    Club upgrade, on the 8th floor there is wonderful room where you can have small snack during the whole day in a relaxed atmosphere.

    Sofa beds are terrible, we were having two children 15 and 13 yrs on the sofa bed, the last day we found out the bed was broken. Which caused very uncomfortable sleeping. This is not what you can expect from a hotel like this.

    comfortable bed. spacious room

    Unfriendly staff (front desk), didn't give us request room. sofa and wall paper etc seems to be old and stained. House keeping came 8:45 am and 12:00 pm we even asked to late check out.

    Staff were helpful and friendly Turn down service Large room Good location

    Was woken up early two different mornings at 6am (one by window washers yelling outside our window & the other by a huge crane lifting panels of wood) Came back early our third day around 4pm & air conditioning wasn't working & neither was the on demand movies - we just wanted to enjoy the room & couldn't because my mom got overheated and very ill

    No bed bug issues- every other hotel had them just about. Ritz is proactive with maintenance. Heavily perfumed entryway a little annoying. But overAll great.

    The hotel is well located with touristic tram routes next to it, we didn't use our car during the entire stay. Hotel is nice and clean. Staff is good, but as everything in the US service comes with a price.

    Still don't get why we need to pay for the Wifi service in Marriot hotels?!?! Give me a break we are in 2014! even buses and Subways around the world offer free Wifi. We did not receive the room we booked with two double beds, solution was a big roll-out bed. During our 2 weeks trip in California we stayed in cheaper hotels with the same level of quality with breakfast and Wifi included. Conclusion is too expensive, there are a lot of good hotels in San Francisco center.

    - Location was great, walking distance from Union Square - Staff very helpful and warm

    - Parking charge is absurd, $73 after tax per night! - Wifi is also chargeable So if you want an internet connection and a parking, add $100 to your daily rate!

    The staff as always at Ritz was spot on and the cleanliness of the hotel was super.

    As far as I'm concerned, booking.com falsely advertised on their website a upgrade with city views which the Ritz has very few. Only 8 floors. There are other top quality hotels in the same area at a cheaper price wit great views. I am niot downing the Ritz, but booking.com. If this survey would let me post a picture of what was a city view you would understand my dis pleasure.

    Time saving ,relaxing family reunion for three generations. Gabrielle treated my 84 year old moth-in-law like an angel. She helps to bring so much joy for her birthday. We are so grateful for her hospitality and kindness toward elderly. We love the evening Hors d'Oeuvres and desserts. dinner was not missed at all.

    The late check-in was hard for the fly in adult children. The room was a bit dated. sofa bed was soft. poor city view.
