There was nothing not to like.
The atmosphere at this hotel can not really be described, it must be experienced. The interior, the sherry and cookies ... like being in England in colonial times.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable
Hotel was in the perfect location! Had an old 50s look/style to it which I liked. Staff was wonderful and very friendly.

Nice and charming hotel located in quiet, clean and beautiful area of San Francisco not far from Japan town. Hotel is beautiful Victorian style building with nice vintage furniture and décor. Seems that old lift of Queen Anne is a time-machine that takes you to another era. And it is really interesting experience. Hotel staff is friendly. Queen Anne serves cherry & tea for the guest of the hotel on afternoons. Nice smells inside Queen Anne and their toiletries also have pleasant smell. Breakfast is basic, but very good. I liked option to make waffles for myself. It’s lovely experience.

Shower was bad, duvet was smelly, and breakfast need to be improved

Fancy but not snooty, quiet, nice location and great little breakfast

The only bad side of the hotel was the extremely loud amorous couple in the next room... be aware the walls are a bit thin.
The staff (Franklin?) were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. We got a great deal on the price and ended up with a lovely big room. The sherry and cookies is a perfect afternoon treat. I loved the style of the hotel and the location was ideal - close enough to the action and easy to reach, without being right in the thick of it. Love the decor.

At check out it turned out our rates weren't calculated correctly and credit card wasn't run correctly, took us an extra ten minutes.
The rooms are beautiful, the lobby is cozy and nice

Staff and facility. If you utilize the morning town car services, you can get right to the bay. Then just a quick trip up the hill via the street car, in the evening. Loved being away from the hustle n bustle

The ghost did not visit us nor did we hear any strange noises.
Being in a Victorian-style hotel in San Francisco away from the bustle of Union Square set the stage for a relaxing time away from ordinary life. The staff were pleasant and always greeted us. They complimented us with a bottle of wine and cookies as we celebrated my husband's birthday. Parking was available for a fee and was in/out so that was no problem. . .

Our room had a carpet floor and a creaky four-post bed. This might be less than ideal for some travellers, but it was only a tiny bump in what is otherwise a magnificent hotel.
The Queen Anne hotel has wonderful themed decorations; the staff are friendly and helpful; the breakfast offered is fresh and tasty; the late afternoon tea/sherry is certainly a highlight and the location is ideal for exploring San Francisco. I would strongly recommend it to anyone.

Staff were friendly. Quirky surroundings

The service was great and friendly.

good location, very close to the Japan city, not far away from the union square. The stuff is helpful!
April 3, 2015
Breakfast options are very limited - mostly various breads and sausages
Staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, free Wi-Fi worked better than it usually doesn in 5 star Hyatts.

That I couldn't spend more time
You get a taste of what it must have been like to have lived over 100 years ago with all the conveniences of today.

Little bit of mold in shower
Location and breakfast service and wine and cookies

A need for boiling water in the dining room - not hot water out of a thermos. The bedroom was quite dusty and some of the electrical and bathroom fittings need attention.
