The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful at all hours. The room was clean and comfortable. Overall, a very good experience.
The Queen Anne is quaint and lovely in a very old-fashioned way. While the building is not modern, the bathroom was totally renovated, and the common areas are beautifully decorated and furnished. We only stayed one night, but I would have loved to explore the many sitting areas. Free wi-fi is also a very nice touch, as well as the sherry and cookies.
We had no problems. If modern is what you're looking for, this is not the place, but it's a lovely old hotel in a great location.
Location was ok -
The whole hotel was very pretentious- no coffee/tea making facilities in what was called the basic room which wasn't pointed out beforehand-decor in room dated plus TVstations (2-4) view was into apt block next door!breakfast finished at 9am
Made you feel welcome and the people were always so kind.
What a beautifully furnished hotel, packed with charm! Quirky and characterful, lovely fires in the lounge with plentiful seating to enjoy afternoon cookies and sherry. Even the lift has a chandelier and upholstered bench
The Queen Anne is delightful! Walking its halls, I felt transported to another time. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean, the breakfast extensive and yummy (hard-boiled eggs, waffle maker, fruit, etc.), the room large and quiet, the service "above-and-beyond," and the surroundings unique and interesting. We happened to be there when the owners came to decorate the hotel for Christmas, as they do every year. With pleasure we watched the entire family - three generations - work at stringing lights and garlands and placing tchotchkes and creating a very festive spirit. Even if you're not staying, you should stop in and see what they've done!
The coffee needs to be hot and half-and-half or cream should be offered, not just the artificial creamers they provide.
friendly staff, nice atmosphere
Parking cost additional $20
Very charming and cosy atmosphere!
Unique Victorian atmosphere. Close to several attractions. Pleasant and helpful staff. The afternoon sherry with cookies were a highlight. Corner shop with ATM next door. Quiet area. Well functioning wi-fi. 800 meters to the cable-driven trams. Ok breakfast. Two armchairs, which is rarely found on hotel doubles.
Friendly and helpful staff, wonderful period property and furnishings, comfortable lounge, good TV service in room, 24H tea, coffee and water, evening treats, nice location very close to Japantown for easy exploring
Very quiet, with lovely antique decor, a touch of luxury. Well placed for transport to main sights. No tea or coffee in the room but always available in the foyer including iced water and a fire. Breakfast was fine with an excellent waffle maker. Free taxi to train station or down town in the mornings.
The decor is fabulous, my room was excellent, coffee, tea and water in the lobby, parking available, staff!
The sataff, the breakfast, the cheapest option of parking we found before booking. The parking is public though accross from the hotel. For 22/ day. The decoration is excellent. Free tea and coffee in the afternoon. I would choose the same hotel again
Nothing to mention
Good helpful staff and clean accomodations
Window lock was broke and window could not be locked, however, staff came and fixed the lock immediately.

Beautiful place, excellence and kindness of the staff, lovely room, good breakfast... we enjoyed this hotel !!
The staircase is an architectural and engineering marvel...don't take the elevator! So loved the decor and history...we could just imagine the girls in the finishing school rushing about.
very unique hotel with great service.
Loved the staff- the quiet, the location, the breakfast and most of all the decor! Fit for a Queen I'm surprised this hotel isn't booked for a year in advance! I'll definitely be back!
Exellent staff, every moment ready to assist in any in trouble. Really historical building, past century atmosphere, hall with camin and old-style furniture. Good location in quit Japan district. Parking place.
Rooms aren't spacious , some equipments need in renovation.
Antiques everywhere. A very elegant old residence.
No Air conditioning...a fan was supplied which helped, but I was surprised.
Great location easy to walk to or take public transportation to all sights. Staff was wonderful...breakfast was great...room could not have been better
NOT ONE THING
Surprisingly - very poor breakfast choices.
