the best hotel gyms I've been in.
I can't speak more highly of the hotel and would consider visiting Washington just to be able to stay there!
The hotel is just a block and a half away from the subway station and near to restaurants, pharmacies and coffe shops. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom amenities are very good. The staff is so kind.
The wireless coverage on corner rooms is poor
location is great and staff were great---especially since DC's cold weather caused an 8 block electrical outage affecting the hotel. staff relocated all guests and even though this was a significant inconvenience--I did return as soon as I was able to. I was glad I did.
location - close to georgetown, redline metro across the street and several bus lines make getting around a breeze, great bookstores and cafes nearby. spacious rooms with openplan modern bathrooms with floor heating the staff - excellent, warm, client focused professionals. during my stay there was a power outage and all guests had to be relocated for the night - the staff resolved this with such calm, efficiency and effectiveness.
It was good
Window in showr so it was cold
Really nice, comfy beds, great staff, great decor
The staff were brilliant the hotel is fab. Great location too.
The place is as nice as advertised. No complaints on the quality of the rooms we stayed in.
I was charged twice for the room, the lady at the counter caught the mistake and was reimbursed. The only problem was that it wasn't for the full amount. I only received 168 of the 208 for the room.
I liked the neighborhood best, of course- it's close to everything and has a great vibe. The staff was very attentive and helpful, the room was fantastic- particularly enjoyed the warm tiles that could be regulated by thermostat. Food was excellent too.
The wi-fi connection was somewhat choppy, and the blinds let in some light from the street at night.
Location. Bar & restaurant.
Bathroom difficult for two people.
Highly attentive and personable staff, very fast room service and the food was great with options for the kids. The Nescafe espresso machine in the room was awesome! Loved that housekeeping checked-in again during the evening to make sure we had everything we needed. Clean, updated/trendy feel to the whole place. Heated bathroom floor was a nice touch....great all around.
We checked out at around 10/10:30am on Sunday morning and the coffee in the lobby was gone already....minor item, but would have been nice to have a cup on my way out...they may have been refilling? not sure...
location, amenities at hotel, staff friendly and helpful
Hotel was immaculately clean with good in-room facilities and high quality fixtures and fittings
Arrived in teh evening and Lobby and Reception desk was extremely dark. Could hardly see to sign the check in documents! Also the room was a claustrophobic ass the shutters had to be kept closed all the time as the windows faced the inner courtyard and all the other rooms. If you are a fan of big windows and natural daylight, then not the hotel for you.
Atmosphere, staff, breakfast, cafe/bar.
Window in Bathroom was letting cold wind in; it did not close properly. Windows in room not noise proof enough. Very loud in morning. Always woke up.
Very nice and clean hotel Excellent location
Love the European style rooms with heated bathroom floor. Close to the Metro so is an excellent base to operate from to visit D.C. I attend an international conference every December held at the Omni Shoreham. I prefer to stay at the Dupont Circle Hotel...much more quiet and and intimate. The price between the two always seems to be somewhat comparable. The Omni is only one Metro stop away.
Would appreciate a quiet space to dine. It is hard to visit with friends when only to have your conversation drowned out by noise from the bar.
The modern Contemporary look of the room exspecially the bathroom.
No cable connection for the wi-fi
I liked the location, amenities, bedroom and the convienance to the surrounding restaurants and sightseeing.
I liked everything!!!
