It was close to everything you want to see... Bridge and wharf area. Continental breakfast was fine.
Room was tiny!!! 2 double beds took up all available room space and left none to walk through.
Staff were very informative and helpful, very knowledgeable about local areas. Golden Gate Bridge was spectacular no fog for a change
Rooms were small, breakfast didn't have much option
staff very friendly and helpful
room was very small
I liked the location which is close to the Golden Gate Bridge. We could have walked there, if the weather had been better, but we did drive there in minutes and walked the Bridge. The staff was dealing with a huge storm, power out, but did fine.
No elevator. Or I did not see one. Other than that, the continental breakfast was just OK.
Staff is very friendly. Good Wi-Fi connection . Clean, quiet and nice neighbourhood.
Sometime your key card to enter room wont work. Air conditioner is away from the bed.
The room was comfy and clean with a good shower. Peaceful area with free parking. Staff so helpful especially Raymond who gave us tips on how to get around the city, how to use the Muni and spending 20 mins with us drawing route numbers on the free map, this was invaluable during our stay. Easy driving distance to the Golden Gate & Muir Woods. Would definitely use as a base if visiting again.
Would have preferred a kettle in the room than just a coffee maker as I'm a tea drinker, but minor issue as this was supplied at breakfast and afternoon.
The staff was awesome. Helpful and very nice! A+++ customer service.
The hotel was extremely comfortable and convenient. Raymond at the front desk was very pleasant and extremely helpful. He took out time to explain all the bus routes and places for the visit. Both Raymond and Maurice were professional and courteous. It was a great experience for us.
Very friendly staff, clean big comfortable rooms
Expensive (but that's SF in general).
Free Parking Free Wifi Helpful staff Free printing service available
Housekeeping was not very well done. Some areas was not clean properly. Distance to city center was a bit far
The lack of elevator matters a lot to us when we are traveling with a family and lots of luggage. Should have mentioned in the hotel introduction.
We had a very clean room, great staff and was convenient to our daughter's wedding venues. I gave the hotel a good, because there were not many parking places and breakfast was simple, but good. Would stay there again!
The staff (Raymond) is very helpfull in giving tourist information and public transportation info. The location (nearby Presidio) is excellent to take a bus to the centre. Restaurants on walking distance in Chestnut street. Rooms are clean.
Breakfast is basic (coffee, juice, cookies, pastries), no toaster. Breakfast room is to small for number of rooms. Less parking lots than rooms but parking in adjacent streets is possible during night.
Great location, extremely helpful staff giving all the information you need (map, bus routes, sights, restaurants, tours), free parking.
Nothing, maybe the small breakfast.
We were in town for a wedding and stayed here our first night before driving down to Scott's valley. The Desk attendant was so helpful at finding us a inexpensive place to park near the wharf and they had fresh fruit in the breakfast room. Loved being by the presidio.
Staff excellent. Chestnut street ideal place to eat and drink really close by. Good walk to centre but worth it.
Friendly staff Good location
Very friendly staff, good location near Golden Gate Bridge
Poor breakfast including no Toast, risk of not getting on site parking spot
We stayed here during a 19 day long driving tour of California. This was our most memorable stay, and a true highlight. The main reason for this was Raymond! He made sure we knew exactly where we were, how to get everywhere and made perfect recommendations which meant we got the most out of San Francisco in our 3 nights! He also recommended a walking tour called Wild SF walking tours which was very unusual and an awesome way to see the city. The hotel was clean and comfortable with amazing beds that were the best of our trip! We would highly recommend the Travelodge to any visitors - it made our honeymoon!
Nothing! We loved every minute!
Quiet location, our top priority. Friendly staff. The small room (throwback to fifties) had been nicely updated given what they have to work with! They had TWO luggage racks in the room -- very nice and normally you don't find that, even in fancier places. :) good shower in small bathroom.
Pretty pricy for small room, but, hey, it's San Francisco.
The officers in front desk were very helpful
The room was smelly
Clean rooms, wi-fi
No free parking slots in the hotel, we had to park on the street. A little noisy at night due to late arrival of other guest
The concierge was excellent. Many helpful suggestions as to how to get around and where to eat / drink. Happy to organize airport transfers and activities.
