I loved how friendly and helpful the staff were! We were in Cape Town for a wedding and my formal dress got very creased in the plane. An house before we left for the wedding I went to reception in desperation and they took my dress into town, had it steamed and returned it to me in time for me to get dressed - I have never experienced this level of service ... and they did it with such love! The hotel is immaculately clean, quiet and the breakfast is delicious! We will DEFINATELY be going back there.
luggage expertly taken care of before and after check in and out
available bread at breakfasts
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was my husband's 70th birthday and he loved it.
There was nothing we disliked, we had a marvellous time.
Excellent staff - very helpful and efficient. I had a fun stay in the last available room which happened to be the teenage room. Very comfortable, large bunk beds with game console and large TV,. I did not use the games but can imagine how teenagers will love this room.
Location Cleanliness Staff friendliness
No hot water for 2 days despite reporting the problem several times.
Great location, adorable hotel, very professional staff.
Typical stellenbosch charm. Clean rooms and lovely view of the leafy drop street.
Wonderful staff and a room with character.
The road could be a bit noisy at times.
Eendracht has a fascinating history, going back a long way. It has an excellent central location in a lovely old university town. The staff are, without exception, pleasant, helpful courteous people. The facilities are good and cleanliness is an obvious concern of the management and staff. We have stayed at Eendracht a number of times and have no reservation about recommending it highly.
What's not to like?
I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and the staff provide excellent service also the location is perfect.
Everything was fine.
Loved the area, very walkable, great restaurants nearby, great wineries, safe area for our car, for walking/running. All the staff was really accommodating & really friendly.
the pool area was nice looking but i expected more of a pool for swimming than a wading pool.
clean room, good breakfast, helpful staff at reception, strong WIFI, great location.
Lovely hotel building, great location for walking around this beautiful town. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Location value and excellent accommodation.
Well presented room and bathroom.
Pleasant atmosphere & characteristic place
Chose room on street which was noisier than expected.
Location was perfect, walking distance to wonderful restaurants and easy accessibility in and out of Stellenbosch. Comfortable and clean, would recommend and stay there again.
Liked the little pool courtyard - welcome respite on a hot day. Offer of cold drink while there was welcome. Breakfast tasty especially omlettes!!!! Nice touches - fruit in room and fresh flowers in lobby, hallways etc.
Could hear other rooms showering and flushing toilets - quite loud, but suppose to be expected as is old building.
Parking, wifi, they let us have breakfast in the garden.
Pool in the shade and quite small
-The wonderfull fresh flowers/fruit, an important detail that no modern establishment bothers themselves with, or even contemplates. -The personal attention to detail. -Outstanding friendlyness and assistance from all staff. -The blocked hand basin in room 9, was repaired within the hour- excellent service
-Sugestion, a possible safety hazard, when assending the first flight of stairs, the wooden hand rail, on the left side of the banester, should be extended to the edge of landing in front of room 1. Similarly between the first and second floor landings as well, especially for senior citizens/older guests, it stops 900mm sort of the landing. -With the nine hour power failure on 24.03.2014, only to some rooms, a candle and matches, would have been a good emegency alternative.
The friendly greeting of staff who remembered us from previous years.
Fantastic location. I felt safe as a solo traveller and had a great night's sleep.
Its on the main road so a little noisy but that dies down after 10pm
Robin was a great help. Location on the edge of the center was super.
