Food was sensational and chef was able to put together special dietary meal very quickly and without a fuss. The 'old Scottish Inn' character has been retained while owner has added tasteful and appropriate touches which made for a wonderful comfy, cosy place to enjoy a dram and a blether followed by a short step to a warm bed

We arrived a little later then expected, checked and and shown to our rooms. A place to eat was recommended and directions given. Fresh milk was also brought to the rooms for tea. The beds are amazing. I had the best sleep. The whole party was raving about the beds. Breakfast was sooooo good.

Overlooking Stonehaven harbour, The Ship Inn was built in 1771 and offers modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi and rooms with flat-screen TVs. Amazing place, charming and lovely.Very nice and helpful staff. Fully recommended

Balmoral Arms is situated in village of Ballater, in the centre of Royal Deeside. The property offers open log fires and free WiFi. beautifully kept older property in the center of town.

As a family of 5, we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious, comfortable beds, big bathroom. As a Pub Bn'B it was great and excellent value for money. Aside from the actual accomodation, 2 other reasons Seafield Arms is a must do are 1) The food in the restaurant. Its amazing and spans classic pub fare made to perfection (I had the lasagne burger which is not exactly as it sounds) to bordering on fine dining level cuisine (if its on the menu that day you have to try the crab bisque - its exceptional). 2) they put a lot of effort into the beer garden and nailed it. They've managed to capture a vibe you can't achieve just by throwing money at something. Plus it has a nice play area for kids that my children didn't want to leave. The actual bar was packed when we arrived for a football game so its obviously popular with the locals too. Bonus points here if you're a Man U fan.

Great property in an amazing location. The welcome glass of wine was a nice touch but the main reason I would stay again, is the service levels. The owners really went above an beyond to make sure we were happy. Will definitely recommend to a friend!
