Was a little worried at first as i couldn't find a reception but was directed to a team member helped my out. Was brought to the office, went through the checkin process and then in 5* fashion shown to my room and given a tour. Oh my what a room, mirror the doubles as a tv, huge walking bathroom. And so good it needs a line all for itself; The bed! Super comfy

It is owned by the organization that owns the local art and history museum and is decorated with lovely artwork that is part of the museum's collection. Our room was very large and elegant with tall ceilings, high quality furniture and a view out over the Piazza Garibaldi Guiseppe. We arrived on bicycles and were able to park them overnight in a secure courtyard behind the hotel. We enjoyed an al fresco dinner in the garden with excellent wine from the Valtellina region.

The house has been refurbished recently, it's a nice mix between old architecture and new amenities. The host is lovely, gives a lot of tips and makes you feel welcome immediately. I'd recommend having dinner down in the city at Trattoria Olmo (also owned by the host) to try the typical food of the area.
