Located in Lydney, 34 km from Bristol Parkway Station, George Inn st briavels provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Located around 39 km from Kingsholm Stadium, the inn with free WiFi is also 41 km away from Cabot Circus. Bristol Cathedral is 43 km away and Ashton Court is 47 km from the inn.

The George is a beautiful old property with a lot of history. The pub is amazing. It has a fabulous atmosphere, and was a lovely base to spend a weekend in the Forest of Dean. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The beams added their own charm to the room, but it was also modern and well decorated. The landlord and the manager were very welcoming, and couldn’t do enough for us. We particularly enjoyed hearing about the history of the pub. We didn’t get the chance to eat at the pub, because we were going out with friends, but the food looked amazing. We will have to return to try it in the near future.

Very comfortable, well appointed room with bath and view. Staff very friendly. Fires in the bar/restaurant made for a warm, welcoming place to spend the evening. Dinner and breakfast were superb. Despite being on the only road through Tintern it was a quiet location.

Our room was fantastic with a lovely view towards the river. We've had dinner here before and knew food would be good. And breakfast did not disappoint - was tasty, cooked to perfection and the sausage in particular was great quality.

Wonderful location on the Welsh bank of the River Wye, this is a characterful rustic property renovated and decorated to a very high standard maintaining period charm. The welcome was warm and helpful. Restaurant dining and breakfast was superb. The evening dining was extremely pleasant and a wonderful cosy lounge with real fire/stove made for a wonderful experience. Home-cooked foods are delicious. High recommended without hesitation.

Location is stunning, Fantastic views and close enough to many points of interest. Breakfast was excellently cooked, though strangely there was no sausage. Didn't book dinner but there is an excellent pub across the road where the food and staff were excellent.

Very comfy staff , in a cute wee village near Tintern Abbey. My room was quite spacious and large but the heating was great so I was very comfy. The beds were great, and shower good. I enjoyed dinner by a crackling fire downstairs and the hosts whipped up an amazing breakfast as well. Area is great for nature and hiking.
