Friendly staff. Great Location. Safe Neighborhood. Nice "happy hour" with brandy and cookies! parking optional (we parked on the street and avoided the extra charge).
Second story window didn't lock, but it wasn't a big problem... If I had valuables with me, I may have felt differently.
The historical atmosphere of this hotel bed & breakfast is outstanding.
The sitting area are beautiful and cozy!
Parking was easy. Hotel staff rocked!
The staff, particularly the charming and efficient concierge, were always available to answer questions and ensure that our visit was perfect in every respect! Good value, would definitely recommend the Queen Anne.
The rooms are comfortable, breakfast is above average with the waffle maker, and hot choices of sausage and boiled eggs, and the provide tea and coffee all day. The concierge staff are all very nice.
They called to get me a shuttle ride to the airport for the redeye flight. The shuttle did not come and at the last minute I paid 4X more to get a taxi and get to the airport on time. Then I was so upset by the whole thing I lost my credit card at the airport and had to cancel it. The tablecloths in the dining room have seen better days and are all spotted. Not a very appetizing appearance when you sit down. They really should be replaced.
It's really nice place to stay , when you visit San Francisco. Located on quiet street. Staff was absolutely great . Nice breakfast. Fireplace at the main hall. Most attractions are about 20-25 minutes walking. Hardly recommend this nose hotel!
Everyone was wonderful
Comfortable, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Helpful concierge!
Our room had a noisy toilet. Musty odor, which is probably due to the age of the property.
Very nice setting, furnishings, antiques, history and location
No view from our room
The Queen Anne is Gorgeous.
The bathroom was outdated. It was not so nice.
The staff was amazingly helpful, friendly, and proactive, The space is beautiful and well-kept. Nearby parking was handy.
Bed was too hard. Shower over jetted tub was hard to get in/out of, especially for people with back problems.
I loved the decor, the warm and welcoming staff, the breakfast, coffee, and all the assistance with navigating the city. Also the complimentary car each morning was a wonderful treat.
The hotel is located in a beautiful area but is some distance from major attractions such as union square, China town. We found the taxis to be very expensive and the drivers often tended to take the "long way home."
Friendly staff, comfortable parlors and parking was convenient.
couldn't turn on the bed lamp in our room.
Even though I had the heating on, I noticed a cold draft in the room, I think it was the presence of a ghost, but it did not keep me from sleeping, I felt safe and comfy under the sheets, nice place to catch up on time, and enjoy the holiday spirit
Loved the lobby w/fires going 24/7. Great tea & Very quaint. Rooms were clean & cozy
Rest of breakfast great
Very greasy , not tastey
nice decoration, christmas mood, effective heater
no free parking lot, nice deco but looks old.
The Queen Anne should be a destination in its own right, with it's comfortable antique furniture, the fireplaces, the chandeliers in the elevator, and last but not least, the excellent service provided by it's staff...
The only thing we really missed was a writing desk in the bedroom, which caused us to spend much time in the very pleassant lounge.
Its an unusual period furnished hotel and pleasant with friendly helpful staff.
There was a strong cleaning product odour everywhere, at times overwhelming. Perhaps it was just bad timing after a heavy spring clean by a service provider, if not it would put me off staying again.
Restoration and conversion to a beautiful boutique hotel. Amazing antiques throughout create a grandour that invites one to sit and enjoy the ambience. Staff were attentive, warm and helpful.
Interesting deco and ambience, Very comfortable lobby
Breakfast - no variety, same every morning, Qty of bathroom and furniture - not very practical, Cleanness - need a big scrub everywhere
Helpful desk clerks; tea, coffee & cookie bar 24/7; extensive self-serve b'fst buffet; charming decor.
The hot water faucet in the sink in room 302 was non- functional. Plenty of hot water from the tub spigot, but pretty inconvenient. Room was chilly, but slowly warmed by wall heater.
