Score from 187 reviews Excellent
The room was fantastic. Wonderful view, extremely comfortable bed.
The TV's could be updated. The windows need more insulation or were not installed properly. We heard every car drive by, we could even hear what people were yelling on the street even though we were 5 floors up. Sirens galore. I'm a heavy sleeper and I woke up numerous times throughout the night due to traffic noise.
Some of the staff was very friendly and helpful
Other staff had a I don't care attitude.
Good bed, great diner nearby for breakfast, complimentary shuttle to DAL
Expensive wi-fi, only valet parking.
Charming lobby and bar. Big bedroom. Free parking on the street.
Expensive and ridiculously slow internet. Tired room furnishings, threadbare sheets. Noise from Love bound planes through poor fitting windows.
The bed was wonderful, linens great
The bath was small and a clog of hair was in the slow moving drain
Very good location; nice atmosphere; cosy bar; the hotel has style; spacious and comfort room; very friendly personnel.
Very expensive both rooms and bar; WiFi is against money (this is very primitive!); renovation is needed in the bathroom at least; there is no spa; no cigar lounge (this would fit the whole atmosphere).
Staff great. Hotel cozy and well appointed. Beds comfortable. Room device lightning fast.
Small room.old fixtures.noise
The atmosphere was very sophisticated and tranquil
Beautiful hotel with large spacious rooms.
We asked for a quiet room and was on the top floor. It's difficult to drown out the noise of traffic below. There was also a late night party down the hall from our room at 2AM I did call the front desk to alert them and eventually it quieted down but took over 90 minutes.
The room and bathroom large space!
Overnight parking charge and no complimentary continental breakfast. $7 water charge is ridiculous!
I loved my corner suite
Registration staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large. Comfortable bed and pillows. Running trail is located nearby. Close to good restaurants. The hotel has a classic older look with an intimate bar in the lobby.
Additional charges for Wifi and parking. The hotel is on a busy street so ask for the 6 th floor or higher. The bar staff was not friendly.
The service at this hotel is impeccable! It is always worth the money!
Always have great experience ..every time I stay there..
The staff was nice. Especially the front clerk who checked us out was a standout. Unfortunately I cant remember her name.
What I thought was a reasonable price for a hotel quickly escalated to a price I would have paid for a bigger room. It was nice though.
Loved the valet staff and bellman, Leon. Valet attendants were always efficient and helpful. Room was comfortable and quiet. Room service staff wonderful.
Front desk morning staff distant and uninterested. A guests first contact should be a much better experience!
On a last-minute road trip, we booked a really nice suite at the Warwick for almost 1/3 the usual price! Checked-in super late after international soccer game--front desk was very polite and professional. Comfortable bed, nice room and good service. Great neighborhood too!
Staff service, spacious room, great bar, reasonable cost, location near downtown, wonderful old building that has been renovated but preserved
position and room space
old room, maintenance issues for air conditioning and bathroom
Staff was friendly. Great Library. Complimentary car service within 3 miles of the hotel and Lovefield Airport shuttle. Leon the bell hop was great and very friendly.
I filled out a third party credit card authorization form to ensure all charges would be placed on my company credit card. When I checked in I asked the reservationist the ensure everything would go on the company card and I was reassured it would all be taken care of. That night I had a withdraw from my personal account for the room charge. I had to go to the front desk the next day and have them contact my bank to have the charges reversed. Also, no one communicated that there would be a $50 hold per day on the credit card for room incidentals. I think the hotel needs to communicate that more clearly to guests upon check in.
Love the Melrose Hotel !!
Staff service, spacious room, great bar, reasonable cost (got a special rate),location near downtown, wonderful old building that has been renovated but preserved
WiFi charges, noise from adjoining room (this is an old building and doors need to be replaced or weatherstripped to dampen "leak-in" noise)
Neat old hotel.
Finding entrance for Valet parking was confusing, some parts of exterior looks a little worn.
Great staff, positive and helpful.
On last day of stay our room was not made up at 3:45 pm and we hade to request that it be done.
