The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The timeless ambience of the property is superb and the bedroom was exceptionally appointed and with a very comfy bed! Great parking too!

The general ambience in the bar area was very cosy, and felt just like a proper "ye olde" pub should feel like. Dinner was a tad pricey, but you got what you paid for, the food was excellent. Good selection of wines and beers, if a little pricey too. Breakfast was sized appropriately and very tasty, but the selection on the counter was limited.
