The location, very close to many sightseeings in Washington and the facilities.
The atmosphere, decor, food
Very noisy AC
location, WIFI, staff
Big room Good location Quiet hotel
Air con quite noisy No coffee maker (even though in room info said all rooms had them, but we were told only suites) Pillows/bed uncomfortable Concierge didn't know much
Ac very noisy (old still split). Bad free Internet . No cafe makers. Classic furniture
Wallpaper and furnishings were nice. Location was great. 15 min walk to White House !
Poor room layout. $50 parking(there is a lot right next door park there) Fitness center Overall attention to detail is lacking.
Everything, from the staff to the hotel room and location, perfect!
Location was great, room very clean with awesome amenities, very helpful and friendly staff
Liked the location, availability of nice stake place and starbacks for breakfast. The personnel is kind and helpful.
Not included breakfast. My room was not ready when I arrived in the evening tired and had to wait more that one hour for a room service.
Amentities, Staff, old school vive to newly renovated hotel.
JR. Suite compared to regular room was not much different. Paid to get better view which was still the side of a building and that was on the second to top floor.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We were able to walk easily around the city.
Restaurant at the hotel was excellent but pricey.
The reception staff were exceedingly helpful, patient and in the main quite efficient. The room was very comfortable (beds are fantastic) and the concierge went beyond the call of duty to accommodate our requests.
In the restaurant there was an attempt by a junior manager to lay the blame for a 40 minute wait for breakfast upon the extremely courteous and highly professional waiter who had kept us fully informed and was charmingly apologetic. After a brusque and indifferent apology to us by a junior manager, we heard him chastising the waiter when it was parently clear that the delay was the result of poor, inefficient and weak management in respect of the kitchen not being able to cope, We brought this shifting of the blame to the attention of a more senior manager. Even if correct, the junior manager should not discipline a waiter in front of customers.
Great location Great staff
No coffee maker.
Great location - close to White House and other tourist attractions. Excellent staff; very attentive and helpful. Great restaurants and bar.
Hotel is within 2 blocks of metro station. The hotel was very quiet at night for those that may be light sleepers it was fine. We had a street view on the 7th floor- still quiet.
I feel the room was beginning to show wear. Needs some painting to freshen and a good cleaning to get water marks off furniture. No fan in bathroom Fairly clean but not what I would call guest ready
Decor was nice. Location was great. Also safe.
Smoke filled hotel because of new restaurant downstairs. Room smelled like a camp ground. Also no water, ice or fridge available. Had to pay for room service to get water or ice.
The location was a good, use uber not taxis to get around the city.
The beds were extremely stiff. In a city where you do a lot of walking, sometimes all you want is a comfortable bed at the end of the day and they beds were stiff as boards.
Everything about the physical space and amenities
Cost of parking overnight $59/day
Great location just 4 blocks from White House. Friendly staff, especially doormen.
Would avoid restaurant. Food and service variable.
The woman who first greeted us and checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. She also happened to check us out which was a happy surprise. The hotel was in a great location, walking distance to the White House with a few restaurants and bars also a short walk away. We ate, however, in the hotel. The food was delicious and our waitress recommended the majority of our meal, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Staff was excellent. Very helpful. Very clean
No fan in the bathroom. No vending machines for a soft drink
I arrived at around 9:30pm, but when I tried to check in, the staff there told me my room was cancelled and offered to another traveller who came earlier looking for a room. The hotel did not contact me at all before canceling my room. It was the weekend before memorial day, and I could not find any other hotel to stay for the night. Very pissed off.
Location to DC sites
Dissappointed there was not complimentary coffee in the room or even the lobby. Restaurant prices too high.
Friendly staff, very good facilities and comfortable rooms and a great location
