Loved the valet staff and bellman, Leon. Valet attendants were always efficient and helpful. Room was comfortable and quiet. Room service staff wonderful.
Front desk morning staff distant and uninterested. A guests first contact should be a much better experience!
On a last-minute road trip, we booked a really nice suite at the Warwick for almost 1/3 the usual price! Checked-in super late after international soccer game--front desk was very polite and professional. Comfortable bed, nice room and good service. Great neighborhood too!
Staff service, spacious room, great bar, reasonable cost, location near downtown, wonderful old building that has been renovated but preserved
position and room space
old room, maintenance issues for air conditioning and bathroom
Staff was friendly. Great Library. Complimentary car service within 3 miles of the hotel and Lovefield Airport shuttle. Leon the bell hop was great and very friendly.
I filled out a third party credit card authorization form to ensure all charges would be placed on my company credit card. When I checked in I asked the reservationist the ensure everything would go on the company card and I was reassured it would all be taken care of. That night I had a withdraw from my personal account for the room charge. I had to go to the front desk the next day and have them contact my bank to have the charges reversed. Also, no one communicated that there would be a $50 hold per day on the credit card for room incidentals. I think the hotel needs to communicate that more clearly to guests upon check in.
Love the Melrose Hotel !!
Staff service, spacious room, great bar, reasonable cost (got a special rate),location near downtown, wonderful old building that has been renovated but preserved
WiFi charges, noise from adjoining room (this is an old building and doors need to be replaced or weatherstripped to dampen "leak-in" noise)
Neat old hotel.
Finding entrance for Valet parking was confusing, some parts of exterior looks a little worn.
Great staff, positive and helpful.
On last day of stay our room was not made up at 3:45 pm and we hade to request that it be done.
Grand Old Hotel with huge rooms
A little older and worn, around edges of room and bathroom.
Location, Staff Services, Cleanliness
Staff was wonderful and made us feel very welcome. When the front desk learned it was our anniversary, they sent up a surprise bottle of bubbly and a plate of chocolate covered strawberries. Beautiful old property!
We were surprised to find that the car wash the valet offered when we checked in resulted in a $40 charge to our room (we didn't expect it to be free, but that seemed about double what it should be for an exterior wash).
Amenities and staff are great
Parking and fees
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice room...comfortable and elegant.
No ice on my floor. Wish fitness center was open 24 hours.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful! The room was great - large marble bathroom with robe and slippers. Lobby and bar were also lovely. Staff was very nice.
Overnight parking charge of $26 seemed a bit high for the area.
Beautiful stately building
As in our previous visits, we found the Warwick Melrose Hotel to be comfortable, with luxurious furnishings. The staff are friendly and the location is great for accessing the clubs and restaurants in the local area.
Very loud and obnoxious guests staying in what would be an attached room to our corner king suite were not dealt with promptly by staff, despite our call to the front desk at 3am. This has not been an issue in previous stays.
Fasntastic staff and hotel
Paying 10$ per day for WLAN
Beautiful hotel and room. Nice staff and 24/7 room service. Central location in very nice area.
Allow for allot over and above your confirmed price for the room! This hotel charges $25.98 per day for parking and there are no other places to park! They also charge $9.95 per day for wifi access and they block your personal hotspot so you have no option but to use their wifi in the hotel! My quoted price was $1293.00 for 7 days. I used $177.00 in room service and pre-paid $140.00 against my bill to mitigate the cost of the room service and still ended up with a bill of $1711.00!!
location --large room
exorbitant parking fee and having to tip every time one used their auto. breakfast expensive drinks expensive no music in bar
No guest parking! No vending and no ice on each floor!
Location & staff
Staff friendly and very helpful. Just what you need to be able to relax.
No free wi fi in room only in lobby.
Clean, friendly & upscale.
Expensive wifi. Wifi should be free. If a motel can do it so should a 4 star hotel. I don't mind paying for parking, but I do mind being forced to use a valet when the parking lot is literally just a few steps away from the entrance of the hotel.
