No real doors separating washroom from bedroom. Opne concept has its limitations.
The room, beatiful and confortable. The location, close to metro, plenty restorants.
The staff was efficient but not very friendly
Location and staff were excellent, including the concierge who was so knowledgable.
Great location Excellent room Superb Wi-Fi Very helpful concierge and staff Happening bar
More food options
Great location. Nice rooms.
Worth noting depending on who you are traveling with: in our room the bathroom (sink area) was open to the bedroom (no door), and there was a glass door to separate the sink area from the toilet/shower space.
Great location and design.
At all costs avoid the rooms facing the court as the A/C system on the ground floor is so loud that you think you are sleeping on an airport. With only single glass windows you will think you sleep close to a Boing 737.
Modern decor, great location with many good local restaurants and convenient to Metro
Expensive, rooms are efficiently laid out but small.
the fact that it was a boutique and landmark hotel and was close to every restaurant . The staff is well trained and know what they do. Liked every little detailed about the hotel.
Location close to metro, plenty of restaurants. Staff were attentive and helpful Room was comfortable and had wifi, safe, minibar and free bottle of water.
The location is really excellent and near to the famous places
the view the furniture the food the location
lack of a spa busyness professionalism
The staff and location were tops!!! Michael in the Concierge was absolutely terrific and went out of his way to help us out. The entire staff was exceptionally trained and top notch customer service was the word of the day. I will stay there again!!
location cleanliness polite staff good mattress
noise from the AC system; even though I changed my room the noise was a disturbance
Bar Location Clean
Broken door room 808 that was noticed accidentally whilst trying door handle after locking. Only to realise the door wasn't locking from outside permanently. Fire alarm scare in the middle of the night.
modern staff efficient excellent location
Location to metro, nice restaurants, museums and other sites
Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, although it was a holiday weekend
Location, modern design, friendly staff, management intent on making up for negative experience on prior visit (they made a mistake on the room reservation last time and I had to stay in a different hotel for the first night on that visit).
Wi-Fi not as reliable as one would expect in this level hotel (it has the habit of dropping the connection) but it was still pretty good. Room rates are on the highest end of similar hotels in downtown DC.
I'd stayed in the hotel two weeks ago and was forced to stay in a different hotel the first night due to a mix-up at the hotel with my reservation. But the most unpleasant thing was the unfriendly and perfunctory attitude of the manager responding to the situation at the time. I complained after the stay and the hotel management gave me my first night's stay there (two weeks later) complimentary. Everything was perfect during the stay, and the management's consideration for my previous inconvenience was much appreciated. By this gesture the hotel has ensured a repeat guest for my future DC stays!
Good service, clean and nice
The street was noisy in the morning
The hotel was beautiful and the room felt very luxurious. The hotel staff was very helpful especially Michael the concierge.
The only complaint was there were no vending machines in the hotel, just the mini bar in the room where the soda was $4.50. Also it would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room. However, this would not keep me from staying here again. I would highly recommend this hotel!
The hotel generally.
Beautiful location lots of nearby restaurants and a very comfortable and stylish hotel
A bit far from all the sights and really you have to take a taxi. No swimming pool
Great location. Excellent breakfast!
The bathroom does not provide much privacy.
