Staff and facility. If you utilize the morning town car services, you can get right to the bay. Then just a quick trip up the hill via the street car, in the evening. Loved being away from the hustle n bustle
Clean, comfy, beautiful fireplaces. Great parking. Big breakfast. Quiet. Great parking
nogal rommelig ontbijt weinig gevarieerd
speciale inrichting tea-time
The ghost did not visit us nor did we hear any strange noises.
Being in a Victorian-style hotel in San Francisco away from the bustle of Union Square set the stage for a relaxing time away from ordinary life. The staff were pleasant and always greeted us. They complimented us with a bottle of wine and cookies as we celebrated my husband's birthday. Parking was available for a fee and was in/out so that was no problem. . .
Our room had a carpet floor and a creaky four-post bed. This might be less than ideal for some travellers, but it was only a tiny bump in what is otherwise a magnificent hotel.
The Queen Anne hotel has wonderful themed decorations; the staff are friendly and helpful; the breakfast offered is fresh and tasty; the late afternoon tea/sherry is certainly a highlight and the location is ideal for exploring San Francisco. I would strongly recommend it to anyone.
Everything , the staff were so Nice and helpful! The breakfast ok but nothing special. The room was so good-family suite with 3rooms two bathrooms.
Old windows which meant they rattled especially when there was some wind and rain. Noisy road
Staff were friendly. Quirky surroundings
The price was too steep for the facilities.
The service was great and friendly.
good location, very close to the Japan city, not far away from the union square. The stuff is helpful!
Breakfast options are very limited - mostly various breads and sausages
Staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, free Wi-Fi worked better than it usually doesn in 5 star Hyatts.
That I couldn't spend more time
You get a taste of what it must have been like to have lived over 100 years ago with all the conveniences of today.
The lounge area . The staff were great
Little bit of mold in shower
Location and breakfast service and wine and cookies
A need for boiling water in the dining room - not hot water out of a thermos. The bedroom was quite dusty and some of the electrical and bathroom fittings need attention.
The character of the hotel
Everything at the Queen Anne was a pleasure- the lobby and all 4 floors have marvelous antiques and lovely things to look at, with always something different to catch the eye. It is a gracious hotel, and difficult to leave to go and be a tourist. Tea, coffee and afternoon sherry were wonderful touches.
Decoration of the hotel made me feel like a visitor in the castle. All very good.
No places to eat in the neighborhood.
noisy due to poor insulation, from neighors and cars. will not stay again.
room had an off odor
antique decor and sitting rooms
Polite and helpful staff Beautiful place
Older building so water pressure not strong and sometimes switched to hot and cold but not that bad. Walls not sound proof, but most people in hotel were older or professional so not too much noise. Parking cost $20.00, but not crazy like some hotels in San Francisco.
Staff friendly and helpful, good location, nice character especially chandelier in elevator. Good cookies and breakfast. Nice seating area down stairs with fire and cozy place to read or relax after a busy day in the city.
This hotel is a real Victorian jewel in Pacific Heights ! The ambience ,the décor , staff , location -could not wish for more . I only regret that I did not know about this place all these years .Ok- breakfast too was great .
Second story window didn't lock, but it wasn't a big problem... If I had valuables with me, I may have felt differently.
Friendly staff. Great Location. Safe Neighborhood. Nice "happy hour" with brandy and cookies! parking optional (we parked on the street and avoided the extra charge).
The historical atmosphere of this hotel bed & breakfast is outstanding.
The sitting area are beautiful and cozy!
