The breakfast selection was OK. Cappuccino and Espresso are available but you have to ask, otherwise you'll get filter coffee.
I've stayed at the hotel many times in the past but not for about 6 months. On a recent overnight business trip to Cape Town I chose the hotel as my 1st choice was full. This is a Hilton Hotel and I expect it to comply with their international standards. Historically I've enjoyed the hotel which had consistently delivered good service. However, this was no longer the case on my last visit. I phoned the hotel to notify them we'd be checking in late which wasn't a problem as I'd prepaid online. Check in was fine and we were allocated a room fairly promptly. However, I was horrified to find someone already occupying the room. We returned to reception who allocated us another room but they first sent someone to check it was empty. When we got to the room it smelt of cigarette smoke and wasn't a non-smoking room which is what I'd booked. So back to reception for the 3rd time. They then sent a chap up to check another room which was apparently vacant but he returned and notified them it was also occupied. Understandably I was fast losing my sense of humour at this point. After a further search on the computer they came up with another room which the chap ran up to check and came back beaming that the 4th room of the night was empty and non-smoking. This whole process took about 30 to 40 minutes and it was late and we were tired. The room itself was tiny, much smaller than the others in this category. I've stayed in all the different types of rooms in this hotel from the loft suites to the standard rooms and know it quite well. The room wasn't particularly clean and the pubic hair on the bed and on the bathroom floor was unacceptable. The bathroom had grime and dirt in the corners and some of the fittings were loose. The only saving grace was breakfast which has always been good. The receptionist at checkout was a sweet young girl in training but wasn't up to scratch.

Very helpfull staff, the location is great if you have a car and are going to different places ... The food is fine if you decide not to eat out! Good breakfast buffet
The first time I arrived I was surprised ... Thehotel is in sort of a shopping mall ... The neighbourhood is not fully developed yet...
Absolutely everything about the hotel.
The food for room service wasnt great, most of the time cold.
Great staff, always friendly and helpful. Best I've ever seen.
location, facilities, staff, cookies, shuttle services
There were no shower caps in my room and some towels are quite old.
Friendly helpful staff and delicious food
Aloofness of lady restaurant waitrons. Thin walls between bedrooms
the breakfast was great!
Location, staff and superb breakfast
They improvised a double bed putting 2 singles together. Sounded ridiculous in a 4 star hotel.
good hospitality, feels like home
New hotel, clean and safe, near to Woodstock, which has some cool bars and restaraunts, though may be bit rough around the edges at night. No worries though, we had a great time.
High quality accommodation. Incredible food.
Frequency of the Waterfront shuttle could be improved.
Parking fee was charged, but it should not be charged as we are hotel guests.
good service by the staff, thank you so much
Central location vs cost
Busy street and parking
Staff very nice but I only missed grapes not even a single day with grapes.I was expecting to eat grapes like I was eating fish during the day.The rest was fantastic.
Ruth at reception made our check in Very easy a big thumbs up to you Ruth, heated pool was awesome. 10/10 for me
No doors in room separating bathroom, Gym equipment require service.
Free cookies whenever was a nice touch. Modern hotel, nicely decorated. Friendsly staff which were more than happy to help.
Location was poor. When we first arrived i felt very unsafe and dissapointed, and wantes to find another hotel to stay in. Eventually got used to it, although it took a while. Gym was tiny and pool was a let down, not worth it. Room could have been more clean, carpet and curtains were stained.
