Comfortable bed Good location Helpful staff
Very comfortable, clean rooms. Within walking distance to beautiful Georgetown with excellent shopping and restaurants and a 10min ride into Washington. Close to bus stop and Hop on Hop off Bus Tours. Would definitely stay here again!
Well located, good confort.
Valet expensive (USD 48), I prefered to park nearby for half price.
No internet access in the room. Staff was not helpful and impolite.
slow service restaurant
In Georgetown Newly refurbished hotel Excellent comfort
Lots of ambulances as it is close to Georgetown University Hospital
The hotel location is great for Georgetown (walkable) but there is also immediate access to buses and taxis if heading elsewhere. There is a very comfortable lounge area adjacent to a pleasant bar. Our room was very spacious with a separate living area, this was a huge plus factor. Food was good, breakfast in particular most enjoyable. Rooms were clean and air condition very effective. Staff friendly and considerate. Based on our experience look no further than here for an excellent value for money hotel in Washington.
No surprises or complaints.
spacious room with nice design, good location
the staff could've been more efficient and friendly
The Staff was beyond pleasant, the boutique décor and ambiance was very quaint. Also a very good value and centrally located.
The room was nice at a nice location
I had to pay $50 for parking plus the room I was never told that on the phone if I had known I would have booked another hotel don't really like being decieved to get me to book a room and that's what I feel I was! Won't ever stay here again!
Location, size of the room, cleanliness, friendliness of the staff
Will absolutely stay there again
Parking was too expensive.
Location is good
No folk/spoon in the room, no coffee machine in the room but free coffee in the lobby in the morning
Rooms were comfortable and good location-- within walking distance to Georgetown
We had arrived later than expected and when we did, they had given our room away! Even though I had reserved it with a credit card and called to let them know. Needless to say I was extremely upset and will not stay there again! Not a good way to start a vacation!
The decor was relaxing, the bed comfy, loved the reading chair (fainting couch.) Good location for transit, walking, and groceries. The gym has very nice machines, but could use some lower weight dumbbells.
No ice machines. The price of a bottle of water is $8.50! The refrigerator was not cold, just a bit above room temp. Only one towel rack behind the door. I am happy to reuse my towels if they can dry between use.
The staff was wonderful- they went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable. The rooms were spacious & very comfortable. Awesome shower :-) we would definitely stay there again.
A group of other hotel guests on our floor decided to make a lot of noise at 7:00am on Saturday morning, cackling and screeching in the halls. Very rude group.
Lovely hotel right on Penn.ave NW. The 1 $ bus circulator is 20 steps away, lovely terrasse in the shade, very good bedrooms .the area is very pleasant in walking distance of Georgetown or by circulator.the hotel provide a good list of restaurants to meet all. tastes
Had to ask for a second chair to be brought .We were staying 3 nights and for 2 guests with a king size bed ...we did not want to seat on the bed to work! One has to reserve a coffee machine ( did they think we were going to take it with us! ) .the coffee available in the lounge diseapered by 9h30 am...enquiries about transports, getting change for tips, museums in the vicinity were met with great surprise .
No parking garage
They were so helpful for my first visit to America couldn't do enough great value breakfast good location the right place to get everywher
They made the room late
Good location, convenient for Metro and buses. Close to old town of Georgetown.
Expensive for breakfast
The location is great and the updated facilities are well done.
Internet service was nearly non-existent. I had Board meetings while I was away and could not connect (although I paid for high speed access). If you're traveling for business, you might want to reconsider staying here. The new desks do not have chairs that are tall enough to permit you to work easily. I needed to sit on a couple of pillows so I could type on my laptop. Again, if you're primarily conducting business, this might not be the hotel for you.
We had room 313 executive k suite, 317 deluxe dbl. 313 very nice indeed, corner room so a lot of light- spacious sitting room but its noise. 317 faced the backside(yard) no view at all but it was quiet. Beautifully decorated hotel - easy access to downtown and metro.Lovely restaurant "District Commons" on Washington circle. Walking distance to Wholefood. City bikes p' dock round the corner from Wholefood - easy to rent and bike to the White House and the Capitol area. We felt safe to bike there. Georgtown is only a short and cheap taxi fare away and you have many lovely shops and restaurants there.
The hotel made the prices very complicated to understand. To actually match booking.com's prices the put minibar drinks on the bill! Very bizarre! They tried to give us 2 dbl rooms but I showed the confirmation of the Ex, suite and then got the right room. Felt a bit bizarre but as an old travel consultant I didn't give in!! -- not the most prof. Guy at the front desk. -----It is a noisy hotel (its a noisy city) so do ask to get a room high up. There is quite a gap under hotel doors hence the noise!---we had to write reminders to housekeeping as they didn't clean as they normally do and ask for more soap- shouldn't have to at a hotel, ranked 8.7 ---- would still like to come back as it is a nice hotel with a good location but the personnel should be trained in a better way.
