Located in the heart of downtown San Francisco and just a 5-minute walk from the Powell Street subway station, this Hilton features an on-site Starbucks and a beautiful courtyard pool.

This towering historic landmark on Nob Hill features a top-floor restaurant with beautiful views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. Cable car stops are just outside the hotel.
Score from 460 reviews Very good
This San Francisco hotel features an on-site restaurant and warmly decorated rooms with a 42-inch flat-screen TV and a CD player. The Golden Gate Bridge is just 6 miles away.
Score from 1259 reviews Very good
Featuring in-room spa services and a traditional seafood restaurant, this luxury Fisherman’s Wharf eco-friendly hotel offers beautiful views out over the San Francisco Bay. Valet parking is available....
Score from 652 reviews Excellent
This hotel is fantastic. Very good in every sense.
Nothing at all. Everything was perfect.
Charging facilities (Level2/J1772) for electric cars.
Valet doesn't really know how to deal with electric cars; parks them so the cable needs to be dragged across the car -- very avoidable.
Had a very nice stay. Did a deal for 1 night for basic room for $300 inc. parking and felt that was definitely worth it for location and hotel. Not sure I would have paid the full amount of $400 + parking.
To pay for WIFI......but the hotel has a coffee shop that operates with that free service so it ended up well..... cause we like good ambiance and coffee to go into the internet.
Very expensive hotel for zero service. Example: no newspapers in the morning, concierge recommendation lead you to "tourist traps", room service is inexistent. No fresh juice or fresh flowers in the hotel. Very poorly managed. No terrace as expected on the pictures on booking.com. Bad and expensive. We switched to the Zetta, great choice so far.
beautiful building, big comfortable bed, everything was just comfortable
laundry services was pretty expensive, even just getting a suit and shirt pressed.
Great building and room on Nob Hill; lovely views. Join the Fairmont President's Club for free to get free wifi.
Service is fine but not exceptional (a 10pm request for contact solution might have been handled with a free mini bottle from housekeeping at another hotel--instead, it took a couple calls to the front desk and some problem solving to get some).
As a solo female traveller I felt completely relaxed with my stay at the Fairmont. The staff were unfailingly pleasant and knowledgeable. I felt welcome entirely comfortable sitting on my own in the restaurant and lounge.
No free WiFi access until I joined their loyalty programme. A 5 star hotel should provide free access to all customers!
need bellman @ door for info too hilly, really need taxis small bathrooms too big a facility
Quiet room where I could work and sleep without difficulty. Old fashioned tub and shower were functional and comfortable. Good charging station built into the desk for iPad and computer.
Slow, crowded elevators. I ended up using the stairs most of the time. I am 52 years old and being on the seventh floor, it was quite a workout! $23.95 for 24 hours worth of "premium" internet access versus $13.95 for 24 hours worth of regular internet access with no side by side comparisons in order to help choose between the two.
Cheerful and helpful staff
The queens room colors
Great service, very helpful staff who couldn't do enough for you to help make your stay, in the hotel & outside memorable.
No complementary water in the room, which in a luxury hotel of this quality is unforgivable! Also the turn down service missed us two days out of the four during our stay. As it was for us a great treat to stay there, those little things did mean a lot.
Really lovely and comfy room
No view at all looked into the middle of the hotel and waited to long for concierge
The location was convenient to public transportation and centrally located to most sites that we wanted to visit. Breakfasts were excellent.
Price of valet parking.
helpful, professional, proficient. Thank you
Lounge area was nice and roof garden.
Noise in the morning from the cleaning staff.
Very friendly staff, great location for us. Would love to return and spend more time there in the future.
How small our room was for the price. But maybe that's just San Francisco, we don't know, it was our first time.
What didn't I like should be the question! We had a great price for a standard room with a courtyard view from Booking.com, so when we were asked if we would like to upgrade to a suite with a city view, we were like why not! So we had a suite on the 22nd floor. Wow, the room was huge, the bed was huge. The bathroom was luxurious - great products too. The room had a wonderful view of downtown. Staff were excellent, and really helpful. The Tonga bar serves a mean Mai Tai and the indoor thunderstorm is pretty surreal!
The only thing I can fault is that they don't warn you at check in that anything you remove from the minibar/souvenirs is charged - not immediately, but after a few minutes. We put things back pretty quickly so it wasn't an issue for us, but I imagine it could be
Location and room
Requested an early check in, normal check in is 3:00. Was told at 1230 room was not ready and it would be ready before 3, and they would call me. I did not receive a call until 3:30. No explanation or apology, staff were like robots, not warm and friendly. Parking for 56.00$!!! Ouch..something about a hand wash too, which we never received!
staff specially the concierge they are the best they made my trip wonderful
The employees there are very very nice and helpful! They are truly awesome!
Too expensive! We stayed there one night on a weekday and my total after taxes was $600! There were hairs left in the tub. There were no robes.
Excellent and prompt service Friendliness Comfortable lounge area
The clean bedroom.
From the neighbor's room that you can hear all the conversation and TV, also the bed mattress was worn out one side.
