What a find. In such a quiet town we found the nicest, modern motel ever!!! Had to drive to find 14 mins to eat but that was nothing, the place is a credit to the owners.

Just 35 metres from the waterfront of Lunenburg Harbour in Nova Scotia, this turn-of-the-century accommodation offers all rooms with a kitchenette. The room was fabulous, in an authentic house just one street from the harbour. We could only see the masts of Bluenose, but I think the room next to ours could have had full view. The breakfast is freshly prepared on site and is delicious.

Property is lovely & the breakfast was exceptional. Would highly recommend. Great location for anyone travelling to or from the NL ferry.

She was also knowledgeable about the area and history, with great suggestions of things to do. You can see Bay of Fundy tides from the inn. Fascinating geological museum and Fundy cliffs nearby.

The breakfast was one to remember, it was huge and perfectly prepared. The site was one of a kind. There was an opportunity to play, badminton, croquet, darts or just relax in the hammock. There was all the kitchen requirements, a bbq, hot plates, a full size freezer that we used to store our Digby scallops, and a fridge to allow us to prepare our suppers, which were relegated to the back burner because of the left overs from the huge breakfast and the welcome dinner.It was a shame that we didn't have a chance to cook the Mackeral that we caught from the wharf.
