    It was located at nice street and good part of the town

    Broken remote, broken window frame,having dark wall paper And unnessary long hall way in the room and having creepy rooms,high price but poor service

    There is no elevator but the staff helped us carry the luggage!

    Is a nice place to sleep , we only spent a few hours in the hotel to rest and sleep , the stuff was really nice and it's only almost a 15 blocks from downtown , then in the 18 and 17 street you have a lot of places to eat and have a drink

    The staff was amazing. It was worth to stay here. Accessible to all historical places and business centers. Though metro stations near to hotel DuPont circle and U Street were few blocks away but it was good to see around.

    The night clerk was friendly and gave a good recommendation for nearby restaurant. The hotel cat was friendly too.

    Location in pleasant residential area, but since it was a long walk to the Metro station. Had to convince desk clerk to give me good room, first one offered was basement level and dark.

    The air conditioning unit had quite a loud rattling sound (and was not installed properly as the area surrounding the unit had bits of wall sticking out), which consistently woke myself and my husband intermittently during the night during our entire duration, and it didn't work properly - the air was cold for a short period and didn't cool the small room. When moving away from the unit, the air was immediately warm. A few times when leaving our room, we saw other rooms being cleaned and the air conditioning units were much quieter than ours, the rooms were a decent size and there was cool air radiating from the rooms - everything that was opposite to the room we received. When informing the manager on duty of the rattling A/C after our first night, he said that the hotel had two types of units, and he pointed to the one in the lobby, which we had in our room. I told him that it wasn't a making any kind of noise - not like the one in our room. I asked if there was any possibility of changing rooms and he said they were fully booked...and literally, that was the end of the conversation...nothing to say that they will get it looked at or even try arrange a room if someone was leaving, etc. My husband and I just endured the tiny, warm, noisy room for our short stay, with wifi that kept on cutting off, and suffice to say, we will never recommend or stay there again.

    The hotel was quaint and the front desk person was very nice.

    We were charged twice for our stay. We paid in cash when we got there (because we had listed that as our payment option through booking). Booking had also asked for our credit card information and the hotel had charged us the morning we got there but we hadn't realized this before we paid in cash. After our stay we noticed we had been charged to our credit card and called to resolve the issue. They claimed their policy was that they didn't accept cash which is why they charged our card (yet we paid in cash when we got there and put a card on file so they clearly do accept cash). When we explained this they said they would look into it and get back to us. They never followed up and we tried contacting them to explain again without them believing us. They said they would check with the person who was working their desk when we checked in and let us know what would come of the claim. They still have yet to get back to us although we have called and left messages several times since our original contact with them. The stay overall was nice but it has been very frustrating to be charged twice for a hotel room and have no one from their management follow up with us regarding this issue. It shows poor customer service and care on the hotel management's part which is sad because the hotel workers seemed very friendly.

    Great staff, gd location ,

    the window shades were dameged, no frezer in the room ( very annoying ) , no tv , bad WIFI, bad bed sheets ( Stinky )

    The wifi is excellent and the staff are very professional and helpful. The hotel is also a street away from the restaurant district which is very handy!

    Funky old hotel with lots of character. Staff was very accommodating. Free wifi. $5 breakfast for coffee, lipton tea, pastries.

    needs some maintenance tlc. loose tile, broken switchplate, peeling wallpaper.

    Staff is friendly! Wifi is good in room. The room is neat!

    Breakfast is too too too simply and it costed me 5 dollar! It is not worth the money I paid.

    Quiet. Close to restaurants. Scenic.

    No refrigerator in room. Could not find a glass only plastic cups. No band aids when I received a cut.
