Rooms were contemporary and comfortable and the staff were friendly at each turn.
The bathroom is nice and large, however there was no place to put my shaving gear, toothbrush, deodorant, etc. In such a large room, an extra drawer or shelf would be an ideal tool to add.
Nice atmosphere, rooftop 'La Terrace' and drinking area.
This is Hotel has the ultimate combination of excellent staff, being beautifully appointed, well situated and great value.
Credit card issue, was sorted very quickly once brought to their attention.
Rooms were very comfortable and the bed made for a great nights sleep
The only snag is, no room service! Lazy travellers have to hunt their food down!
WestHouse was a pleaure! The Staff was awesome, so helpful! keep it up guys!
Only issue is has a two pipe A/C system, so if you like a specific temp in your room won't happen depending on time of year.
I had an amazing visit to NYC and Westhouse made it that much better. Very kind staff and helpful and willing at that. Kudos to all especially Kevin.
Room service was a bit sloppy for a 5 star hotel (they barely put stuff in order)
Very nice hotel. Great location not far from Central Park. Excellent service. Nice clientele. Free drinks at the bar in the lobby and free access to the bar in the top floor in the afternoon made our stay very pleasant. Very good rates for NYC standards.
small bathroom no selves to put anything
Good value nice accommodations convenient location
Hotel is very nice but I didn't find it to match that of other 5 star hotels. Service was average but staff did not go above and beyond on any instance. Tablet to control room is just a tablet. Doesn't control window shades or lighting. Music plays out of a speaker on the back and the streaming service constantly got disconnected from the wifi.
"Included" food and beverage was nice for a quick bite.
Front desk staff were not trained or educated on how to handle promotional rates, booked through third-party sites. Very disappointed with front desk follow-through on resolving my confirmed promotional rate. I waited at the front desk more than 40 minutes, over 2 different days, to have my confirmed booking.com rate honored by staff.
Great location! Great idea to offer complimentary breakfast, tea and cocktails--- really makes this hotel a standout.
Stunning hotel, bed amazing, location superb, staff simply delightful. Fantastic breakfast and nibbles/drinks in evening. Worth the guest charge
could have left snack foods out for longer periods. It is included in the room pricing so wanted to access it anytime
Location of hotel is excellent. Close to everything in midtown + Subway stop right out the front of N,Q,R line
"Free" wifi isn't really free. You pay daily for wifi, breakfast, snacks plus meat and cheese in the evening.
The "Terrace" open all day with breakfast and snacks. Comfy beds, very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Manager Dhalimu Robinson was icing on the cake!
$35 daily fee come as a surprise
Staff were friendly and helpful
The property is somehow over priced with many added taxes and fees that adds to the original value of the night.
The staff were so nice and welcoming, especially "Ashly" the evening shift manager. We had a great time and enjoyed our NY in NYC :)
Excellently located couldn't fault the hotel at all
No in room dine in service. Limited food selection for breakfast.
Location was amazing.
Last day they had trouble with the lifts - 3 times I had to wait 10min for a lift.
Large comfortable room
Great location for shows, Carnegie Hall and midtown dining. Staff bends over backwards to make you feel at home. Kevin and Moe at front desk are tops, as are the doormen and housekeepers. Lovely breakfast, happy hour noshing. It's just plain comfortable and inviting.
Location excellent. Very nice room. Great idea to offer a lounge for guest. Highly recommended.
Connecting room very noisy, I had to change after first night.
Staff very helpful, very good location, rooms are clean and well equipped, very good beds.
Location, amenities, quality and design of furnishings, staff
The rooms were a little bit too small.
The lounge on the 23rd floor
Slow check-in, slow to clean tables on the Terrace.
The resident's fee was not optional and we hardly enjoyed the options that came with it. They should offer hot breakfast as well. We got bored of the breakfast options at day 2.
the view, the concierge attention and the location were wonderful.
