It was not yet open for the season in mid-June, and it is nearly impossible to find this out except by calling the Danubius Resort. They are not very kind to non-guests. As a result, the rest of Sovata's facilities get overcrowded and out of spots by 10 AM on weekends.

The walk from the hotel to the Ursu lake is very nice. If they remake the rooms and the bathrooms, this Hotel will simply be one of the best in Sovata.

If you don't want to take the car, you can call for a taxi and the trip costs around 13 lei one way. It was easy to find public parking close to the apartment.
