Casino floor and restaurants
The Blue Mercury Spa and Wet Willies
I got there late and they didn't save my king size bed so me and my fiancé had a room with 2 queen beds in it
Overall I would say it's a good experience, not excellent but certainly not fair or poor. They are renovating the casino and it will look great when it's done as the parts they've completed look awesome. The restaurants in this hotel are very good and there's a nice selection of fine and casual dining. We ate at the Palm and it was very good and service was excellent.
Rates were a little high in comparison to the value we received. The rooms are very clean and we even had a great view from ours but they could use some updating.
The atomoshere is great. Ri Ra bar is fantastic. Carmines is the best food.
Parking should be free for all guest regardless if you are or are not a trop rewards member. If you are paying 200$ for a room, parking should be free. Also, rusty water when we went to shower and brush our teeth.
Over all I had a very good experience. My bed was comfortable and I slept well. I enjoyed the restaurants and the casino. Time flew so I didn't get a chance to go to the imax theatre, but its on my list for next time.
I came to attend a nursing conference. Staff was unable to help me locate where the conference was held so I had to wander around a bit before I found out where to go.
Plenty of things to keep you busy without having to leave the casino.
Irish Pub closed for a private party.
Food and the friendly staff
View was great from room; beds comfortable.
Unable to find ANYTHING! No signage directing you anywhere, & when I asked a security guard he sent me in the wrong direction.
Even though the room was older it was spotless and sparkling
Smoking in the casino and lack of musical entertainment on a Sunday night.
We had a great time. The staff was helpful and friendly and the accommodations were great!
The price of the breakfast buffet is a little steep.
The access to the north tower rooms is limited to 4 elevators, which is over crowded at at key times. Security staff unfriendly and lacked interpersonal skills.
I travel to Las Vegas a couple of times each year and have always thought that in comparison, the Borgata was a "Vegas quality" resort. This was my first stay at the Tropicana and I absolutely rate it right up there as well, far above the other AC facilities I have visited.
Everything is in one place. No need to leave.
I liked my company, and the stores in the casino/hotel.
The price of the room for the quality of the the room. Also, there was a lot of hassle about the keycards.
Fin, awesome food. Tango great happy hour. Wonderful shops and Starbucks.
We had to go to front desk 4 times to get new room keys. Very frustrating keys would not work.
The casino, bars, and resteraunts were good
The rooms, elevators, and overall living quarters were disgusting. The elevators didn't work and security was not helping the elevator situation by trying to fight PAYING customers. Getting back to your room took every bit of an hr. At times it felt like you were an inmate. I honestly am mad at myself for paying for my stay.
My Wife and I both love the Shops and Restaurants. You don't need to go anywhere else to have fun.
The bed in our room was terrible. It was so uncomfortable that I could not sleep.
Dealing with the staff
Besides the casino there is plenty to do right in the hotel.ie restaurants, clubs, bars
The smell of cigarettes that seems to be everywhere
The staff, particularly security and night managers were rude and disrespectful. Harassment of guests and agruing with them was very unprofessional.
Our dealer Purmina was an absolute pleasure at the blackjack table! Very convenient location for the AC Beer Fest!
Security at the west tower elevators were very rude and not helpful at all.
We liked the view from our first room. Breakfast at Ri Ra's.
We did not like having to walk through the smoking section of the gambling floor to get to the elevators to get to the rooms. The whole gambling floor was smoke filled, even the "non-smoking" areas. We wanted to stay and gamble but after 20 minutes we had to leave. The smell was overwhelming and choking. The hallway of the Non smoking floor and our room on the "43" floor of the west tower smelled like smoke so we needed to change rooms at 1am. The hallway of the non smoking floor on the 10th floor to our room in the north tower smelled like smoke also. The room was ok until the morning and then it smelled also. Disappointing that smoking is allowed where people eat and sleep. We would have stayed longer if the air was not filled with cancer causing smoke.
Loved the location and the amount of slots
The staff was so rude. They didn't let me and my friends up to our room for 2 hours!!! We all had room keys and yet they have us attitudes. Leonardo and Ron were their names. The guards at the elevators.
