Score from 3252 reviews Very good
The staff was always very helpful, efficient and friendly. The rooms very comfortable and the best shower I have tried so far,
I know it's a five star hotel but the outstanding price should come with outstanding quality in everything including restaurant food. When you look at the bill it's like errr I don't think I will pay that much for that veal etc. And please put some tea bags in the room and a kettle. I requested for tea bags and hot water staff brought to door in a min but these stuff were charged, you gotta be kidding!
Timely service. Spacious room, wonderful bath shower, super comfy bed, 1 min away from Central Park and the MET.
The staff culture
Staff are so attentive great breakfast room location is great
beautiful hotel. I like everything .
As I said above, the food is good but not great.Maybe it's what I ordered. Our TV was not working properly for a day and a half, but was fixed.
Beautiful, charming hotel with great nightlife. The food is okay unless I ordered the wrong thing. The location is amazing. The shopping mecca of the world at your fingertips. The rooms are up to date and clean. I think anyone would enjoy their stay.
The Mark is a fantastic hotel, we stayed for 5 days it was amazing !!! The staff are helpful, the hotel is a magical one !!! It's the best hotel I have stayed in for years. Well worth a trip !!!
I would like to suggest that beds be supplied with a duvet in winter. I got one only after I asked for it.
The relaxed comfort of the hotel makes one feel at home. Good value except for the food which is on the expensive side.
No sound-proofing means you can hear everything in terms of doors closing, people talking in corridors and traffic noise Staff were not pro-active in trying to resolve the issue of a noisy neighbour Poor quality toiletries and toilet paper!
Amazing shower and large bathroom Friendly and helpful staff Abundance of good quality towels
It was excellent to be in the city, but slightly removed from the chaos and noise of places farther south. Great location for Madison Ave shopping and neighborhood feel. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at The Mark again when we visit NYC without the kids.
Some of the things I asked the concierge to get for me were not the right things. And also i requested for an electric kettle to heat water for my babies food, the inside was very dirty. That was so bad
The comfort of the hotel
Barkeeper was very unfriendly
Room was very small and dark
Luxury 5 star without being pretentious
The staff were either excellent or surly and unhelpful. Discovering that the bed and breakfast option doesnt mean breakfast is included but rather that $30 will be deducted from your bill was a shock, especially when each boiled egg costs $10.
The hotel is in a great location near Central Park and has been renovated to a very high standard.
Staff was perfect, I did not see that much clean hotel bath in my life, location was calm and good close to Central park is an advantage, mini bar was excellent but pricey.
The restaurant and the quality of food was much below expectation.
Our room was a bit smaller than I expected for the price over $800 per night.
It's a real 5 stars hotel, with great staff, clean rooms and super concierge service.
hotel bar was too posh to get in...also hotel restaurant you needed to dressed up even for breakfast...
great location, nice rooms, superb staff
Location and accesses to major streets and points of interest.
The prices you charge
Everything, though the restaurant is still too fussy for my taste
Quiet, comfortable and beautifully appointed room. The staff was attentive and helpful. Plenty of storage space.
Location, close to but away from downtown. Service from staff.
no buffet breakfast The cost of hotel's pick up service from JFK to the hotel is too expensive.
location, stylish and comfortable room, friendly and kindly stuff. free wifi
Large Stains on the carpet Falling Shelves Nearly broke my hand ... need to be secured. Mini bar was crazy expensive
Location - right next to Central park, Madison and Park Ave. Quiet for nyc Large rooms, huge bathrooms by nyc standards for a reasonable price. Very modern and sleek Intense water pressure from shower and tub Fully stocked mini bar (although shockingly pricey, even for a mini bar) Friendly and helpful staff Tons of closet space
